I've been wondering, with all these mods for Skyrim AE now, is LOOT still suitable to manage the load order? I still use it because I don't know enough about modding to manage load orders myself and Skyrim hasn't shown me any issues to date apart from small things.

The existence of AE didn't change how we sort loadorders. LOOT is still a repository of rules, it should help you get a functional loadorder but as always it may  leave some stuff in less than optimal places. That's why you should create your own rules after checking things ingame or better yet checking at record conflicts in xEdit.

I don't really use that many mods, I only have 64 plugins in NMM for the game which is the most I use among all my modded games, all the others are far fewer so LOOT typically makes them work well enough. I think I tried to use xEdit in the past but I wasn't that good with it. My knowledge with modding is pretty basic which is also why I typically lurk in these threads to possibly learn something.

For that amount I wouldn't put much effort in conflict resolution TBH. LOOT should be enough to avoid the most obvious conflicts. Just verify patches are being loaded below the stuff they're supposed to patch, and follow the odd "load at the very bottom" instruction some mods have.

I always check mod articles to see if something I'm using is listed in conflicts and if there are patches available, obviously. Generally, though, I only use mods that are very lore-friendly and enhance the game world so I don't expect to see any crazy conflicts. Might be worth it to look into xEdit again, though.

LOOT is better than doing nothing, but is generally not as good as doing it by hand, making custom patches, etc. For most users, it's entirely fine.

LOOT functionally uses a list of rules to say "mod A should be loaded after mod B, which should be loaded after mod C", and list if any mods have certain issues (eg, ModA and ModB need a compatibility patch). If a mod is not in the list, LOOT puts it near the bottom, but before any mods that rely on it, which is the biggest issue with it.

Anyone no a mod that will allow me to pick what sex animation i want. For some reason when i press 0 the animation list dont pop up.

I have noticed that sometimes the list takes a while to open, like it's searching for an animation.  That is on SE/AE.  Maybe this is what is going on, try giving it a few seconds 20-30ish?

Going to do more updates over the next couple days. And I put dates in the title and at the top of the post so you know when I'm lagging on updates.

Is there any update coming to the 'SexLabUtil' SKSE plugin. Keep getting the error saying "Outdated or missing 'SexLabUtil' SKSE plugin dectected"

Probably best to ask on the thread for that mod

Yeah, this thread is a tracker, it can only follow updates that are already available, only the creator of the mods know if updates are coming, so asking help on mods or predictions on updates is USELESS in this thread, you WON'T have the answer you seek.

I'm brushing up against the limits of what I can/should be doing in a forum post - >19 screenfuls on my big monitor and I was about to hit 300KB of post content by adding more translation stuff - so instead I'm going to move forward with an idea I had earlier: setting up a github.io site that presents all the information I have, then using the first post to focus on the highlights and more popular mods/requests.
