Sorry, but when you update or reset DDe it defaults back to hardcore. Can't have you escape that easy now, could I?

If your PC is wearing any devious devices, some options will become grayed out; to make escape harder.

Sure I understand that, but why would you ever remove administrator features and settings from the player? Using devious devices is a voluntary thing right, otherwise I wouldn't have installed them, but to deny me resetting a setting which changed because of an update is wrong don't you think?

Look, just make sure no DDs are equipped before an update or a reset. Then uncheck the hardcore option. After that you can remove any DDs you want.

Actually, that's the thing, no mod equipped them, DDe equipped them because I voluntarily put them on knowing I could if need be take them off using DDe. Otherwise why would I be using DDe?

If you dare to back out right then and go back to the page, the option is gone, replaced with "Hardcore mode", leaving you unable to end the session. Or have I missed something obvious here?

Make sure to uncheck the 'Hardcore mode' in 'Setup' page before you start. That option has a mind of its own and keeps enabling itself after an DDe reset or update, just ask @dTd.

I don't know if there's any more details to give. They both install normally, don't seem to overwrite anything. Problems rise in-game when all events from DEC won't do anything if DDE is installed.

 

And if I may annoy you with the basic dumb question - exactly what file should I share, as in the log?

Hey, love the plug effects!  A couple of questions and one suggestion on future options:

 

• What does "Effects Linked" exactly do?
• What is the difference between "Training" and "Magically Sensitive"?
• If I have both "Lively" and "Very Lively" checked to "Both", does "Very Lively" take precedence?
• What does "Possessed!" do?
• Does "Shock Stimulation" cause the plugs to vibrate on a shocking piercings event, or does it do something else?  If not, which event causes this?

 

Finally a feature request:  Can you add an option in whereby in order for an event to occur, both the anal and the vaginal plugs need to be inserted?  For example, I could have "Lively" on just a vaginal or anal plug, but "very lively" when both are in.  (Unless this is what "Effects Linked" is trying to accomplish?  But even then I'd like to see it per event type, rather than globally applied to all events).

Right,

1. Effects linked will, link all the applicable effects that can trigger on each event, i.e. vibes + stamina drain for all devices.
2. Training is exactly like 'Magically Sensitive' except with 'Training' every 7 days or so they will start very strong vibes that will last several game hours and orgasms. The effect is cumulative.
3. No, they will be chosen at random.
4. 'Possessed' will pick random effects every trigger event.
5. Shock stimulation will trigger ... well a shock stimulation at the end of every vibe event.

So I have a problem with DDe that when boots are added to me or my followers, it doesn't adjust the height automatically, causing the boots to clip through the floor because they are on default heigh like they have vanilla armor boots on.

 

Well I asked over in the Devious Cursed Loot and they  said to install  NiOverride but I already have racemenu 3.4.5 installed which I assume had NiOverride already included so I'm trying to figure this out as to why the boots used by DDe aren't adjusting to the heel height they should be.
