The bodyslide issue... reinstall the mod. You're simply missing the files, of if you can't build anything, it's a setup issue. Trash the original DD 2.0 I mean completely... and install RC9 Theeen build the items in bodyslide. Second issue: That is a DCW issue, and to fix it copy & paste the following console command to turn combat surrender off. You must do this BEFORE entering the Vault. set dcw_enableCombatSurrender to 0 You can also use xEdit to permanently turn it off. It's located in Global, just change it from 1 to 0. 1

I am tempted to do this myself, but I think I am not insightful enough, I am not even currently running a DD equipped game. (But I am thinking about it, and the chase after random bits of information made me realize that other people likely have the same problems.) It's also tempting to only link to the most recent RC instance, but I think there's going to be people out there using something which breaks, maybe in a version-dependent way, so having older "releases" to test against could relieve some frustration. (But maybe older stuff should be displayed less prominently - spoiler tags, maybe.) Then again... I am "volunteering" someone else's time. Which might be bad/rude/abusive. So... if no one else steps up (and no one explains to me why this is a Really Stupid Idea), I might eventually set up a download page like this myself.

Not sure Slave Heels is important to mention as it's been included directly in the RC versions pretty much since day 1.

Enchantings are sort of optional, but good to reference, ground objects are almost but not quite required. lampuiho Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 (edited) Using RC9 beta I have turned on the lockpicking mini game but when choosing the lockpicking option, I get shown both the failed pop up screen and the lockpicking mini game screen after closing pipboy Weird. I will have to check the script to see how I can fix it. edit: the problem is the lockpick minigame is supposed to be shown without closing PipBoy. For some reason, it is only showing when I close pipboy. But it also means utility.wait is finished. edit2: removing utility.Wait(0.1) on line 1488 DD_RestraintScript.psc (just after the door moves to player and before lock is set on it) fixes the issue. Instead of remove i recommend add line UI.CloseMenu("pipboymenu") before Bool _failed = false and will close pipboy automatically and delay will not stuck. Will be added on next hot fix stage.

Tried stright jacket white topless shirt - for walking everything is fine, but for sitting not. This mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22351) breaks that topless shirt. I mean character simply cross legs. Edit - and I can't find how to craft all stuff from scratch? Is it possible or I should buy every single restraint separate? It requires a special workbench, which you can find in the raider section of the settlement building menu.

Any ideas how this happened?

There's a workaround called Invisible Dead Body Fixer but your alternatives are basically to live with it or get rid of your generic BodyGen configuration (and perhaps only apply BodyGen to living NPCs by explicit ID.) 1

On very rare occasions (I mean like so few I could count them on one hand after thousands of hours of gameplay), I've seen a living NPC load in after fast travel with an invisible body and just floating head/hands, but like I said it's nothing to do with Devious Devices. Also, the party line is that Devious Devices is generally not intended for equipping on NPCs. You can end up with effects that persist after devices are removed, actors stuck in DD poses, and so on. It will mostly work, but get good at workarounds like reequipping things so you can unequip them again, doing openactorcontainer in the console because you can't access the trade menu when they have a gag on, etc.

However I'm playing a male character so... You'd need a patch to make them work "correctly" for the male body. But anyway, make sure you built the outfits in BodySlide.

If so, that'll take some scripting. If you just don;t want the effect at all, turn it off before entering hardcore mode. BTW, during an AAF scene the PC in invisible, a doppelganger is getting banged and the camera is in fly mode. 2

Once you get them off the NPC, never put them on NPC's again! It causes more issues than it's worth.
