Sometimes an immediate retry gets me to LL, but not always.

IDK if it's because I'm sitting behind a vpn, bad luck, or what, but it's roughly 70% 502s, 30% slow loading but at least it's loading.

For over an hour off and on I have tried to reply back and only now (ifit uploads that is) am I able to even post. It is really bad. Cleared DNS etc, etc.

Unless everyone posting about seeing Gateway Error 502 and experiencing slow downs are all behind VPN, that's probably not a factor.

It "remembered" the original font size from Word (14) and Copy/Paste worked fine. There was no line spacing errors either. Ashal either fixed it (if he did - many tanks) or miracle happened. But I have to report my latest status update disappearing. I wished happy New year yesterday and posted hot picture and that status was gone. Was it deleted by moderator or it was site's fault?

Perhaps it is the editing you are doing to the document. I have noticed sometimes with using Word and some other word programs, it leaves formatting that you don't see. This can mess up the site when coping and pasting to the site. I get that from time to time with my SCR Resources Tutorial and I have to go in and fix the original document so that later I can copy and paste into the OP. I hadn't thought of that but now that you state it works now, it might be that.

It'll remove color font from words it'll prevent that wall of blinding ass white crap it'll also fix somethings as well like if a link gets a word attached to the link when it's not suppose to.

I hadn't thought of that but now that you state it works now, it might be that. Thanks again, but it's not the case. As I said; I NEVER had that issue on old site. "Copy and Paste" worked perfectly. Posting my blog entries on he new site gave me a lot of problems from the beginning. I had to reedit every single entry. My last entry was the only exception. I have in plan to post another diary entry in Friday, after the work. Will let you know how it worked.

Are you talking about using BBCode and/or spoiler since I'm not using either of them. I simply click on "Add new entry" and when the new window opens, I paste my text. I haven't seen the options you are talking about and I'm not using color fonts; only capital letters to emphasis some words. Anyhow, thanks for suggestions. Will see how it will work in Friday.
myuhinny Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 It might be your browser but all I do is click the reply to this topic box and then right click in the box and I get a *paste* and a *paste as plain text* If you copy text that is in a different color like green if you use the paste option it pastes it with the green color but if you use the paste as plain text that gets removed from what you are posting and it will instead paste it as normal text. So if you copy something that has something attached to the stuff you copied when you paste it that is going to be pasted with all that stuff attached to it but if you use the paste as plain text removes all that stuff that is attached to it when you copied it. Have you seen those posts where there is that huge bright ass white background or bright ass lettering? Those are caused by the copying and pasting it without using the paste as plain text you can also paste what was copied into notebook and then copied back out and then you can use paste as that removes anything that was attached to it.

I don't have offered "Paste as the plain text" option when pasting my text into my entry. The old site had the icons with such possibility but I never had to use it since "Copy/Paste" worker perfectly. Never mind, good man, I'll just work with the text on LL as it is hoping that one day this might be "fixable". Thank you for being very helpful.
