I mainly just want to fight one bounty hunter without him summoning backup. The scene scenario I wrote up for that post was just an idea you could use to reflect that there is only one bounty hunter in a scene should you decide to add such a thing. Overall, I do feel the capture scene would be a lot smoother with only one bounty hunter. Instead of weirdly pausing to clumsily summon back up the scene would just play out uninterrupted and much faster in my opinion. Plus, I just like the idea of my tough criminal character being subdued by one person. And it wouldn't make sense to summon back up when he can control you fine by himself. Just a wish of mine. Thanks for reading.

I haven't. It's most likely another mod causing the issue. Check through the mcm on all your mods. DD and SL survival for example are two mods that have settings to disable fast travel.

ill give it a look! i only have dd of those 2 you listed, but i seem to fix the travel bug when uninstalling this mod :(

Back from hiatus.
Looks like POP is still at the top of it's game. Good to see.

 

My MO2 Skyrim LE setup is from the time before Ancient Romans learned to pick their noses in public. Sorting this out will take awhile.

 

Just popped in to see that state of POP. It will get back to my load order for sure. ?

An update, for what it's worth :/

 

I disabled the guard dialogue option in the MCM, and enabled force completion of long guard moves.

 

Now the guard is able to hand the PC over to the jailer successfully, and walks off. But then the jailer still just stands there doing nothing. Attempting to interact also still produces a 'this person is busy' message.

 

The PC is able to move at this point, but unable to interact with anything (hands bound, in prison outfit). Using the MCM to move the jailer to the player doesn't help to progress the stage, the jailer still just stands at wherever the player is when teleported to.

 

Edit: I realise the mod page doesn't seem to list any incompatibilities, I have Sexlab Submit, could that be an issue? Though from what I know, Submit doesn't have anything to do with prison.

The BH is not summoning backup for him/her but for your protection. 

 

As for fighting only one BH, what would be the fun in that?

Seems like your PC lost the running AI pk. 

Hit your SUM AI hotkey and choose 'Force AI Pk'.

Welp, I can't get it to happen again, I'm stuck at the 'jailer and guard staring at each other' part again. I tried disabling Submit, cleaning the save, then getting arrested, but nothing changes either, so it's not Submit, at least. 

 

Edit: Duh I'm retarded and didn't have Fuz Ro Doh installed (thought I did). Serves me right for trying to rush through reinstalling Skyrim. Sorry for wasting your time :|

This happens to me too in Whiterun prison. I realized that it's a pathfind getting stuck. There is a door into the cell hallway but the guard doesn't know how to open it. It's not locked or anything.

 

So what i did was load back when i was free still, open the hallway door and then did the arrest again. Now the guard was no longer trying to walk through the wall and led me to cell.

 

Also surprised and delighted to see Cursed Loot handles player to POP too. MCM for that mod has to be set "No vanilla prisons" and POP chance 100 (if you never want to get into Dagonar instead).

 

And i can still use wait feature while hardcore mode is on.

I have been running the latest SUM/POP on SSE, and it's been working great. The cap->prison->release loop works fine now, and I have noticed things run smoother, and faster; it's like night and day difference from previous versions.

 

That said, you'll probably hate me for suggesting this, but here goes:

 

I would love it, if...instead of the usual crimes, we had Jarls, other major NPC's who put out bounties for everyone's favorite Dragonborn...to you know, "enjoy" them, as sex trophy. A simple day long stay would be enough. Instead of to the cage, or the pillory in the square, you're just taken to the NPC's sleeping place, abused, and then set free...if you optionally tied in Skyrim Reputation, you could even track events for triggering auto bounties if you wanted, etc. (Jarl Siddgeir may want to tap that ass after hearing about you killing a dragon in Kynesgrove, etc) Don't involve the usual guards. Just use the spawned bounty hunters.       

 

I was just thinking, you already have a great framework going here for this, and if this kind of functionality could be layered on as kind of an alternate use of it, it would be great. It fits too: a powerful Jarl, wants to bed the Dragonborn, as a status symbol, to dominate, etc. I am not sure how feasible it is, or if this would even be something you felt was in the scope of POP...but the suggestion is here anyway. I won't die or anything if you didn't do it...just making a suggestion to help make POP better. ;)

 

My $0.02. Thanks for the updates, and I know you get a lot of bug reports, and maybe complaints. Thought it might be nice to get something different. ?

Hi Inte, been struggling to get POP working on my setup for the past few days, was hoping you could throw me a bone here. Apparently, my game would crash whenever the jailer came to fetch my PC from her cell. He would ask my PC to "get down", triggering the CTD. I've attached a log for your reference.

 

Additional info:

I'm also using ZAP v8.0 plus instead of v7.0, without the optional DDE component installed, could this be a problem as well?

 

Update:

- Seems like I'm able to circumvent the crash by settings all the restraints to their default values (I was using the inox restriants previously).

- Crashes seem to persist when the guard escorts my PC at the start of the parade scene. (I've attached another log for your reference)

Not completely the same, but something where more criminally-minded NPCs would put the bounty on a "goodie goodie two shoes" PC. Punishment for getting in their way. Currently I'm just using the random bounty to catch that, but some lines like "But I didn't do anything" instead of the "I'll submit, don't hurt me!" for random bounty would add a lot to me.

Also, second post for a potential bug (or me screwing something up). I've been trying to get the Devious Devices to work in the cell. Got my outfit saved properly, it equips properly during arrest, but only parts of the outfit are equipped while actually in the cell. Specifically the yoke of the outfit is not being attached. Are yokes just not intended for this?

 

Some added notes.

I added the same outfit name to arrest and cell.

I turned off hardcore, though default cuffs are still applied when handed over to the jailer for minor and major crimes alike. When reaching the cell, the default log gag is removed and the parts of the outfit that did work are being equipped.

Edit: yup, all the way to Winterhold. Is it possible to add a teleport option for the really long cross country trips?
 

Quick question about the bounty hunters... which I’m probably going to figure out myself shortly. I got caught with a bounty for Winterhold in Dawnstar and the hunter is dragging my bound and blindfolded ass away. Am I going to teleport at all or do I have to walk all the way to prison?

Indeed. This idea is a good one as well. Basically: in a corrupt world, goodness...can be coveted and criminalized.

Think you can set whether you teleport or not.

Yes that's right.

 

It's set from the General menu in MCM - Fast Forward. It can be set to Never, Once or Always. There's a 5 second countdown if you're in an exterior location.

I like the idea of this mod very much. So this is disappointing that I cannot use it in regular gameplay. I have multiple attempts to use this mod, but seems that it's highly incompatible with other mods in my mod list or it is just buggy. So every time I install mod it plays nice. But when I save and try to load it later it gives CTD every time.
