Now I lead less stressful days, I know everything is going down the drain, I just don't give a shit anymore...

It's largely because of people like you that the situation is deteriorating.

Ok, go... Change the world!

But it is dangerous to go alone! Here, take this:

First They Came – Pastor Martin Niemöller

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

An alternative to what @Grey Cloud posted, one that may appeal to those who just wish to do their own thing.

(Yes, I know this is derived from a poem by Dr. Kent Keith, but I like this Mother Theresa version better:)

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered.  Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.  Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies.  Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.  Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight.  Create anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous.  Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, will often be forgotten.  Do good anyway.

Give the best you have, and it will never be enough.  Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God.  It was never between you and them anyway.

'The whole house shook' - Earthquake felt in South Wales

Some people got away with only the living room and parts of the bathroom shaking.

The news reader in this could have done with some new batteries. She . . . . . . talks . . . . . like . . . . . this.

Oh dear - oh dear

never was a poem more wrong than this for today's situation

my democratically elected government - consisting of parties - whose members, as the poem describes it, would have gone to concentration camps - supports a regime...
...which persecutes and bans parties from the same political spectrum in their country
and
as the highest state doctrine the worship of a fascist of the purest kind - anchored in the state constitution - operates!

And why all this?
Because the "big brother" from the west bank of the big "pond" called "Atlantic" wants it that way.

And the fascists in my home country dance with joy every day on the table - because the elected "democrats" play into their hands so much.

I see you've been there and got the T-shirt.

I prolly won't write this right... But I follow my trains of thought, so here goes...

Subway ranters, youtube bloggers and I all have one thing in common, we talk way too much, to sublimate the regrets, the nagging guilt.

PTSD (sort of).

Commercials on TV become soothing...

In one word: subtext.

There's a buttload of it in a movie called "The Barefoot Contessa" and I made the cardinal mistake of complimenting someone at a party who wasn't wearing any shoes, because of the cute name of the movie, or so I thought.
How the hell did I know that the actress I was talking to was very well aware of the tragic story of a suicidal woman with a gay husband?

I think I had to google most of that, the actual movie says he was injured in the war.

Well, anyway, saying stuff, not saying stuff....Become an expert on human nature or die alone (unless you're incredibly hot, then forget I said anything)

Startrek is for boomers man... I mean, not that being old is bad but this is not the reason of why you still try to like those horrible stuff...

I know what you want...

You want to feel like BACK IN THE DAY, when you were young, and you watched or read startrek shit like it was WOW, so new, so different and you enjoyed it while you drank a coke on a hot day on summer, school was months away and the only thing you had was time to have fun, it was so awesome... And you thought to yourself, this is GREAT! And it was! It was the best time of your life!

And now you want to watch it and feel that again but you NEVER felt that again, it is the very same reason that people want to play Retro games again as a 30's or 40's guy... I understand that because I did that! But then... I realized the sad truth that those GREAT TIMES won't come back again just because I am watching new old stuff or replay the old games just to feel that again and I (you,WE) didn't feel that again ever... Bc we grew up... That's the truth...

Yeah... It is a shame, we have to build new shit to feel happy with our age instead of trying to relive old shit bc that doesn't work...

Turning old is awesome because you start to understand the world, not that understanding the world is always good... Like one of those shit you understand is realizing that some shit you liked was not because you really liked but it was because of the time of your life that you liked... It is sad but at the same time it is beautiful in a "mature" way...

Are you talking OTA (free) TV? Cuz I watch what they have on.

"Farscape"
"Match Game"

And any one of a zillion cop shows (I avoid the westerns)

And Yeah, Janeway And Fish-face and "Kes" help pass time and keep the creepy feelings away (psychoanalyst dogs with bad wigs)

Sometimes I keep forgetting how wrong I am and I need to *gasp* talk to people.

If for some reason you can't or don't want to watch the video by Sebastian Ruiz then here is the summary:

Everybody is wrong except for me. No wait I'm wrong too. Well here is my unpopular opinion:

Buy a game or don't. It is just an opinion but at the same time trust your gut on this. There are multiple factors when considering a game or any product in general. One is the quality of the product or rather if it suits your wants and or needs. For games it is things like visuals, gameplay, writing, pricing and even interactions with the seller. Interactions with the seller can extend to something posted on a social media sites like Facebook or Twitter. If for any reason a game puts you off don't buy it. If the game doesn't put you off do buy it. At the end of the day whatever you do your actions have consequences online and offline. What you post on the internet stays on the internet forever. Basically what that weird high-school teacher keeps warning you about. Don't like it? Cry me a river~

Now excuse me while I question some of my life choices...
