 Kinda sad that SMP guy himself can't be arsed to update it himself, more clues that Skyrim SE is abandon ware.

AS long as the community can keep the mods alive, it doesn't matter if someone quits....

We already had this with other mods like Jcontainers or Creature Framework.

SSE is growing every day- look at the daily mod counts on Nexus for proof.

HydrogensaysHDT said months ago that he was tired of Skyrim and wasn't going to update SMP for it any more when Bethesda broke it. Despite that, he did in fact update it each and every time Bethesda broke it. He also said he would release the source code, but sadly, he has not yet done so.

On a more positive note, @Shizof has been working on expanding CBPC to provide cloth physics in addition to body physics. When he succeeds, it will fill the gap in case "Sister Hydro" decides he's had enough of Bethesda's game-breaking nonsense but nonetheless continues to refuse to release the SMP source code.

So while "Sister Hydro" may in fact be "abandoning" SSE (and SMP development for SLE as well), others are working to fill the void. Meanwhile, just block updates and enjoy the game until such time as SMP Physics is updated or CBPC becomes CBPCC (the extra C stands for Cloth Physics) :classic_tongue:

Very true, it isn't the mod author's job/obligation to keep updating their DLL on an extremely old game if they're not getting paid to so.  However, like you mentioned, it would be very convenient for them to release the source code if they did tire of it.

 I apologize... I meant to say that Skyrim SS SMP is Abandon ware. He himself couldn't be bothered to update it-even though just a itty bitty hex edit, still no source code, still no bug clean up nor anymore advancements to it. Although I'd perfer SMP, I believe the future is with Shizof's work. :)

Au contraire, mon frère, SisterHydro's 1.5.73 version reportedly* removed the "unprovoked jitters" as well as reduced SMP's fps penalty. I would call both of those improvements "advancements."

*I say "reportedly" because I'm blocking updates and still happily chugging along on 1.5.62/2.0.12. I was 1 day away from updating to 1.5.73 when Bethesda stuck the knife in our backs again. :classic_angry:

  I am on the same SKSE and for the same reason, not sure if I am missing out though. My statement still stands....Pouts.

There's no SMP for VR.

Try out CBPP. Or at least check out his Page on Nexus...

Yes, using NMM install them will work (replace previously installed *.dll files).

You still need the body/cloth/hair supporting physics to actually see them (I assume you already have).

If you're starting fresh, I'd highly recommend skipping NMM, and using Mod Organizer 2 (MO2).  NMM isn't being developed on anymore, and is not as good as MO2.  You can download from the Nexus sight directly with it still, don't worry, and it's much better about not fucking up your install.  Also Vortex is pretty decent, but most people still prefer MO2.

Im using MO2 right now thanks to nexus..Cause I have no other choice..And its really pain to use it..I always used nexus mod manager on oldrim but right now MO2 is looks so complex..But I must say its more usefull. Until I learn compltly I know its pain in the ass.. Also Im not happy with SE graphics its look so bad IDK why..Even I installed enb still looks so bad..I already missed my oldrim lul.

You think SE looks bad, go look at unmodded LE. XD  SMIM + Noble Skyrim and your choice of flora mods will have your game looking swanky in no time.  Also use beth ini, it'll fix your ini files right up.  Just a heads up, MO2 has its own ini files, those are the ones you'll need to edit.  Just point bethini at it, and it'll take care of everything.

MO2 is a little more complicated, but well worth it once you get it figured out.  Vortex is also an option if you end up really hating MO2.

Alternatively, if any of you using CBP/CBPC physics for body because you want to save your performance, search and download a HDT-SMP combine compability set, it has a fomod installer which contain older version to the newest one, and already set up to compatible with CBP/CBPC so no manual edit needed .

Hello Vyxenne, just want to ask you one thing if you dont mind:

Im using CBP physics, CBBE SMP config from cbbe site , custom HDT-SMP v1.5.73 that support CBP physics all install using MO2.

My question is am i suppose to delete both defaultBBPs.xml   in both CBBE SMP and HDT SMP mod files , are they obsolete with the exist of CBP  ? Are the others file in CBBE SMP also obsolete ? ( like CBBE.xml ) or they still needed for HDT-SMP to function normally.

All my physics are working fine , but the reason im asking this is because i notice a few heavy FPS drop randomly after having SMP in my game so just wanna be certain about these mods , that's my CBP physics is in charge of all body physics, for performance sake.

I'm not Vyxenne but I think I can help, I have both CBPC and HDT-SMP too, on defaultBBPs.xml you have to edit the BBPs and left it with

Spoiler

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<default-bbps>
</default-bbps>

or if you want floppy SOS (<!-- to --> means is commented section, AKA, in this code only "MaleGenitals" is active), thanks to Vyxenne for this code

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

<default-bbps>
<!--
    <map shape="UUNP" file="SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs\uunp-body.xml"/>
    <map shape="Hands" file="SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs\Hands.xml"/>
    <map shape="Feet" file="SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs\Feet.xml"/>
    <map shape="FemaleHead" file="SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs\Head.xml"/>
-->
    <map shape="MaleGenitals" file="SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs\MaleGenitals.xml"/>
<!--
    <map shape="MaleFeet" file="SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs\MaleFeet.xml"/>
    <map shape="MaleHands" file="SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs\MaleHands.xml"/>
    <map shape="MaleBody" file="SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs\MaleBody.xml"/>
    <map shape="MaleHead" file="SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs\MaleHead.xml"/>
-->
</default-bbps>

This way CBPC manages every physic but MaleGenitals, or Hairs/SMP Clothes/etc; after doing this I had no FPS impact, and my CPU wasn't at like 80°C when playing lol

With this, only the xml used will be DefaultBBPs,xml (or Malegenitals if you wanted Floppy SOS), the other xmls like CBBE.xml, or UUNP.xml, Labia, etc won't be used; but in any case you want to go full SMP again do not delete these files

Do XMLs from LE HDT work for SSE HDT?  The jiggle going on in my game is too strong, and I was hoping to reduce it.

HDT-PE LE to HDT-SMP SE surely not, HDT-SMP LE to HDT-SMP SE, in theory should work but you have to change the .xml code to the code used in SE.

To add, hdtSSEHH is now on 9damao http://www.9damao.net/thread-39231-1-1.html
