I've been testing, and the newest version seems to have a compatibility issue with Deviously Enchanted Chests. If installed at the same time, it won't register DEC-menu. If I do get them at the same time, it halts the latter ones functions, as in chests will never have traps on them.

As far as the new patch goes... I was wondering how you are supposed to escape the armbinder if you can not struggle or use dialogue...

Thanks for this mod. I have not been able to get Devious devices to work at all on NPCs for a LONG time, and have had no luck finding out why. (even with a bare bones load order) Your mod at least lets me get around that, and is pretty neat all around.

Has there been any kind of list created yet in which mods that used to use this breaking because of the re-naming and many more devices added in patch 2.0 I think it was?

I am guessing you have made some new toys that are rather stubborn? I have a set for v4 of CD for people who go looking where they shouldn't.

I did, but then @Princessity said not to if I want to keep them generic for other mods to use, so I reverted everything back to DDi generic (removed all custom scripts) as of DDe 2.11.

 

But, I added lots of MCM options that when checked, could make any armbinder impossible to remove without Master's help. :P

 

During testing I've already got stuck in one (forgot to uncheck Hardcore option), so I had to run to the shop and have Master free me.

1- they are custom textured set that no other CD items use

2- there is only 1 way to get them, it is something you have to actively do and you are not forced/asked/tricked into getting them

3- they will break quests from other mods as well as mine

4- they only work as a set and there are warnings with them

5- using the console or other methods to remove them will not work, they will return (and is why they are quest breaking)

6- they are considered a gifft from a cursed god though there is a slim (super slim) change they may be removed

7- other than the cursed god removing them there is no way set up in game to remove them

 

The textures were made for a future quest but I made a set of them in the CK and decided to do something evil with them.

So when the save loads, DDe says that DDi and DDx can't be found or are out of date. I'm running DDe 2.11, DDi 1.92 and DDx 1.23, and I've redownloaded and reinstalled all three mods several times now. Wondering what in particular is wrong. Papyrus Log attached.Thanks in advance :D

A question on the refresh timer. Does that deactivate if the armbinder is set to Nothing.

 

The reason I ask is that I only use DDe for POP so I have all the rest switched off, so an extra timer is just adding to processing overhead for me

I understand.

 

Yes if you set the armbinder effect to 'Nothing' there will be no timer or any of the effects applied, even if all the effects are checked.

DDe 2.12, well that is more like it.

Also, a better word than 'Nothing' would be 'Disabled' to describe that the armbinder effects are disabled. ;)
