When it comes to tennis shoes

I guess I fell short in explaining the use of tennis shoes, People who couldn't handle boots because of issues with their feet wore tennis shoes and were weeded out or assigned a different MOS (job) that didn't require boots or PT (physical training).

We were an ass kicking Outfit at the end of training, a cohesive unit, It was because we were broke of all the issues of "this is how I want to do things" and taught how the Army wanted things done. There is a big difference.

As far as woke goes, I am kinda pissed that the media has taken that to a different level and some use it for sympathy, others for power, still others for manipulation, (Good or Bad)

This is the manipulation I spoke of which equates to Power. Believe me I do not root for that side, but I see the military going soft.

I was in basic in the mid 70's at 17 using Vietnam leftovers and older stuff still. My drill instructor had our complete respect, admiration and loyalty by the end of training!

I respect your opinion, just stating my opinion, nothing more.

Recruitment.

The problem with Recruitment is the simple fact that young people today do not want to work hard or at all from what I can see.

This fact is lamented to me almost everywhere I go, auto parts house, Dr. office, grocery store, I could go on and on but most businesses around here are desperate for help, not good help, anyone who will show up to work at all.

But ya know that's what they said about my generation, "Hippies they just want to sit around and smoke dope, Get a Haircut and get a real job Hippie!"

For one, broken can't always be rebuilt and broken soldiers are no good in war. And two, individuals are individuals no matter how much training you give them and if that bothers you so much use drones not like drones as in office workers but actual mechanical drones. If you're talking about follow the leader mentality there is still no reason to be an asshole about it just follow the leader or deal with the consequences but I'll get back to that later. The old idea of speaking softly with a big stick seems to be lost on the military. For those who don't know what that saying means is that speaking softly means showing respect and the stick means using force as necessary. Of course speaking softly also means speaking softly. The military used to feel the need to overcompensate by yelling at recruits when really just showing them the exit(to paraphrase what you said) is enough. The soldiers really don't need more hearing loss. Maybe in times of the Vietnam draft soldiers were treated more like cannon fodder and those that didn't comply would be punished by being thrown into the brig. Ya-know consequences and all that. Nowadays it would be follow military rules or leave the military. But even if the draft was still in effect there is no need to swear or yell. The video mentioned less soldiers. This just means the military needs to be more efficient dealing with combat encounters and Vietnam is not something I would consider efficient. When it comes to tennis shoes those with cozy military desk jobs don't need much more than that. But again dress for the occasion. If your job requires you to march through snow or deep mud and a certain dumb recruit is complaining about getting snow and shit in their tennis shoes kindly show them the exit. Being woke does not mean quit using common sense. Speaking of woke. People need to know their history and I mean their whole history even the ugly parts and those who are against the idea of woke are trying to censor history in schools. The only logical conclusion is that these people are idiots. I will admit the way I saw the military personnel in the video say the word woke like some spoiled rich person who saw dirt for the first time is well concerning. In the video the sergeants were given rifle training. Something you can never have enough when it comes time for actual combat. Also they were shown leadership skills which also something drill sergeants must exhibit when training their soldiers. This is a good start. To be in the military means to protect your country. If basic human decency is too much for you then you are not fit to protect anyone.

Anyway it was an interesting video.

It was interesting, though again, I have to ask if you are basing your thoughts on what you think the military should be or basing it on what you have seen work in the military?  I am always interested in hearing from those with different perspectives.

Historically with good economic times (low unemployment rates and high starting pay), the military usually suffers.   As we move into more advanced warfare, we need more intelligent and technical savvy individuals.....which have much better offers elsewhere.

Pay for a truck loader working at UPS is $41000/year, while an E-2 is about $30000/year.  That means we will get either children of military veterans (my daughter went into the USAF) but opted to get out after her stint because.....pay and because it wasn't anything more than a desk job and she didn't like the lack of accountability from her fellow airmen and immediate leadership, so you are right to some degree about some people not wanting to work hard.

Finally, as the military lowers standards (as they have in the past when numbers start to get tough), it isn't that people are lazy, but more people are out of shape, requiring more than two months of hand holding to get them to pass the fitness test, but many are unable or unwilling to go through hardship, even if it is temporary.

People are not going to be willing to give their lives for their nation if they are both conditioned to hate the nation in which they live and to see no higher value than their own sense of satisfaction.

You both bring up Good Points. I am going to play the Old guy that I am...Bah, boots on the ground, that's how you win wars, Boots on the ground.

Maybe things need changing, say like a country that requires service as part of being a Citizen of said country. (like an unnamed middle east country)

I was gonna type something but.....  gets too close to political, so.....I will sum it up by saying "no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country, he won it by making the other poor bastard die for his"

Oh this generation (the Gen Zers) have those that are willing, but they have better offers elsewhere and the "honor" of serving is being diluted by lowering standards to reach recruitment numbers.

when you can take Death away from war two things happen, one you will become very wealthy. two the bombs and delivery systems get very costly.

Life has never been at a premium in the services till the 80's rolled around. Look at WW2 , Korea, and Vietnam.

A squad's total life cost in dollars is way cheaper than some bomb systems, unfortunately that is how it's viewed at times.

You young people sure do have a different point of view for sure. Not saying your right or I'm right, just saying.

The only real way to keep your troops alive is to have No wars and I really don't see that happening any time soon.

I vaguely remember Sparta was one of if not the best ass kicking outfits out there but even then they were overwhelmed by numbers. Maybe Sparta shouldn't have killed all those babies. What kind of media do you mind me asking? If you're talking about commercials I absolutely get ya. I still remember how dumb that women's ass soap commercial was.

Probably the former. The military is kind of an odd duck to "civilized" society. Also soldiers at some point need to return to "civilized" society. How will they be when they return? When I watched the video I was like "sounds about right". I do believe the army does not need any fancy language(Gods I'm sounding like an old person) to whip their soldiers into shape. I also believe there is no need to yell(or maybe I've been watching too many gangster movies) but maybe combat training is the exception as the real thing will be noisy and chaotic.

But at the end of the day it is just me and my wandering thoughts.

There was a massively Negative stigma attached to that whole process.

A man and a girl wearing black robes.. They could have been a clear warning to the personnel of this base. Just for the record, the clothes showed in the first episode are kind of showcase / in the style of the fallen jedi and sith.

Something tells me that setting women in a spotlight is crucial for this series, which is the sequel to Star Wars: Rebels.? What attracts the viewer to the screen more than the sight of sexy woman in spectacular actions?? (in a broad sense) I think that female characters are a driving force in movies, books, blogs, and so on.? They attracts viewers both genders with her force, called sex appeal.? In my understanding, sexappeal is something special.. Something that's not limited only to the external appearance of a woman. Of course, this is just my point of view with which no one has to agree. :P

P.S.
I apologise that I haven't been clear before.. My point was that you wait until the last episode of this season before giving your final verdict.? The next one should appear tomorrow if everything goes according to Disney's plan.?

Never watched Ahsoka so I can't agree or disagree with that statement. As for production I wouldn't be surprised if somebody cries out sexual harassment. In general you are right about the need for balance. Sometimes the patriarchy(Not to say only men but many women as well) use female rights as an excuse to bully minority groups. I remember a history book detailing how black men were treated as sexual predators out to rape "your" woman when really that wasn't the case. It needs to be explicitly clear what one means when they say women's rights so as not to interfere with men's rights to live an honest life.  At the same time it needs to be explicitly clear what one means when they say men's rights so as not to interfere with a woman's right to live an honest life and also so poor Ken doesn't think it means men worshipping horses. Great movie by the way.

As for ruling just give the job to the person most competent in doing government paperwork.:classic_dodgy:

Just my thoughts on the matter.

Where is this porn-concept "stepmom / stepson" coming from?

Is this normal US based porn that kicked off very good, or is it coming from "East Asia" cultures?

I'm curious. It seems to far off to be popular in american / oldschool porn. More like they adopted the concept.

Well, here I am. I'm back. After deleting my account and being gone for a bit, I overcame, at least most, of my stress problems. I managed to convince my girlfriends to let me come back, because they were worried that modding was creating too much stress for me. I smashed my old keyboard when a mod wouldn't work, so I guess their concerns were justified. I just got ownership of my mods back, so that's nice. So, yeah. Glad to be back!

The only other thing I can say is that I'm now in a 4 way relationship. It's now me, Kalyna, Babydoll, and Valerie. Valerie is so sweet, and has the same dominant personality as Kalyna and Babydoll, though Kalyna is still the main dom. Either way, sex is now even more fun! I now have 3 sadistic women pounding me in bed!

Both, though I won't be modding to the same extent I did before. To be honest, the only reason I really modded was primarily to make games into immersive porn games. Early on, I was all about modding games to make them the way I wanted, as in tweaking quests and what not, but now I just care for sex mods. Call me a horny girl, but that's the truth.
