I want to change the cursed eggs to look like something that, as a player, I would normally loot, so that it's actually a surprise when I loot a cursed egg. I'm thinking soul gems, because I always loot those. I can change the FULL - Name field to a type of soul gem, and I can change the MODL - Model Filename to the .nif image for that soul gem, but it shows up in the SkyUI menu with the "Default Misc" icon - and so I still know that it's a cursed egg and not actually a soul gem. I'm thinking I need to change the Signature field to SLGM, but I'm not seeing any way to do that.

In the script source AddItem/EquipItem/AddSpell calls are set to be silent to prevent this but, looking further: the 'victim.addspell' call on line 274 of EggFactoryTimer.psc isn't set to suppress UI message. zloiiojik Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Heya, i remember in the earlier versions of the mod the extra clutch effect could trigger itself. Like you have 25% chance to trigger it, then, if it triggers, you get another 25% chance...and if you set it to 100% youdd be basically stuck egg laying all the time. Is there a way to bring that back?
Tovoklar Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 So I got an egg and was impregnated, my belly grew, at 5.9 I got my first message warning me of impending labor, water breaks and the fx goes off, finally i get a message that "you need to push", but nothing has happened after that. Not sure what the problem is.

Are you waiting enough time if you have the requirements? Does the outfit you are wearing have a belly node? A little more information could help us give you a more accurate answer. 1

This is a work-in-progress add-on for Alternate Start - Live Another Life with scenarios that start you off cursed for whatever reason. Like Live Another Life, you need all DLC for this. To activate them, select "I am laying eggs." when talking to the Mara statue. Summary of each start: * Dragon: You wake up heavily pregnant in an old crypt near Windhelm. Kill some dragon cultists and escape. * Fish: Fishing at the Lady Stone hauls up a slaughterfish fat with eggs. * Spider: Starts you off full of spider eggs in Redbelly Mine in Shor's Stone. * Bird: With all her chickens dead, the owner of a farm near Dawnstar turns to desperate means. This is not showing for me at all on a brand new game. All old saves deleted and starting completely fresh, but it's not showing. I made an orc character. Does that make any difference? Not flagged as a race for it maybe? I know I get the addition of starting in an orc stronghold, so it seems some starts are race specific, could that be what's happening here?

EggFactoryStartsBeta.zip Not sure about the large bird, but for the chaurus, DeepBlueFrog is working on something both intricate and lore-appropriate for chaurus egg breeders. If you're interested in story-based integration (not actual integration, just thematic) with other mods, you could ask him for some details, maybe have a little tie-in? I dunno, just a thought. EDIT: For the large bird, maybe something like... a mad wizard is trying to figure out how the Hagravens came into being. He has decided that the best way to go about it is to capture a young lady and a hawk, and attempt to breed the two at his secret laboratory in the Reach. He was killed by the Forsworn before he could finish his experiment, but after he successfully implanted an egg in the player. Start: Escape his laboratory. (nope not this one)
Content Consumer Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 @sfeile, @MorePrinniesDood Vanilla Skyrim has an engine bug wherein if you have too many dialogue options for one actor (or talking activator), some of them get sort of lost. Since Live Another Life has a lot of dialogue options when you talk to the mara statue, it is possible that the option is there, you just can't see it. Many people report that these "missing" options can be accessed by using the keyboard instead of your mouse to scroll through the list. This bug is not fixed by USLEEP/USKP, but it is fixed by mods such as Better Dialogue Controls or EZ2C Dialogue Menu. NB: This happens to a lot of people who use CCAS, which is why I think it might be your problem, sfeile. Try using your arrow keys to get to the option, but I also highly recommend EZ2C Dialogue Menu.

I've used CCAS in the past and had no issues seeing the menu choices, but I gave EZ2C a try anyhow just in case. I still have the same choices and the egg option still isn't there.

sfeile Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 If I hit the additem it shows the .esp there and even opens with some items. I tried it being loaded both before and after ASLAL .esp also. No change either way.

I tried my save with the update, and it still wasn't there. So I backed out to the main menu and started a new game. Selected the race and preset, then went to the statue. I didn't set up the MCM or anything. The option was there. So I went to the main menu and tried my save that I had already set everything up on again and still no menu. OK, no problem. Well then I loaded the save that the game made right after I exited racemenu from the new game where the option was there. After loading the save, it was gone again. So I went back to the main menu and deleted that save and started a new game again. Same thing. I walk to the statue and it is there, but if I go back to the menu and then load the save, it disappears.
