Discord is a well known honeypot and not safe to interact with, especially in certain countries.  You may as well host it on Facebook.  Please post mirrors.

I am referred to a discord site for the AAF updated file and an invite  pops up, but I am denied access to the invite for some reason.  Any ideas on how to get access to this AAF download

I agree with Martinbryce1 on the mirrors, only supporting the install guides on discord is fine, even keeping the discord version up-to-date with mirrors being behind by a few days. but im on discord, if people see his message and assume discord is a horrible wasteland of trolls, hackers, and scammers, you'd be wrong. moderated discords are fine, and i assume AAF's has some moderators and admins, my excuse for mirrors is im over the 100 server limit because i had nitro for a while but needed to end it. so i cant join. 

i should mention, i only explain how discord is, because alot of people will just read last page reviews for latest reasons why people like/hate mods, and with that being right there, some may be deterred.

Discord demands a phone number for some people to even create a guest account.

 

 

If that were not the case, I would agree with you. Just create an account and login.

 

But that is not the case for the vast majority of people.

 

It is unfortunate that you see Discord as being a "public" space. Really unfortunate. Because that's far from reality.

Look at it from my perspective:

 

A) Tried hosting it on mod hosting platform. Result: Was ripped off by both platforms and users. Was not protected according to either law or even basic ethics.

B) Tried hosting it on a third party web site location. Result: People bitched and moaned constantly that they had to make a new login for something. Falsely accused me of farming their information, etc.

 

To summarize, I showed my good faith by trying these options before. And it just gave people an opening to shit on me and discourage me from working more on public mods at all. So, if you have a beef with where I've put the mod now, your beef is with the culprits listed in A and B above.

I'm on the Discord or whatever page where is dl link is this still thing right? sorry not played Fallout 4 few years. Nevermind decided to  enjoy a game the headache of all this modding isn't worth it anymore to me. Either way good luck with your future endeavours.

Then don't download this FREE mod, stupid that you act as if YOU are put out because YOU cant get this FREE mod the way YOU want too.  Looks like you think it's all about you.  That's definitely not the case so either quit whining and follow the easy steps to get this FREE mod or go some where else and whine ............for FREE.  Unbelievable.

AAF doesn't technically need a Buffout 4 but if you are using a lot of AAF mods (e.g. a full UAP setup from Saya's guide) then it is highly recommended to avoid out of memory errors.

 

The other missing piece is LooksMenu, which is needed for morphs.
