The formation xml file affects the number of actors that you can see as being available in the AAF wizard.  In the standard wizard 500 units is the search distance so if you leave that alone then the standard formation xml should cover all NPC's close to you..  I had increased my search distance from 500 to 2500 for more "flexibility".  I was looking right at someone I wanted to test out AAF with, but there were too many NPC's between us.  So I increased the formation size and viola AAF takes forever to load, but I can see everything within the 2500 unit distance.  (I recently brought the total number down to 50'sh from 70 as that shaved about 2 minutes off of the AAF actor scan wait time

That means that you are running something that you shouldn't be and it is a requirement of something else that you also shouldn't be running

Hi everyone. I have aaf with all the animation and it works perfectly.

I downloaded a mod called "Playable Deathclaw". I was wondering if it is possible to turn into a deathclaw and the fuck people. :)

When I try to do that the AAF consideres me a human. Any idea?

Not sure but I think you would have to add it to the list of accepted races in AAF. Which could mean a lot of work as that mod creates a lot of death claw races judging by it's description page on NEXUS. I could be wrong..

Thanks for the reply. How do you add a race to acceptable races in AAF? I can start with one and see if it works.

That is not what the formation XML is for. Formations are just what they sound like, a bunch of coordinates for putting actors into a literal formation. The option to apply formations appears in the wizard. But, serves no other purpose currently.

a question I would like to ask you:


I use a mod called "combat sript lite" and works nickel with aaf.
the mod is 99% compatible with aaf, however, there is in this mod a function that needs fourplay.
i would like to know if you know where i can find the proxy fourplay for aaf?

It's not recommended that you use Fourplay anymore with AAF but I think your looking for this:

. Not even sure if the proxy still works with AAF.

I use Leito but have One Patch and One Patch Fix loading after and overwriting it. Do not use any other patch since I use BT2 and Fusion Girl..

So One Patch & One Patch Fix now works? BP70 v2.2 has masturbation animation, so the only thing I'm lacking is the Dogmeat anims.

The Four-Play proxy is now in the AAF Modders Resource.  It should do what you need.  CSL listens for FourPlay's animation start and stop events to determine whether the player is in a sex scene.  The proxy listens for the equivalent AAF events and translates them to the FourPlay versions, so CSL should now respond to AAF events.

It only works if you set it up this way One Patch after BT2, Leitos, Vader, Farells...One Patch Fix after everything including Creature Pack and Mutated Lust, except BP70 which can go standalone. I use Dog Love as doggie junk backup for when Creature and One Patch do not deliver..BT 2.75 erection at 0...morphed.

On my machine the wasd movement keys ( and mouse-look ) control the camera during animations. They are the default move keys so try whatever you have movement mapped to.

None Of That Works For Me, As Soon As AAF Takes Over All My Controls Are Temporarily Disabled Until The Animation Finishes

AAF dose not disable Keys. Are you using anything to remap keys? when in animations can you use the homekey to open AAF?

I've tried every dog mesh I could find, and no junk. I'm not sure where I put doggie love, but I'll try that next.

Hi! I have some questions about the AAF API StartScene behavior

 

- if I pass it 2 actors with no compatible animation, what does it do? I am supposing it just skips back and returns to original state (i.e. not animating)?

- if I pass it 3 actors which "bundled" together have no compatible animations (let's say one human female, one human male and one feral ghoul), however, out of those, two are compatible to animate - again, what does it do? Will it skip the scene entirely, or select any two which are compatible (both FH-MH and FH-FG are compatible) and play a 1-1 scene?

- in a threesome of 1 female and 2 males, does it matter which one is actor[0]? is it supposed to be the female?

It sounds like you have an old version of LLFP over-writing the one that comes with AAF.

Yeah. It fails and gives information about why it failed in an event you can listen for.

Same as before. It would fail and send out an error report u can pick up and interpret. There is a group feature that nobody to my knowledge has used that takes a group like this and creates random combinations that work. But, it may need some further development. Some docs about it on the wiki.

AAF will re-arrange the order if necessary to make the animation work based on its requirements. Otherwise, it will use the order that you give it. So, if gender requirements are removed then the order matters.

 

I think some patch makers, etc. have ideas about what order to make genders in animation XML. But, I'm not sure if any rule has stuck for that.
