I don't think, that converting MNC 9 will do the job. And CF doesn't need a special conversion for MNC9. If you have crashes with a specific creature, or a specific location, or a specific NPC, you have a bad nif, a bad texture or a wrong Skeleton. Finding and replacing it will solve your problems.

Hey so I can't get the matchmaker function to call Netch or Seeker animations. I can view them in the animation editor, but trying to play the animations through matchmaker or other means (Aroused Creatures, Defeat, etc.) is not working. In fact, targeting them with matchmaker brings up a list of human animations, and they aren't among the creatures listed in the framework, either.

Is there a way to add another Category type to the creature list? I'm trying to use Animal Schlongs of Skyrim and it works on all of the other dogs except my follower dog. Its Meeko from Meeko's shack and he is classified as a Dog (Follower) and the creatures list doesnt have that option to say I want to use the Animal SOS for him. It does for Husky Follower. Is there a way to reclassify Meeko or add Dog (Follower) to the creature list?

Hey all! I've been using the average cocktail of mods and I'm experiencing some issues. I deleted all of my saved games but when I started a new game I experienced a plaguing issue, creature framework seems  to initialize for an eternity. Almost all menu options are blurred out but after half an hour it still shows the initializing error telling me not to open menus (which I've abided by).

My load order is

-HDT Physics

-Jcontainers

-XP32

-SL framework

-SL aroused

-Creature Framework

-SL defeated

-SL inflation framework

-sky ui

-UIExtensions

-FNIS (framework spells and creature pack

-SLTools

-MNC (and HC)

-MassMatchMaker

-Body slider

-Fill her up (CBBE addition)

-race compatibility fixes

 

Any assistance outside of using a save game cleaner would be much appreciated as I've already attempted it.

Update!

I think I narrowed the cause for the infinite initialization on my end, seems I'm using Jcontainers instead of Jcontainers SE. The only problem is with the SE version my game crashed upon loading in, with the oldrim version I just can't get creature framework to activate. Any ideas on if there is a patch to fix it and make the SE usable?

Im on the SE version and i got MNC with my CF n a bunch of other mods including animation mods and i do have my jcontainers set n ready to go. Everything was animating fine about 2 days ago for Giants but now the animation starts and my character animates correctly but the giant wont animate with my character. He'll just stand there naked doin the idle giant standing animation. I did install a few extra mods (various combat related ones) so i guess i should post my load order. (also wanna mentioned i reinstalled my xp32 max extended skeleton thing so dunno if that could do it.) but if anyone has any ideas on what might be the issue pls lemme know. (I also re-ran FNISSE n everything said it was fine.)

I also checked and dwarven centurions also do not animate and idles there instead while my character still animates. (seems to be affecting large humanoid creatures) as Mammoth works fine

seems to affect draugr as well so its not just large humanoid creatures. (im starting to think its ultimate combat cuz it lists : draugr, centurion, giant, falmer, dragon priest) with their own AI toggles (though since Troll is not in the ultimate combat toggles the troll works fine in animations so its not all humanoid creatures.. just the ones that are in Ultimate combat. (even flame atronach works)

i honestly dunno now... i pressed the deactivate mod button on ultimate combat and the issue still persists. ugh.. i even moved MNC under ultimate combat to see if that helped but nope. hope someone has ideas :c

My load order usually is sorted with LOOT and I tend to bash patch a lot of stuff. (also sorry for the long post >_<;; )

That seems... impossible. What if you close the menu, reopen, and try again? Save, reload, and try?

OK so i figured out what went wrong with my draugrs, giants, dwarven centurions, dragon priests, and all the creatures that are affected by Ultimate combat.

Ultimate combat is literally NOT compatible with the above creatures for naughty animations. 

Does anyone know of a patch for this? 

The issue lies within Ultimate combat's edits of these creatures and makes them not animate while your character still animates entirely; essentially making them useless for the Creature Framework.

Ultimate Combat replaces the "behavior" animation files for creatures, so it won't be compatible with FNIS (which does the same thing).

 

There's no simple way to patch it. UC would have to break out its animation changes and instead work them into the FNIS system. Which should be possible - it's just not something you or I could do.

Could some folks post a load order?  Every time I log iinto Skyrim SE the creature files are not registered in sexlab.   I re enable them all in SLAL and they then register. But nothing works. 
I have been messing with load order for quite some time.  I have all the pre requistes installed so I suspect the issue is in the order.

thats what i was afraid of :c but for now i just reinstalled FNIS (cuz update was available) and deinstalled then reinstalled the creatures pack and basically overwrote the changes UC made. So everything functions fine regarding the creatures now but I know its basically removing some of UC's features from those creatures too but I guess its an alright compromise to make.

There was a problem if you had any Mods from CrapClub (Creation Club) installed, but that bug should be fixed in newer versions of JContainers:
the problem was you had to remove them before you could register/reregister Creature Framework based mods into Creature Framework.

I had a bunch of bugs, I think I had the wrong version of JContainers at some point.... Anyway. I pretty much worked out all the kinks, and just finished fixing the "eternally initializing" bug, and thought my CTD issue would be fixed, but it isn't?

 

My current issue is: other, normal animations and even SLAL animations work, except I found out I CTD on any Falmer animation. Other creature ones work. I'm so confused atm, are they maybe just bugged? The animation starts, stripping, then actor teleport - because I have to have that set for another mod (SLDefeat) - and then when the actual first frame of the animation would start --> CTD.

 

Any ideas?

First step is to rerun FNIS with the HKX Compatibility option enabled. Does it report any warnings or errors?

Okay trying that now, no errors so far.
