That option does work for major and minor crimes.

My thinking was that violent crimes forcing a harsher sentence by forcing that option on, would be more immersive.

Fair enough, but I still think it should be a toggleable option, for those who would prefer the option, regardless if it is major or minor crime. If its a major crime, and you toggle hardcore off, it ignores it, which is a weird design choice.

hello Inte, sorry for my english, i´m new in this skyrim modded world, does the addons for the original prison overhaul works on this version?, i would like to play the crucifixion addon from nooblet, but idk how to, if there´s no way, an addon to implement crucifixions to this mod has been released?.

When I try to clear my bounty with thane status, guard says "we look the other way" but not actually clearing bounty at all and goes "wait I know you" thing again

So I might have already posted this earlier, but I can't find it for the life of me within the 200+ pages of posts, so here goes again.  I'm having some pretty major bugs with this mod.  ZAP animations just won't play, afterwards the guard will say the first line of dialogue but then stop talking, leaving me stuck on the ground.  Previously got the guard to work by disabling/enabling via console commands, but he cannot be disabled for some reason.  Installing devious equip in the hopes that might fix the problem.  seem to recall some tweaking in the sexlab animations settings also helped, but i don't remember.  Weird thing is that i've never had these problems on previous install of skyrim with mostly the same mod setup.

No, that option already works. Your captor's killer should trigger SD+.

I haven't been a Thane in a very long time, but when I was, that option worked correctly.

I recently updated to the last version, I just started a new game, and I'm having some oddities with this new version, first some of the info that is supposed to show, I think is on the system menu, is not showing, like the mod version, etc.

 

And for some reason Hardcore mode is being forced no matter if I have it unchecked on the mcm menu, I tried enabling and disabling again just to check if for some reason it was stuck and not showing, but it doesn't work, I need Hardcore mode to be disabled because I'm using Survival mods and my character needs to sleep, eat, drink... So is there a console code that can help me here??? to disable Hardcore mode???

I've been having this same problem too. And I have that mod installed. A work around that I've been using is to save, quit, and reload. 

But the biggest mod breaking issue I've been having is that the Jailer will come to get me, take me out of the cell. And then just stand there. I can't move far without getting rubberbanded back. I've tried all sorts of things. And nothing has worked.

Make sure SUM's scripts are installed correctly. 

SUM's System page should look like this.

The hardcore mode will switch itself on for violent crimes. However, your PC should be able to eat and sleep after each cell punishment.

1. You can try walking away from the jailer.

2. Move the jailer to your PC.

3. Select your PC in the SUM's MCM.

4. Hit your SUM AI hotkey and choose 'Force AI'.

5. If no go, the scene is broken.

6. Hit your SUM AI hotkey and choose 'Restart Scene'.

7. If no go, then the only solution is to reload a previous save.

I have a relatively new game, based on a prior one, LO etc, in which POP ran faultlessly, to which I have added some other mods that I have not used before - in partic DEC and SLSurvival - and POP imprisonmnet has now gone very glitchy.  

 

I am having an almost endless cycle of POP trying to arrest the PC, the dialogue appearing, but nothing subsequently happening, getting an arrest where the guards then stop talking, and occasional 'location search' failure

 

Looking through the log  (which is partlky compromised by the PC starting under SD+ enslavement, but being freed near the end), I see this message appearing around about the time the POIP guard is trying to initiate an arrest

 

[09/09/2020 - 12:37:07AM] _SLS_: [_SLS_GuardWarnApproachTimeout <_SLS_GuardWarnWeapDrawnDetectionQuest (ED095EE1)>] is stopped

 

Now, the log shows that there's a whole heap of things going on around about that point that might slow things down - Slavetats particularly - but what I was mainly wondering was if SLS terminating the guard dialogue might inadvertently stop that of POP's arrestiung guard?

 

Is that possible, or am I just doing my non techie thing of making 2+2 = 5?

EDIT:  SLS also does some other dialogue blocking.  This doesn't sound quite the same, but would any similar dialogue blocking affect POP?

 

 

EDIT 2:  I do have Defeat's 'send a defeated PC to jail' option enabled - from the 'added on' Post Combat Outcomes in the Defeat 5.3.5 Bane version.  Would that cause any problem?  I see that there are a lot of references to what seems to be Defeat calming NPCs, at times when those would seem to relate to possibly Defeat related punchups in the guards' barracks

Yes, your log shows the short arrest scene starting and then getting interrupted. But, this is only shown once. The location search failing is not even shown in the log. 

Try using the regular arrest scene (it has more debug options printed to log) and let it go through a couple of loops.

Yes, POP is using a force-greet dialog package to start the arrest, then it jumps into a scene. If a mod would block force-greet packages and/or stop scenes, that would break POP. 

Uninstall SLS and see if the arrest proceeds normally.

I'll try out your suggestions when I get the chance.  Might be a while tho...

 

And if I get it 'fixed' by messing about with any MCM settings, I'll let you know what I see

okay I have a few ideas for your "prison" mod. to start with sorry my bad english i use google translate.

 

seems there are unfortunately too few events in this mode, and when you often lands in prison (like me) it quickly gets boring, so here are a few new ideas hoping they can be used them.

1) bonuty level, could be nice if you got to side in jail a certain amount of time after how high your bounty is. 200 bounty = 1 day imprisonment. 1000 bounty = 5 days imprisonment. and if there could be a slider in the mcn menu so people could choose that approach to or from and how much bounty to go on for a day in jail. however, with a ceiling e.g. max 10, possibly again make a slider

2) just like the "bitches-be-warned" mod, one should be taken out in public and forced to have sex with a dog or horse (depending on one's bounty level). https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/13230-bitches-be-warned_1237z/

3) for us who use Milk Mod Economy. get the guards to force lactose into you (before bed time) and then milk you as the first thing the next day.
3.1) might force you through town in a devius outfit down to the nearest milking stand, (a little more public humiliation). and here you will of course also get lactose in you, the production must still run.

4) Let your character work his bounty down.
4.1) small tasks: work remove dirt from the street (cures loot use it as a thing in their prison), maybe give the other prisoners food, or serve drinks for the guards (eg 20 for each task).
4.2) medium tasks: make the guards' armor better (not weapons, it can go wrong), or maybe make nails or harmless other things on the armball (eg give 80 for each task).
4.3) big tasks: let npc buy fantasies, eg who does not want a beautiful woman inside his shop that everyone can turn on a bit. or maybe make a brawl 2-5 npc and player (here you have to win). maybe try new torture methods of, the water mill, small cage over open fire, there are many mods who have them (go wild). let a nobleman buy himself cheap sex or does the nobleman have a dream of seeing a prisoner get nailed the bundle of a goat, also an option (value 200 for each task)
 
5) (large one) The labyrinth. let the player be sent down into this secret maze, goal to find an exit before being captured. (whole day's experience).
5.1) depending on the player's bounty level, there will be different animals that will hunt them down to rape the player, eg 50 = goat, 100 = dog, 200 = wolf, 400 = horse, 800 = bear, 1600 = troll, 3200 = frost atronach . yes you understand where I want to goen.
5.2) the player can find a cage they can seek refuge in along the way to avoid their pursuer, but if they spend more than 2 hours (game time) they will have failed the mission and they will get an extra day in jail, it is only for to avoid for the follower for a little while.
5.3) output A) there will be several exits / endings. this door must be picking (max 10 pick), but for each pick that breaks you will be forced to take drugs (skooma whore) / lactose (Milk Economy) / or you will get a new tattoo on you. if you come out the door the day is over.
5.4) output B) you have to make one of those Pillar Puzzle, which maybe 5 pillars but only 2 lead threads you have to figure out the last ones yourself, maybe the guard will give you a message before it all starts e.g. "I wish I was a bird, then I did not have to swim" (bird and whale). once you get through the door here you will have a great meal food and lots of drinks as well as a good night sleep without interruptions. for us who use iNeed or Realistic Needs and Diseases it will be gold weather.
5.5) output c) this door will give you 2 options you will get one day less in prison, but you will lose all the things you had on you when you were arrested without the chance to get them back (remove them from the coffin) . or you can try your luck with a game of roulette
     The roulette) A) Jackopt: you will be released from prison tomorrow without further hassle. B) you get released but you get a bounty in all other areas of 200-2000 and you do not get your stuff with you (will be there for next time). C) when you finish in jail you will be the earl's personal slave for the next few days you will be brand/tato and removing your hair, there potential for lots of slave violence there. D) you will be released without your stuff and get 6 hours to get away for the next 3 days there will be a hunt for you (if possible tattoo like a shooting target on the back of the players) and send some randome npc after player if they catch her the person, they will raped and mark the player (line, line, fifth line goes over the others 4) on the third day let your bounty hunter find her and for each mark she has cut a limb of her (amputation framework) and now she is free. E) free number, nothing happens and you continue in prison as usual.

I hope you can use some of. since I do not make modsmyself I can only get ideas for that.
