If all you see is the #rules channel then you didn't read the rules and follow the instructions to indicate that you've agreed. Once you do, all the rest of the channels appear.

HOw do I enable F on F action?  I assume I need a strap on mod of a kind (any recommendations), however the animatino fails to play, the characters awkwardly stand around. With M to F there is zero issues, so what do I need to change to enable F to F?

You need animations made for F+F participants, which will usually define the addition of necessary equipment for one of the actors. For example, here you can find both the equipment and AAF XML files to add it in animations:

There is an update ready to go and all is in place (ie. looksmenu, etc.). But, I'd like to check in with Egoballistic first in case he has final edits to make/add. He hasn't been online for a few days. So, appears to be on a hiatus. I'm sure that he has good reason and I think it's best to just be patient at this time.

FWIW, the next update comes with some optimizations that make adding F+F animations much easier. Basically, instead of relying on hard-coded gender assignments, it is set up based on required "parts". And there is a way to add auto-add "parts" like the strapon which then makes new actor combinations eligible for any animation where that combo of parts would "work". If that makes sense. It may be easier to understand just to see in action...

AFAIK, there is no “list”. Considering the site that you’re on, some things should be fairly obvious though.

There is also the support thread on Discord that has (near) constant eyes from support group that  can help you if you do find you have a question regarding a compatable mod. If you are instrested in Adult mods there is a guide here for that as well. I'd suggest that you follow that guide and set up a basic (adult) mod setup and test it well (a few hours in game) then once you are sure you are good to go, then either add a mod and test more or go to the support thread on Discord and post your mod you want to use. They should quickly be able to let you know if there are any "known" problems with the mod.

Unfortunately, I am completely unable to go on that thread, or any other from AAF,  rather I have an invite or not.   I am not sure if I am banned (or why I was if I am), or if there is something else going wrong.

Most likely LooksMenu isn't installed correctly (or you installed the wrong version for your game and F4SE versions), or you're using a very old AAF version. Modern AAF relies on LooksMenu's Overlays API to copy body overlays like tattoos to the "doppelganger" NPC it uses as a substitute for the player in animations.

 

What versions of Fallout 4, F4SE, LooksMenu and AAF did you install?

Right now, if you want to use AAF the recommendation is to downgrade to Fallout 4 version 1.10.163 with F4SE 0.6.23 and LooksMenu 1.6.18.

 

You might be able to get things working with the "NG" versions you have now if you overwrite AAF's copy of LLFP with a newer experimental version, but AAF support folks would caution you to just stick with the older game until the next AAF release comes out with proper NG support.

I had scour the Discord settings and enable

"Show emoji reactions on messages" for this to be visible.

Who the f even has this stuff turned on.

Suddenly random bits of text have random emoji below them.

Probably the orgasm sound effect from Sex Attributes. I made a trivial plugin patch to attenuate it by 10db, I'll post it in the SA support topic and link it here shortly for reference.

I think that's on by default in Discord, and from what I've seen lots of Discord server operators assume people don't turn it off and run spam deterrent bots or other automation that rely on people clicking emoji reactions like that. The AAF Discord is not remotely alone in that regard.
