This means that some research, testing is needed on the mod authors or your side to narrow down the cause further. In a modding context, just observing that something happens sometimes leaves too many factors to rule out. Could be install issues, broken third party mods, corrupt files, who knows.

 

Even stranger Dago, is that one actor will stand up, while the other actors are still performing the animation!

Bizarre, I know, but it's repeatable.

I've just reinstalled downgraded FO4 due to noticing alot of updates with mods here for NG (which didn't work due to SUP_F4SE not being available yet) and I've gotten all mods to work, except AAF.

I'm playing Commonwealth Slavers and none of the sex animations play, the NPC character just walks around softlocking me due to being unable to progress until the scene plays.

 

I've installed these mods multiple times and don't understand why it's not working, not getting any errors or anything, just animations/scenes not playing

Well I would suggest making sure your AAF installation works before adding other mods. 

ETA: you can turn on debug menu for AAF to view messages.

from what I can see, when pressing "home" to try and manually start a scene, AAF says it cannot detect any actors in range. In reality there is Me and 2 raider NPC's stood next to one another. I'm using AAF and the 2 themes available on here.

In that case, your next step is to remove any and every mod except for the one(s) that allow it to be repeated.

 

Then, after that, pull out the configuration that is needed to repeat the issue and put into its own mod files.

 

With a test pack like that I can troubleshoot the issue.

I may.........MAY........have fixed the problem, inadvertently.

Upon reinstalling Vortex, I noticed I hadn't installed NET 6.0........

So I installed the new version of Vortex, installed NET 6.0 & rebooted my machine.

 

Everything seems more stable. And thusfar, no one is standing up in the middle of an animation.

I'll keep testing.

:)

 

EDIT: Well, THAT was short-lived. They are back to standing up again.

:(

That sounds exactly like what happens when one idle is set to Dyn_Activation while the other is set to Dyn_ActivationLoop.

A couple of animation packs have their idles set as dyn_Activation instead of dyn_ActivationLoop.  That will cause them to stop after they play once instead of looping until AAF stops them.  AAF_GrayAnimations.esp from Fifty Shades has a few of those, I ended up fixing them in xEdit.

Yes. AAF tells you in a box on the right side of the screen what animation is playing.

Actually, we could do with an update that would include some gang bang animations as well. We now have software that wants them.

 

MMM+FFF, MMMM+FFFF, MM+FFFF, MMMM+FF, MMMMM+FFF, for example.

Multiple Dog animations as well, which is something I've asked for since the mid 2000's.......

 

Such as:

 

Dog dog dog+F, Dog Dog Dog+F+F

No. It should only pop up when you first install it.

This may have been covered but I am unable to find it.

Everything works great except, when start a talk or action the female breasts jump up. Is there a fix for that?

For some reason it happens always after loading a savegame. I am also below the 255 plugin limit...I can't figure out where the problem is. Any idea?

Yes. Sounds like you got the wrong skeleton, or the wrong OCBP. Check for updates.

Hey, sorry to be a bother but I've never used Discord in my life and just made an account to get the newest AAF and I have absolutely no idea where the file is or how to find it. Please help me!

Unfortunately, I'm not a programmer & my "Script-Fu" isn't the best, either.

AAF writes some meta type data to keep track of what has been installed. So, it sounds like your setup is somehow blocking or erasing data writes.

Is it normal that my game stalls out for quite a few seconds on initial load followed by some text in the top left that flashes by too quick to read, then an 'aaf' with some squiggles and commas in the top right a few times before I can play?

 

Usually takes about 20-30 seconds and it's only upon loading from main menu so not game-breaking. I'm just wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or is that normal??
