Some added notes.

I added the same outfit name to arrest and cell.

I turned off hardcore, though default cuffs are still applied when handed over to the jailer for minor and major crimes alike. When reaching the cell, the default log gag is removed and the parts of the outfit that did work are being equipped.

The POP restraints have priority over DDe ones. So, if you prefer the yoke, set the POP cuffs to none. 

 

The cuffs will be applied and will stay for violent crimes regardless of the hardcore setting. Violent crimes are separate from the minor and major crimes. 

Violent crimes - murder, assault, etc. regardless of bounty amount.

Major crimes - large bounty.

Minor crimes - small bounty.

Thanks for the explanation, though to make sure I understand it fully, you're saying that cuffs will be applied for violent crimes, no matter what? Cause that would explain what happened with my testing, turning cuffs off, and them being put on any way.

If that is the case, I'd of course hope that a toggle for that could be added in a later update ;)

 

*edit* Indeed attaches the selected outfit when comitting a non-violent crime (or adding the bounty for non-violent). however, it only gets attached when you're in the cell, instead of the usual at the point one gets handed over to the jailor.

I wish I had tested POP arrest earlier in my pt, but I didn't and I have a problem. From the debug menu I triggered a major arrest. It only worked if a guard was really close to me, otherwise I got a message that X wasn't a POP captor. I'm not sure who was meant, a follower or a passing guard, but I did finally get arrested. The guard does his thing, I follow him to jail and the Jail Master. FREEZE. Always at the point where my stuff is going to be put into the evidence chest.

 

I tried disabling some mods, I tried w/ follower arrested with me and not arrested. I don't know what else to try. I'm attaching mod list, LOOT, logs, and settings. I appreciate any help you can give me.

ok I am facing a problem from a long time. 

POP always work as intended except when it is time for release it loads from prison to outside there is a guaranteed CTD during loading screen. It works fine when it load outside prison for cage, bind in town etc. I have attempted multiple time for small crime and different prisons. result always same.

Is it possible to create a list of items that will NOT be taken from the player when arrested? I would like to keep my wigs on if possible.

More to the point: can a box be added to the MCM to disallow stripping the wig in slot 31? That would be helpful.

What are all the dependencies for version 4.44 ?

 

When I check in CK, there is an unknow esp... or I have sexlab, zaz, dd...

 

By the way, how the mod works to get player crime importance (I noted stuff triggered by prison overhaul differs if you killed a chicken or several peoples) ?

I wish to ask you a complex question : how prison overhaull works in terms of scripts ?

 

I explain : I wish to make a little capital punishment mod. It should take in count player bounty (so, a major crime), trigger the arrestation... and pick player in jail, and execute it by beheading.

It will also need to manage followers (same fate as player).

 

For example, how Prison overhaul distinguish minor and major crime ?

How you detect follower (by the way, it's not working well, i think some followers mods are incompatible) ?

The bounty hunters seem to behave in broken ways.

- They spawn inside doors when i come outside from shops and get stuck there.

- It got so bad i couldn't even sleep in breezehome because there was enemies near. I used the no clipping command to see what's outside but nothing.

- In combat they are way much harder than other enemies at my level, somewhere comparable to a self-healing dragonpriest i guess that can summon tough minions. Last time i fought one for 10 minutes it ended with their paralyzing arrows.

The following prison phase worked fine though. Apart for cage scene triggering a small fight at the start but it ended in 10 seconds somewhere in the hallway... I don't know who won it or who participated, but there was a bountyhunter in the crowd afterwards xD

 

But yeah i know they can be disabled. Not sure though how effective that is if one is already chasing you.

are there supposed to be zbf slaves in the Bee and Barb? I ask because I just did a full play through running an earlier version of this mod and there were no slaves in the tavern. However after updating some mods for a new play through, there's about a dozen slaves in the tavern and a table is missing with a floating candle from elfx. Console says the npc's are related to pop. The table was there last play through.

Haven't checked this in a while and I'm not a fan of forcing Hardcore (I prefer longer sentences for RP purposes with waiting/sleeping to speed things up, and Hardcore prevents it). Can it just be an option for violent crimes to toggle hardcore?

 

(Or is it already one? Haven't used the actual new versions yet)

You don't need the original PO

All you need you find here in the downloads + requirements

Only the violent crimes can trigger hardcore, and as far as I see it this can be even deactivated.

Update:

- Seems like I'm able to circumvent the crash by settings all the restraints to their default values (I was using the inox restriants previously).

- Crashes seem to persist when the guard escorts my PC at the start of the parade scene. (I've attached another log for your reference)

If you have DD series installed I would recommend to use also DDe

You could check if you didn't overwrote your PapyrusUtil 3.3

You could check in MCM if the settings for Parade are set to "add DDe outfit" and change other settings in MCM if they point at DDe or DD outfits/devices

Thank you for your help. I'm surprised that MOD has so many functions when it's so small. because PO was very big in my memory.

Inte's POP has tons of scripts that makes it so complex.

And if you add all requirements to the overall size you get a BIG mod, if you judge just from the size of it ^^

Been away for awhile, just installed SUM 1.41 and POP 444.  When I trigger the bounty (major) a guard approaches, challenges me but when I say arrest me he and every guard near by just start blabbering their entire guard lines and never do arrest me.   I've installed this several times and all the prerequisites are working fine. Help.

If it's not a typo you have an old SUM version.

Newest is SUM 1.44 and is needed for POP 4.44

and don't forget the SUM patch if you use UIextensions

also check if your PapyrusUtil 3.3 wasn't overwritten

 

and if you use mods like PetCollar/Sexlife (or other mods that make NPC leave Quest scenes) be careful, because they can pull POP NPCs out of a scene

 

if you are wearing DCL or other quest bondage devices you need also DDe and enter the "password" and click on "remove quest DDs"

(warning can break DCL quests, maybe)

 

If you set in POP MCM that DDe devices should be added, make sure you have the newest DDe version also

 

check if you have stack dumps and an overflow of active scripts on your save, this can slow quest events down or prevent them from working

 

check if your save has unfinished scripts or needs cleaning

So, I'm still pretty new to modding as a whole, and if there has been an answer to this question that I didn't see... that's extremely likely.

I have a bug that, after being arrested, the guard will approach my character, apply various bits of bondage (Gag, collar, wrist binds), and then just.... stand there indefinitely.

If I turn off the arrest scene, SOMETIMES they'll take me back to the prison, but at that point, the same thing happens where everyone just stands there indefinitely with nothing happening.

Any idea what may be causing this?
