onikujo Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 I see people mentioned pillory coloration, but mine just flat doesn't appear? I do the animation, and scenes go off fine, but it's like I'm just bent over for no reason. I have the latest versions of this, PO, xaz, etc.
Inte Posted July 14, 2016 Author Posted July 14, 2016 Do you see the pillories in the cities? Or do they disappear only in scenes? If so, try resetting the animation registry in SL.
Harry Smackmeat Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 In Riften, the jail master didn't have the key to get in. I had to unlock the door using the console every time I tested it there. Also, once I got whipped in my cell while I was in first person view and afterward I was frozen in place like something invisible was caging me. I tried sprinting and I was just running in place.
Monkito Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Sounds like the scripts don't fire. Bad download? Delete everything and re-download/install. If using MO, check settings. No go? I need log. Hi. I deleted everything, redownloaded V33Fix and Patch 8g again, installed normal with NMM ( installation seems fine ). Still no PoP messages. Force restart also doesnt do anything. Sry but i have to ask how to get the log ? Like in here. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/22241-support-troubleshooting-guide-read-me-before-posting-here/?p=549438 Also make sure logging is enabled in POP MCM. It is working again. Reinstalled again ( dont know 5 or 6th times, ) but now it works Btw, how i can trigger the major event ? Minor works fine, but when i try major via menu the messaged pops up, there is no actor for it.
mitiok18 Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Please tell me how to use the console command to arrest the PC to load POP arrest. ..a then after binding often throws in a vanilla prison
Guest Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 the first time they put me in prison always right after they open the gate immediately to do some sort of event I wish there was a wait time before the first event. Like I am arrested, then I am placed in cell, choose to rape me before they close the door or close the door and wait 3 hours before event takes place.
Inte Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 sorry.. where in the MSM? I did not notice this It's in the PO menu, I believe under 'Debug'. Walk up to a NPC until 'Talk (NPC name)' appears. Then go into the PO MCM and hit 'Trigger Major Arrest'.
Code Serpent Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Inte, would you mind telling me how you or xaz managed to disable the "Serve Time" message when sleeping in a jail cell? More specifically, I'm trying to start one of my new play-throughs with spending a week or so in Cidhna Mine after the forsworn conspiracy quest. However I found that it's impossible to sleep in Cidhna Mine without getting the "Serve Time" message. I even spawned in a noble bed, and tried using it, and that message still showed up.
Inte Posted July 17, 2016 Author Posted July 17, 2016 By not starting the vanilla prison quest at all.
Code Serpent Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 So, I forget, is there an option for this mod to handle the Cidhna Mine quest?
bicobus Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 I asked this very question earlier, and the only way for it to happens is by ticking an option in the MCM menu. The reason behind it is the quest related to the jail. However, I don't believe you'll ever enter cidna mine if your crimes are handled by prison overhaul.
Slorm Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Yes, that's right. I you use the POP option for Markarth you'll be taken to the Jailers Place not Cidhna
majorfreak Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 anyone else using mod organizer that has convenient horses with prison overhaul? i'm getting a strange error popping up where it asks me to put the former before the latter and then a while latter asking the opposite (left pane)
chymaera Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Yes, that's right. I you use the POP option for Markarth you'll be taken to the Jailers Place not Cidhna Same goes for the Chill, right? (Haven't tried it out yet, but I saw the option) Quick question: how does POP Patches or PO itself work with mods that add prisoners to the jails?

(Haven't tried it out yet, but I saw the option) Quick question: how does POP Patches or PO itself work with mods that add prisoners to the jails? Yes, it's the same for Winterhold. I think with prisoners it will depend on the mod. I use Interesting NPC's (3DNPC) v9 and never had any any problems but I'd imagine a mod may cause a problem if a prisoner was dropped in the way of the Jailer, guards or pc mucking up the pathing or if it changed the interior layout. Only way to be sure is to try it and see.
Slorm Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 @Inte I had an idea for a future upgrade, or a separate mod maybe. I think more jail time is a good thing, and as the Dovahkiin is running around sticking her nose into everyone's business I would have thought some people (crooks, politicians, bandits etc) would be getting pissed off and "fit up" the pc with a bounty. So, what I had in mind was: 1/ Every x number of days there is a roll against a chance a bounty is applied to the pc (both can be specified i.e. the numbers of days and the percentage chance) 2/ The bounty is applied to a single random hold 3/ The upper and lower limit of the bounty can be specified and the bounty applied is a random amount in the range 4/ Modifiers to increase the chance of a bounty can be set for membership of the Thieves Guild or DB (on the basis the pc would have a lot more enemies, though this can just as well be handled by the player just upping the chance in 1/) 5/ The pc has no warning when it happens (until the BH's come a calling if a hold bounty is high enough ) without checking crime stats No particular crime needs to be specified as the mechanism is purely to get more bounties into the game to give the pc an "Interesting" surprise. I've had a little play around using pseudocode and it looks straightforward (hopefully it would be in papyrus as well) but I'm not clear how that would link to CK (I assume as a quest maybe?)
Slorm Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Bug Report Dawnstar jailer is taking pc to Falkreath for pillory scene. It seems to be happening every time, log attached (first 140 lines or so are the game loader) Papyrus.0.log EDIT: Got it working again with a Force Restart

It seems to be happening every time, log attached (first 140 lines or so are the game loader) Papyrus.0.log Let's see, Which version of PapyrusUtil are you using? Because it is missing a function I am using, namely 'FormListPluck'. Without this function your POPBHs will never get deleted. Maybe that's why they just hang around your game, not fearing the Langoliers. I turned off 'GoToMarker()' calls in log - unnecessary log spam. A leftover from testing. I've added another pillory clearing function to make sure the pillories from the previous arrest are cleared. @Inte I had an idea for a future upgrade, or a separate mod maybe. Slorm Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 It's papyrus 28 (SL1.59c). I've not had any problems with BH's recently though, that seems fixed now, once I cleared the old ones out. Dawnstar has always been a bit iffy through all the POP versions and often seems to need a reset. Also it's the only jail I can guarantee a MS runtime error the first time I'm in there and it does seem to give other odd effects (like Falkreath pillory) as well. It sounds like 3/ in your post will sort it out though and as Falkreath was the last place I was arrested so it makes sense that a reset clears it. All the other jails work perfectly, there's just something about Dawnstar that's odd.
PubliusNV Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 FYI, I have Papyrus 3.2, and patch 3g, and despite the fact that I have bounty hunters turned off in the MCM, bounty hunters showed up outside Whiterun. Two of them have stayed outside the gate, and one has moved inside and is using the smithing stations. I have to admit that I started this game with patch 3f, but I've had Papyrus 3.2 the whole time.
Inte Posted July 25, 2016 Author Posted July 25, 2016 Wait, you have POP 3g? If you have the BHs turned off in the MCM, yes 3 of them (no more) will be hanging around Whiterun - for immersion.
Slorm Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Dawnstar, that no horse town! Hmm Vaermina's there, maybe that's why they're trying to go to Falkreath
