Bad Dog Posted May 26, 2018 Author Posted May 26, 2018 Some, ya. The females didn't have the right specular in earlier versions, that's fixed now. They still look rather like black holes in bad light. I'm liking how a crow race I'm working on is looking and I'll probably retrofit that style back to the panthers when I get there.

Been a while since I played and not sure what got changed.
Chronushadow Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 So ive had this mod working for a while, made a new character ran into some issues that required some uninstalling and reinstalling and its made me run into a weird bug. The npcs are all normal, but in character creation (im using racemenu for xpmse) a few races, specifically orcs and dremora have the faces of their standard vanilla counterparts, at least the basic mesh. Theyve got the right skeletons and all with the digigrade feet and when I look in creation kit it looks right so im thinking its a load order but ive put YA as low as I could for troubleshooting and no results...not sure what ive done differently this time that I didnt do the first time to cause this. Bad Dog Posted May 26, 2018 Author Posted May 26, 2018 Oh, man. You got troubles. Dunno what you did with your cleanup, but my guess is your install's a mess. You've got the Lungari in there twice--unless you're loading that as a separate mod you shouldn't have Lungari at all anymore, and not twice in any case. Lykaios should be there once only. Maybe cruft in your scripts files? The head indicates you have the right textures but it's picking the wrong head mesh, which suggests a load order problem. Something post-YA must be changing the references. Post your load order if you like, but I think you need major cleanup. Now would be a good time to switch to MO.
Chronushadow Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Alright, the second...im not sure where it came from in all honesty. Ill purge the data folder and re-install it from the ground up. Im running NMM and LOOT but those things didnt help much. Ill letcha know after I get everything reinstalled if that fixes it.
Bad Dog Posted May 27, 2018 Author Posted May 27, 2018 NMM can get confused. It's happy if you deinstall things in the exact reverse order that you installed them. Otherwise if there are conflicting files it's likely to lose its shit. MO keeps things clean.
Chronushadow Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Not sure what the problem was but after fully removing everything and reinstalling it all from scratch its working correctly now. I have no idea what in the world caused that issue still though but the second lungaris race came from a merge file so that I could tweak some of the npcs, that was an easy fix by just disabling the original. Same with the lykaios and such only with them it was the normal race mod for them id had before and YA causing duplicates. Either way its fixed, dont know what the problem was still. ._.
Rockat Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 @Bad Dog Is there going to be a patch for the newer non-hidden male&female variants of Drachis Argonians?https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75826? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76127? The male version apparently has SOS support already BTW. 1

Bad Dog Posted June 2, 2018 Author Posted June 2, 2018 Yeah, pretty much completely different. Drachis is back up on Nexus, btw. I'd be willing to make a patch for it. I did try to make a patch for FAR but that mod has so many options I think I got confused. I ended up with a patch that didn't really look any different.
Plasmaxyz Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 Im having trouble getting the animations to work. Whenever an animation starts, the 2 characters just stand on top of each other while the sound plays. Like this When I run FNIS i get the following error: >>Warning: Generator V7.4.5 and FNISBase V6.3 have different versions<< Yet after that I see: 2383 animations for 7 mods successfully included (character). 835 animations for 2 mods and 33 creatures successfully included.. How would I go about solving this?
wilhelmvonstrumm Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 I will apologize at first since I don't know if anyone had the same issue... but I just can't get this to work, and I'm not sure why. I reinstalled Skyrim with Dragonborn, HearthFire, and Dawnguard installed, and I did my best to install all of the mods in the correct order. The start-up screen shows the Yiffy age of Skyrim, but when I load the game, it doesn't show any furry characters, the male sexy dress stuff isn't there (the female ones are there though) and the SOS isn't working just right. The gag that was on Ulfric's face is a nuzzle though, which I figured would work if he was a wolf. I used Nexus Mod Manager to install all of the stuff. It did ask me if I wanted to overwrite certain files. I figured if I overwrote them in the right order it wouldn't matter. I guess I was wrong. I haven't played Skyrim in years and I wanted to come back to it and pump up the mods like I did with Oblivious and Morrowind in the past. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong here? What information do you need me to show you.

pyroking101 Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 I need some help, I don't know if this is going to be seen by anyone, but every time I try to start a sexlab animation, the actors just stand there, the audio works, but the animation doesn't. I think it has something to do with the digitigrade legs

I'll give you the complete list of my mods in their order in NMM. Skyrim.esm Update.esm Dawnguard.esm Hearthfires.esm Dragonborn.esm Racecompatibility.esm Sexlab.esm Schlongs of Skyrim - core.esm Baddogschlongcore.esm skyui_SE.esp FNIS.esp Schlongs of Skyrim.esp Sexy Armor replacer patch.esp SOS - revealing Armors.esp BDSkimpyClothes.esp Footprints.esp YiffyAgeConsolidated.esp YiffyageSchlongs.esp I don't have the SOS shop or Smurf average addon activated. If this isn't the right order, what order should they be in? I did my best to install them in the recommended order.
Bad Dog Posted June 3, 2018 Author Posted June 3, 2018 @wilhelmvonstrumm now would be a good time to switch to Mod Organizer. NMM is good but can get confused when you have a lot of mods with overlapping files. Go to the S.T.E.P guide and follow their rules for installing and setting up MO and in the long run you'll be much happier. As for what's happening--you have things loading in the wrong order. If you installed everything in the right order (telling NMM to overwrite files is fine, it's what you have to do) then your ESPs are probably in the wrong order. They should match the load order in the OP.
Kestrix Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 I just wanted to share these since I decided to touch up the weight painting on them before working on a few others. They are for female khajiit/races that use khajiit for hairs. Wanda Traveler Peggy 4997 Her eye texture isn't currently available since well I'm lazy and haven't finished implementing it in game. It was inspired by my mod I did for my TERA elin. 3
Nocturnefoxx Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 So, you know how the beast races have long necks? I know you can use Racemenu to shorten the PCs neck, but is there a way to shorten NPC necks without having to delve into the CK with NIFS and all that?
Bad Dog Posted June 4, 2018 Author Posted June 4, 2018 Dunno. Didn't know racemenu had a setting for that. I suppose you can edit the skeleton?

PcPaper Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Hey there! The discussion for this mod has 147 pages and I've spent most of my morning going through the first 20 or so searching for "human" and only seeing things about tweaking hairs to fit furries. I am a weirdo who REALLY likes furry x human. Has it been determined if there is a way to use this mod but still have 1 human race included somehow? Also from a storytelling standpoint, being a minority creature (human) in a world full of anthro-animals would be hella fun. Please don't bite my head off for asking something that was asked earlier. I searched, I couldn't find a direct answer. Please just answer if you know. Thank you ❤️

Thank you ❤️ The only way to do that, would be to use a custom race which needs to use all custom assets, due to the fact that Yiffy Age replaces a lot of vanilla ones to fit the changed races. This could either apply to playing as that custom race, or using a custom race that adds NPCs/Followers.
Blaze69 Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 57 minutes ago, PcPaper said: [...] Basically what Kuroyami said. Creating alternate version(s) of YA with some vanilla races left as human/elves has been discussed a few times already and we've stated it's not going to happen, because it would take too much work and wouldn't be really worth it due to the practically non-existant demand for it. Your best bet is to use a custom human/elven race for your character. But note that it has to fulfill two main requirements: It uses "DefaultRace" as its ArmorRace aka what race it uses as a reference to tell the game what armor meshes to load. This is because all of the vanilla races like Nord and Imperial have been edited to point to beast versions of the items, so whatever race you use needs to point to DefaultRace instead (which still points to human meshes in YA for this very reason). Pretty much no custom race mods tell you what ArmorRace they used, but you can check it out (and change it) using xEdit; alternatively, if you test it ingame and it gets beast meshes for boots and helmets, you will know it's not compatible. You use 100% custom head parts for your character. All the vanilla hairs, eyes, beards, etc. are edited by YA to point to beast versions instead, so you need some custom human/elven ones that have not been edited for your character. Doesn't matter if they come included with the race or they are from other mods (i.e. custom eye mods, Apachii, KS, other hair mods). If you didn't understand anything of what I said in the two points above, I'm afraid you are probably out of luck and should do some research on Skyrim modding before you try to get it setup. Otherwise, you should be able to figure it out with the above information. Good luck ?.

Considering that I don't have a reading comprehension issue, and I do have enough understanding of modding in general, that shouldn't' be a problem. Thank you for the extra information on how to do this. It will help. One can only search through so many pages on a 140+ page topic for the word "human", finding only statements about refitting parts before giving up and outright asking in hopes someone would supply an answer they may have missed in the pages beyond the ones they looked at. I appreciate the answers.
