So I just upgraded DD Equip to version 1.73, and now every time I load a game I get error messages telling me that DD Integration and Expansion are outdated or missing - even though I have the latest versions of both installed. Checking Equip's MCM, it registers both of them as 'installed' on the Other Mods tab, but under Debug, the versions listed for DDi and DDx are both 0.000. Any ideas what I've missed?
Inte Posted March 6, 2016 Author Posted March 6, 2016 Sounds like a problem with your DDi/DDx install/download. Check DDi MCM - if something is amiss, Uninstall DDi/DDx. Delete DDi/DDx download. Download DDi/DDx afresh. Install DDi/DDx afresh. If all good in DDi MCM do the above for DDe. No go? I need a DDe log.

Princessity Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Ooooh I finally got to test the wooden device variant! It looks so dope! I love it <3 But I think there's an issue with your custom boots. When taken off, they seem to lower character's height twice. I investigated a little and found the culprit: Your ScriptInstance boots still have the hdt script attached. You need to remove it from all your boots, as of the last Expansion update HDT high heels is no longer supported by Devious Devices and any DD mods that still use it should switch to NiOverride's system (no scripts required). Also do you think you could register your custom colour variants as generic devices? ^^ Assuming that they all use the same slots and keys as standard devices. I'm working on a small Devious Captures update and I'd love to add support for more colour/material variants. Oh! Also I just noticed you're not in the new development conversation so I invited you. You should take a look at the last couple of pages, we've been discussing some things that may be relevant to you n_n

Some elements (padlocks, rivets, gag strap) show the missing texture purple Also speaking of the wooden items... I... don't think I like the new texture :C It's an okayish option for the people who like it but could we have the old one back please? I really loved the old one.
Inte Posted March 27, 2016 Author Posted March 27, 2016 Although that purple looks like the missing textures purple, it is an actual purple texture form ZAP 6.1. I like purple, but looking at it more, it is a bit immersion breaking especially on wood devices. I liked the old wood texture as well, unfortunately @xaz has taken it away. It was part of ZAP 6.0. Maybe I can ask @ZaZ if we can have it back, and if you'll back me up @ZaZ will have no choice.

Somebody might just steal your PC for all those expensive devices she is wearing. What is an Inox. Is it some kind of ore? I am with Princesity, I too liked the old wood device better, I think the termites of Skyrim did too. I like the new POP 8b too. I think the POPBH should spawn and protect my PC everytime I equip those expensive DDe devious devices on her. One more thing, all those expensive DDe devices cost the same as the old ones? Shouldn't they be, I don't know - no more expensive? Thank you for your work.

It happens because the shiny texture is assigned on the metal part when it should have the golden one. I have fixed it and while I was at it I "created" a blocking golden harness. Regards.

Hm ... that gives me an idea for a quest. Someone steals your PC while bound and helpless in those expensive DDs, and you have to take control of a willing NPC say Vilkas to get your PC back.

The whole golden harness looked like inox whith golden rings, the textures and metal names are reversed. The metal texture affects the harness and the harness one the rings and rivets.

Inte Posted March 27, 2016 Author Posted March 27, 2016 Just look at all the other gold devices - say the armbinder, posture collar - same thing there, the main body of the armbinder has a gold tint whereas the inserts are inox. They look way better that way, instead having everything gold.

Trying again I have found that the golden and the inox one are reversed. Equiping the golden shows an inox harness whith gold rings and equipping the inox shows a golden harness with inox rings. Please, try it on game with your own esp.

They show the other way arround and I have found why, the base mesh from expansion has the names for the harness and metal parts switched. With your esp the golden has golden rings and inox harness and the inox inox rings and gold harness because you did right assigning the textures to the names but the mesh parts names are switched so the textures end up switched. Just try your esp in-game and you'll see.
