Hide contents I tried but there are only .xml files and they don't get recognized as "data" I guess I'll have to move them into a specific folder, but which is it? AAF or another one?

AAF or another one? Yes, just unpack the archive and copy the AAF folder to the same One Patch folder .

I've deactivated all my mods except (in order top to bottom): F4SE 06.20 Looksmenu 1.6.18 AAF 114.0B AAF SexEmUp 1.01 AnimsbyLeito 2.0a AAF patches for Crazy & Leito mods The One Patch to Bang Them All Ive confirmed that my keyboard is not broken (the arrow keys actually work). I have debugging mode on. it shows missing plugins for the DLCs but my understanding is that AAF is not DLC dependent (and I left these blank in the fomod setup). I've tried it from a new game (post player setup / pre vault)

I post this here because it isn't just with CSA. No dogs work, period. They do with NPC's, but not the PC.

Why don't you check out the Discord server and post your screen capture from the GFV tool found under the tool channel It will be quicker and if there are some issues, many eyes will be there. If posting there or here. please state the capture from there. It is the first step to resolving the issue

It is in FO4 folder not the data folder update: With nothing to lose, I went through each requirements. Many were updated and/or changed since the new version of AAF And while that is a big fail on my end, there were as many that were labeled wrong ie: optional, but if you used a mod two lines up it was no longer optional and that wasn't stated. A big one is the patch for savage cabbage animations that with the latest version of AAF comes with the patch so it is no longer required. For me it stuck on 30%. Was only thing I needed to do after actually figuring new requirements and installing them. I dont know the exact mod that was throwing those errors, as I was checking updates and confirming versions as well as installing several optional files to save myself the frustration later so when I did finally go back in game, no errors and everything working smooth now. I can't figure out why you have the issue. Also, good that =you posted here you were having problems with Discord. If you don't get a response, I'd shout out once then give it a bit (use the @ name etc) to get his attention then if not ... PM him. Might be something going on. He can give the best info and such.

See if the files are there.

The best answer I have with such little info is: If you have an ERROR with a number then there is something wrong with one or more of the AAF mods that you have or have not installed. If there is just an ERROR with no number then it could be any other mod that you have installed.
