@Laura 'Lokomootje' ! ❄️My feet are freezing! ❄️That catsuit stripped me off my boots, the armbinder doesn't let me put them back on, the curse didn't provide it's own (warm) boots and my follower is just talking put not helping ❄️ ?

This is Skyrim, not the warm sands of Elsweyr ❄️ ? ? ?

playing around with sit markers and some extra NPCs I'm adding to Dragonsreach (Pandorable versions of Senna, Elisif and Lizbet, I forget exactly the clothing but Elisif is wearing an Ashara corset and skirt).

Once again, following Inigo's mind vibrations while idly wondering if said vibrations are signs of Force Sensitivity.

I would say that stumbling into bandit ambushes would disprove that silly theory but when has a Jedi successfully avoided an ambush by using the Force in any recent installment of Star Wars?

Wouldn't be too much of an issue if I'd knew what in Oblivion's going on.

Hermaeus Mora is just taking his due from the Skaal village.

Is this part of the Dragonborn DLC story? I can't remember anything like this.

Yeah, this happens right before the last quest starts. Looks like the player is the bald headed male, the female slightly to the right is probably a follower with a custom outfit, and the others are probably all standard Skaal NPCs, from their coats or armor. Frea is the one to the left, near the old man with the Cthulu problem.

Your companion is lovely, who is she?
The Frea NPC replacer...Mmm... Not so much.

And to answer prev question, Yes, part of Dragonborn questline.

Never understood how people can like Faendal as a follower. If you bring him Sven's letter instead of giving it to the girl he turns into more of a conniving little weasel than even Sven was with a shitty letter of his own. Even his voice changes into a snide, cartoony, evil villain like tone. Pretty funny but killed the character for me.

Don't like him or Sven as followers they are not worth the food it cost me to feed them to bring them with me. Cannon fodder at best being the first followers you could possibly get playing a "real" game the are out classed very quickly when you get Lydia as a Housecarl.

It is odd that you get the guy a girl and the first thing he says is "Now that I like you I'm willing to leave this town and the girl you got me" but that how the "do a favor to unlock the follower" mechanic works.

I never really used followers but I suspect they were added purely for the meatshield option, especially if you stumble around the town doing everything for everyone instead of either rushing off to Balgruuf or catching the caravan to [army recruitment city] like you're told. If you did dally around and then got the quest to raid Bleak Falls, having an extra body at level 2 or 3 would be really helpful, though there's probably as much of a chance you'd lose em in one of the swinging blade traps until you learned to tell them to wait.

Sven? Faendal? Vanilla - Just say "No!"

I like the SL Solutions method.  I don't know if markydaysaid used that as the inspiration for one of his comics or if it is just that obvious. (links are the same pic just at 2 diff places).

He has some funny interactions with Auri from Song of the Green so he has that going for him. Of course, thanks to Amorous Adventures, he doesn't stay a follower option for long in any of my recent play-throughs, anyway.

Bagi'Ra has just received a proposal from the Dawn Guard. Unfortunately, only Serana was included as an option in Amorous Adventures so said offer is strictly on the up-and-up (and that isn't even a euphemism).

Shortly afterwards following a trip to Windhelm to learn a bit of history (or try in vain to do so thanks to years of erosion on the stone plaque), Bagi'Ra immediately ended up in a murder mystery involving a ghoul rather than vampires. The victim's coin purse is definitely still intact so the killer clearly was not after the family jewels.

New play Thru... Broke the last one after installing and removing a mod that let you force Bandits to be followers. Nothing for it but start again.

So I had the idea, from the Bandit horde, to collect as many low level followers as I could, but, my little girl awoke on Solstheim, no weapons, no armour, no lock picks or healing potions.
This was going to be another train run to get anywhere... Can't afford to get hit, any hit will wreck my clothes and I know for a fact an ash hopper can take me out in 2 hits.

At the Alter... Wonder if she thought she was going to a different sort of Alter?

Stopping to say Hi to some Werewolves. They're not very friendly.

20191211035633_1.jpg.812efae109d79aab4e34ac7c45cca542.jpg

I'll leave them alone as I wouldn't like them when they're angry and they clearly don't like me already.

The next stop was Brodir Grove, didn't get time to take any screen shots as things were too hectic... I died a lot here.
Ran the three Bandits into three Ash hoppers. Result was 1 dead Ash hopper and 3 dead bandits.
Ran the last two Ash Hoppers into a Burnt Spriggan.. And waited, at a safe distance.

20191211033503_1.jpg.94966701c131c91479eb25de34a49007.jpg

This left me with an angry Spriggan. Well, I should introduce him to some other people with anger management issues.

This is great for the Cardio.

Come my Furry Friends, it's Morphin time!.. Transmute!... Fur On!... Umm anything?

20191211040328_1.jpg.934096110d88edb4507776ad7134659e.jpg

Nothing, the change script only happens when you annoy them by hanging around. A real threat turns up and they choose to face as humans..../sigh

More Cardio... I think one of the tribe/clan/whatever survived.
20191211040427_1.jpg.a12916ad45dbe4a4245ccbabcb92af26.jpg

On My travels I find another Burnt Spriggan to keep the other one company and then three more hoppers for them to play with... One of the hoppers ruined my top.
20191211041010_1.jpg.1c8378c6ca4f4cd158b88f736a0d9404.jpg

...but I have a spare... And both Spriggans made it... Go Burnt Team.. Oh, wait..

20191211041137_1.jpg.12bde68602bff80708793e436cdffb8a.jpg

Time to introduce Team Burnt to Team Ash Spawn.

20191211041250_1.jpg.2463088e9b1f9b90a2789fd1e9add26c.jpg

You carry on, I'll just wait...
Hmm that didn't go as planned.

20191211041345_1.jpg.4011c0bf8cad4798c8a6b060801bca7f.jpg

What with Hoppers, Spriggans, Ash Spawn and now Reavers a wardrobe malfunction was really inevitable.

20191211041637_1b.jpg.bb758d177beb45117207c3ceb6164efc.jpg

Still All three are standing... WTF is this?

20191211041719_1b.jpg.09109a11fa59b54be0e04f385766ac3a.jpg

I introduce them to the last Burnt Spriggan in the area and use the (brief) distraction to relieave a dead reaver of her clothes to protect my modesty... Luckily she's about my size.

Notice that arrow in her stomach.. That wasn't me, that was friendly fire. In the 2.5 seconds it takes to dress (MW&A setting) Team Spawn were back.

20191211041756_1.jpg.c211ab74126ad71d815776397aea21e5.jpg

Only one thing for it, going to have to take them into town and hope the guard can deal with them.

More Cardio...

20191211041836_1.jpg.21d55d9af5affba666f000139c8c654d.jpg

It turns out that as the fight between Capt. Veloth and the Ash Spawn is a scripted event, the Ash Spawn are invulnerable until you engage them.
When they were finally dealt with I pulled 26 elven arrows from their ash piles.

20191211042317_1.jpg.2ca90bae2ab9da03a7810c32bfae6ec7.jpg

At 1st Level I am now in posession of an Elven Sword, an Elven bow, about 38 elven arrows and Stormfang! I've not swung a weapon and fired about 6 arrows from that long bow.. Amazed it survived that long. I have to wait for Glover Mallory to wake up until I can risk using my shiny new toys... Dropped weapons have a habit of breaking after a couple swings with MW&A.
And I have enough money to get off this island and go find some help...
