Just finished my latest blade! It's a Zweihander, a German sword.

Here's an example of what a Zweihander looks like.

This is one of the biggest things I've ever forged. It's 5 1/2 feet long overall and has a 4 foot long blade forged from a 300 layer damascus billet made from 2 old 10 pound sledgehammer heads. I made the handle from hickory wood that I wrapped in leather and the guard and pommel were made from mild steel. I put a ruby in the bottom of the pommel and inlaid some silver into the guard and pommel for pizazz.

Valerie slashed through a gallon water jug and accidentally cut the table it was on in half. Well, nearly.

Currently planning on restarting my Fallout 4 modding again. Of course, it'll just be me turning settlements into brothels and killing raiders, super mutants, etc for fun. I won't be playing as Shaun's mom, so why the fuck would I care about him? That's someone else's problem. I just want to enjoy the freedom of living in a wasteland and making the Commonwealth more... sexy.?

I figure that magically reanimated skeletons are not actually speaking so much as they warp the air around them to produce sounds, perhaps an offshoot of the 'Voices are Mental' trope. Using magic to produce sound is no more unreasonable than using it to move the support structure of a body independently of a body.

I would go with different times, rather than simpler, as my life is much better than my father's, and my war(s) were much safer than his (Korea and Vietnam).  Your response is interesting since it seems to match my son's philosophy opting to not bother with women, but instead invest in his own self.   Sort of the MGTOW approach.  

 

One of the things I see, though, is a lack of drive.   While this may sound simpish, my quest to get laid in high school led me to work more, which showed me that getting money and having a future were pretty important factors. Of course women were more likely to see potential in a partner and then invest (married for 34 years).    Now according to my highly subjective and likely inaccurate research (youtube), I think that women are not investing, choosing to go for the top 10% because they deserve it or opting for the WGTOW approach and remaining single their entire life.

Sad that mutual Respect, love and Loyalty is not in higher regard over money.

My Grandpa lived in a sod hut in Kansas just before the Dust Bowl kicked off and Grandma was right there with him, he didn't stay there, but that was where he was for a time.

Us old timers and those of us who do not own a cell phone*, don't speak letter abbreviations.

 

*I refuse to pay some billion dollar company 1200 dollars for one and pay to use it every month when I get 1 or 2 calls a month.

Not to go too far into the subject, but stocks don't seem to be based on the underlying company's actual value much anymore.  It's almost like the whole system has been turned into yet another casino.  Realistically, it really is all about "whatever those who are willing to buy or sell think the stock is worth".  As Warren Buffet says (paraphrase) "The whole market is ridiculously overvalued."  Perhaps, but there's a sucker born every minute, and as long as someone is willing to pay market value, that's what it's worth, period.

Ah, that may be so, esp if my wife married me for the money, then the joke is on her.

I think our grand parents and great grand parents married whoever was local, going back to the point that when your selection pool is small, people will settle for less.

There must be a headline with this statement.  As for those who would betray their child to save their life, there are far too many cowards in this world.  Both of us agreed that if there were a fire in our house, I would live along with the rest of my family or die in the fire trying to rescue all of them.

Some parts of the FRY (Former Republic of Yugoslavia) are difficult to sway to a more EU transparent justice system, let alone a US system (in terms of transparency only).   Heck dealing with military leadership is...um.....fun.

Dunno. All I know is Ayn Rand is a bitch. One could argue your way of thinking is rather "woke". I put this in quotations because words are subject to change. I would say better to be awake than asleep but words get distorted and it becomes an ass soap commercial. What am I getting at with this? I just wonder how the companies selling something say feminism influenced your view on things?

I guess if I were to give advice I would say something along the lines of listen to Dora. Master Card no swiping! Master Card no swiping! I should be more serious on the matter but I am just a heartbroken optimist. On a more serious note join a men's rights or men's liberation movement if you wish to make a difference. I'm more biased towards the latter myself given how the patriarchy has historically been an asshole to everyone. That isn't to undermine women's role in enforcing patriarchy or if not patriarchy whatever bullshit system rules the general public. Maybe humanity was a mistake. Join the burn humanity to the ground movement led by yours truly... No takers? Was worth a shot.

 

Some people are happier alone but that means ya'know being alone. Don't get me wrong I think going home to have some alone time is great but that is also something you can communicate with your partner if you have one. Of course this comes at a price of compromise and there is some unpredictability in that. Pick and choose your battles I suppose. I'm curious. What do relationship experts have to say on this?
