Have you tried the AAF version of FPE made by @fedim?  I have a pregnant companion following me with the AAF FPE mod.

I had tried this mod but it freezes during loading every time. The instructions talks about an AAF.esp that should be at top of your load order but I don't have any, so I assumed it was a mistype and it's actually talking about the AAF.esm that I have.

 

I edited the Fallout4Custom.ini as well.

 

I tested and older version and the current alpha. Any idea?

 

I didn't install any compatibility patch but I had four play installed.

Thanks I was able to start the game. However there are some error messages about morph IDs. Also, what is this "home" button? I wasn't able to open the wizard.

Yup. I've installed every file I can think of & nothing happens.

 

What things did you install? Maybe I installed too many things??!!

There are a lot of files and patches out there. A known good set that we should be testing with would help a lot.

For AAF:

  1. latest game version
  2. latest F4SE version
  3. a Female Body Replacer
  4. AAF
  5. Compatibility Patches
  6. Animation Pack(s) like rufgt's Atomic Lust, Crazy's animations patched by Polistiro and/or RustyXXL's BP70's animations
  7. Mods: RSE AAF, FPE AAF, Hookers of the Commonwealth Settlement Edition AAF

Nothing out of the ordinary and less than what was needed to get Four-Play running.

 

And aside from all of that, cleaning the official DLC's and using the unofficial patch is recommended.
 

installing Horizon might proove problematic due to all the changes done by this mod.

@lilydementia did some error tracking and it seems to boil down to Horizon causing trouble.
Needs further investigating though.

so how do I activate the AAF? This home button what is that? A menu popped up saying it could have a conflict. I use Inmersive hud.

AAF uses the crosshair layer of the hud to display it's menue, making it incompatible with iHUD's default config.
Disable iHUD's function to disable the crosshair.

I disabled the iHUD in game via MCM but still wasn’t able to see AAF menu.

Was the cross hair permanently visible after you disabled iHUD?

Yes. If you mean the little dot in the center of the screen.

 

Im not sure if I’m pressing the right key to show this menu. There isn’t any way to assign it to another keypad?

Under Data\AAF open AAF_settings.XML, search for HOTKEYS and in the lines following it change the numbers according to this page.

CG also gives an expanded list of things to install to use various add-ons others have made.

 

It shouldn't normally be necessary. But, if you have trouble getting it working, start a brand new game, uninstall every other mod except for the ones in the installation instructions. Then, you can slowly re-implement and test the additional mods to figure out what works and what does not.

AAF uses the crosshair only in the beginning of the game in the pre-war neighborhood. After that phase, it starts using the compass.

 

Immersive HUD is basically not compatible with AAF as I believe there is no option to leave the compass on at the right times.

 

If you don't like the compass, AAF has a built in way of turning it off in a friendly manner so that it doesn't break compass-dependent mods. That setting is in AAF_settings.xml

SEU uses dialog, but I've had trouble getting it to work right. Menus & Guns might work, but aren't very immersive.
