Found this out myself the hard way. Only throught running and analyining it in TES5Edit did I find the cause.

Hmmm, it's been a while since I tried this mod but I've always had Dawnguard installed.

 

Don't make such a pronouncement unless you have some FACTS to back it up with.

 

If you think there's a reason it's incompatible then explain why, tell us what you found with TES5EDIT not just that you used it..

The hard way? What cause? Where is the log? Elaborate?

 

I haven't experienced any DG related interactions.

I take back all my issues from before, it works great now.

 

I only got stuck once, when being processed the first time, the guard stopped moving when he was going to untie me, and I couldn't move either. It's because I was on the wrong side of the guard though, between him and the table. Also for some reason I CTD whenever I try to load a save from inside the mine straight after starting Skyrim, so I have to load a different save first.

 

Anyway like I said before this is a mod I've always hoped someone would make, and it looks amazing.

Apparently, it seems that you have experienced a different problem than what you have originally presumed. If you can describe the symptoms or better, show me the Papyrus log, then I'll try to see if I can help you fixing the problem.

I have dawnguard and have no issue with this mod. Also if you're doing quests in Dawnguard (or quests in general) and have this mod enabled... well you probably shouldn't do that as it is extremely early alpha and SoT did forewarn possible problems arising if you have this enabled in a game you're actually questing in etc.

Aye, it's still a WIP, but considering there's no actual entry point into the mod except for what other mods give (or specific MCM or console commands), it should be safe for the vast majority of games.

 I observed three problems, I got a CTD during the branding scene, probably triggered by being in 3rd person mode when it started.

 

 The woman standing by the smelter was taking an excessive amout of time to get into position at the end of the workday; I used the

wait timer and she moved after that.

 

 One of the girls kept trying to walk into the wall during the lineup at the end of the workday. I toggled TAI on her and that fixed her.

 

 Oh, and I had the opportunity to speak to a bug ;)

 

 It's an interesting start, the aesthetics are quite good. I got a little confused when installing the slave tats, because there were a ton

to choose from "Which Slave Tats?" and finally decided to take your instructions literally "I guess the file actually called 'Slave Tattoos'"

 

 Now if there was some way to make Skyrim behave so my player wouldn't get moved across the  floor when she gets whipped; that

must be a game engine thing?

 

 I'm glad to see you're building a solid foundation by getting the mechanics worked out before you start piling on the quests; there are

more than a few mod authors who could learn from your example.

It seems that there still remains a few pathing related issues, despite the poll confirms that the latest patch with the TimeScale fix has been indeed helpful in mitigating the problem.

 

Honestly, it's almost like a hit or miss thing with the way game works, but there are various ways to reduce the frequency of their occurrence. Still, I need to know exactly when and how it happens to identify and fix the problematic package or marker or navmesh. So, it would help me much if you could provide me with a screenshot or a detailed description when and where it happens if it's not too much of a hassle.

 

As to the tattoo pack, you only need one which matches your character's body type and your hardware can handle. It might be a good idea to start from the mixed pack and go either up to 4k, do down to 2k one according to whether or not it causes any problem (like CTD or reduced fps).

 

The ragdoll effect after being whipped was added intentionally, as I didn't like how the actors remains perfectly still like mannequins when they are punished. But I noticed it to make the camera move in so disorienting way, when it happens to the PC while using IFPV. So, I'm considering to add a custom profile for IFPV or make the ragdolling optional in future.

  I just had a horrible idea about the insects that display talk prompts, have the player hallucinate if she

gets in too bad of a condition (such as sick) while she's in her cell, and she thinks the bug is talking to her.

It could give her some advice on how to improve her lot etc. If you had sexual activity incorporated you

could also do a little Autobiography of a Flea reference. It's not a bug, it's a feature :)

"Psst, hey you! Down here! No, over here by the bucket of shit!" Or the sassy bug of color, "Girlfriend! We gotta

talk!"

How about adding some dung sticking out of the ass when the slave can't wipe (tied hands/yoke maybe) or slavetats for smeared dung on the ass, legs when the slave tries wiping by rubbing the ass over something :)

 

 

Possibilities for escape:

 

 

- Talk other slaves into rebelling after giving them your ore, food. Should take a while. Escape when the the guards will be busy fighting. Slaves are naked, but have pickaxes and the guards wear armor, but only have whips so it's not unrealistic, until the reinforcements arrive with real weapons. If you escape you become a runaway slave, being hunted and easy to spot because of the branding marks.

 

- Mining too hard will cause a wall collapse which will crush the PC's hand. The guards dump the PC as useless, being unable to hold a pickaxe. Also if the PC is slacking, the PC might be told to mine in an area of the mine where a collapse is very likely to happen.

 

- Pissing off another slave by stealing lots of ore from her will make the slave violently stick a pickaxe into PC's hand. The guards dump the PC as useless

 

- Dig a tunnel to the surface with bare hands in the cell when nobody's watching. Hide the dirt you dug up in vagina, ass and dump elsewhere. Get a permanent debuff to lockpicking, archery, 1-handed, 2-handed... and some diseases.

Might not be related to mod itself, but more common issue with memory or load order.

 

Did you run LOOT to sort your load order and have you set up SKSE memory fix? Latter allocates more memory for initial processes in Skyrim, so it will help to deal with problems like this.

Hi, I've some problems with the mod:

 

- when starting the mod, the guards there seem to say something to me, but i can't here anyting and I don't see any subtitels.

- after getting branded and shakeld the mod does somehow not cotinu. I go the the mine but cannot enter instet I sit down and can't do anything anymore...

 

Can somebody help?

1: Enable General Subtitles.

2: This is where the guard on the other side of the gate should make his way over to the gate and open it for you. I'd try running a few less mods when trying out this alpha as a few scripted scenes have issues starting on heavy installs.

Still haven't finished the game. It took me years to finish oblivion main quest, though haven't done the addons (can't be asked).

 

Thank you so much for this. Buggy but the potential is high.

 

I found this mod is really hard for a new PC. I mine forever but produced nothing. Currently I am mining without making a single ore. Don't know why. My stamina (100) runs out really fast also. Cheated and set it to 500 but still mining nothing.

 

Is there a way to level while mining, getting raped or punished? Maybe getting raped you get x amount, consensual sex get double the amount, offer and accepting get triple, and quadruple if you rape a slave, times ten if a guard :D. Otherwise I am screwed as a level 1 forever.

 

Small suggestion

1) Number the guards name or give them a unique names. Useful for mods like SAM.

2) Why are they shy? I mean they get raped, piss in a bucket and swing a big axe with all their jiggly bits jiggling. A NPC gets off the piss bucket then pretends she has modesty left. :lol:

3) Whelps from lashing should last a lot longer.

 

Bug

1) Already mentioned but it also occurs with me, piss items remain in my inventory.

2) Most likely you know. The guy at the mine, I have to use moveto to go to him so he can introduce me.

3) Level one and I am unable to mine. I cheat :s

4) Keep getting after mining job and guard has us kneeling.
