The only time I've ever seen your issue was when HC flagged a Raider Boss, Chancer, I believe it was, as a Bull. In that case I thought is was funny to have a Bull Dyke running around. 😜

The only thing you need to test is AAF and SavageCabbage's animation pack. With that you can test the basic functionality. When that works you can start adding the other goodies.

Just make sure you have the correct version for your game version. AAF version doesn't matter as it works with pre NG & NG versions. But F4se for example is version dependent.

But if you're using the NG version of the game.. you'll have other issues from Bugthesda's fuck up that may interfere with things. So keep that in mind.

 

And make sure you don't have any "not allowed" mods or ones with naf in the mod name. Or roll AAF back to the nexus version or use NAF, which is getting better & better rather quickly, and built on the far more stable version of the game.

Either way, get AAF working correctly, as that will solve your root issues right off the bat.

AAF team, can you help: i am looking for full list of reasons I can get actors blocked when starting AAF scene:

 

[10/16/2024 - 08:25:20PM] Blocked:  / Solomon / -16729521
[10/16/2024 - 08:29:48PM] Blocked:  / Doc Crocker / -16740808

 

I did not find it in AAF source code I have (i know childs are blocked and likely those actors who have flag AAF_API.AAF_ActorBlocked)

 

What was also observed in those cases is that scene generally does not start in that case (and no OnSceneInit event). But if I know why actors can get blocked I can check them before starting the scene.

That is a keyword check.  If an actor has any keyword in the AAF_BlockedKeywords formlist, that message will be logged and the actor will not enter the animation.  That list by default includes the AAF_ActorBlocked and ActorTypeChild keywords.

 

AAF itself will not put those keywords on an actor, so something else would have done it.

 

If you are doing this in a script, you can call akActor.HasKeywordInFormList(AAF_BlockedKeywords) to verify whether they would be blocked.

Thank you, it is very good to know that AAF itself will not put those keywords on an actor! I am puzzled since actors were participating in a scene, initiated by me, but then once I initiated next scene with them right after OnSceneEnd, they got blocked, so if not AAF then something else added the flag to them as you said...

So, from there, I think there is some problem in the mod you are using. It might even have that NPC set as one gender while using the opposite gender body.

 

Well, I deleted Buffout 4 & Address Library from my game & my women no longer randomly show up as men.

YAY!

 

Apparently, working on my Custom Modular Homes mod, adding new stuff via the CK was causing these files to go crazy & mess with my custom followers.

I still get the occasional "Scene 9" error when someone wants to play with Dogmeat.

 

.......Other than that, everything is working fine........THUS FAR.

Not sure. It doesn't seem to be AAF related.

It's the Form ID of the Actor reference.  In your case it's a little strange.  -16729521 is FF00BA4F in hex, which means it's a temporary spawned reference (refs starting with FF are dynamically created references, as opposed to references placed in the creation kit).  In other words, it's a copy of Solomon, not the "real" one you find in Diamond City.

All the actors in Dreams are clones of vanilla NPC's, so that would be normal.

Just dropping by to comment that I am still patiently awaiting a tag received event, for OnSceneInit. 😀

😁 I've had some IRL matters to focus on lately. But, things are clearing up so that I'll have more time for AAF soon.

 

Was this a request you already sent to me? (Doesn't quite sound familiar) Or, maybe a bug shared with Ego?

I'm new to discord and would like to know.
I have accessed the LL link to discord and created an account, But I don't know how to download AAF.

It's pretty much like that on most Discord channels. Always thought it kinda funny, you can agree, get what you need, then remove your agree click. 💫🤦‍♂️

Hi. It was difficult to understand the DL method for non English players.

By the way, I know SAM and SAMFormer. But can't the actor position be adjust using keystrokes just like in Skyrim SexLab?

You can move the scene but not individual actors of a scene using the number pad. The keys can be changed in the AAF settings.ini

That’s unfortunate that. I think it's very useful and hope it will be added in the updates.
