Got a problem with AAF, says main quest is not started (Error 074) I have everything properly installed, reinstalled 8 times at this point.

The full message for error 074 should be: "Save game file appears to be corrupted. Start a new game or attempt to fix the file with Fallrim Tools (at your own risk)."

 

It sounds like your save game is messed up.

I have the same msg. same problem, dunno what is causing corruption in a new game.

Hey guys, is it even possible to download the newest version of this mod? I've just entered the discord but the download link is nowhere to be found. The link to the public release is locked and it says "No Access".

It doesn't sound like something that would cause corruption, etc. Just maybe not the latest features. @CGi might be able to clarify the message for that combo.

GFV was never updated for the latest AAF release. Nothing more to it.

Since STEAM has announced that 163 will soon be no longer supported, I & a great many changed over to NG. By now, If I had to guess, I'd give it 65% or higher.

 

Therefore, the whole NAF vs AAF is a moot point, since NAF has stated they will not go to NG, they will stay on 163.

 

So IMHO, the problem has basically resolved itself.

And Steam doesn't "support" any games, they do keep copies of the older versions in the depot. So your statement makes no sense.

This is nonsens. Steam is just a platform like GOG, Epic games etc where you can buy games. Techincaly there are no more 1.10.163 version official - you cannot buy version before NG. So if you still have OG copy you're good to go.

My guess Zeus is borked. Checked on my end, same issue. That will teach me to keep a rar file with AAF on the external drive everytime I want to screw around in F4.

 

UPDATE EDIT: Never mind. Try deleting cookies. Worked for me. That or spamming Nuke for a couple seconds. Could be also my 5th world internet. Good luck.

Yeah, it worked now. I just tried to unreact and the react again, it worked without deleting the cookies.

The bot platform that handles that feature seems to drop out randomly for short amounts of time. If it fails for anyone else, just wait a few minutes and try again.

AFF is not working properly for me.  I used AFF_GFV and it says the version of AFF is not supported.  I'm currently using F4SE v .6.23 (Oct 2022) due to the NG downgrade.  Do I need an archived version of the AFF that works with F4SE v .6.23?

Try going here and seeing what they suggest to get your game up and running. I assume you are trying to use adult mods. They have a discord that is usually very active and can cover both Safe for Work and NSFW mods as well. I am too rusty currently to advise. My last time using AAF was before Bethesda nuked the game and messed it up where people have to choose NG or the new system. Good luck
