Hi everyone, 

 

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I've been preoccupied with my real life project which is expected to finish this month and I hope to find some free time resuming the work from early next month. Probably I'll do a quick patch release to support FNIS 6.0 and other dependencies which was updated while I've been away before I start working for other stuffs.

 

Again, thanks for the patience, and for all suggestions, bug reports, and all. Even though I couldn't find time to reply to all those posts, I've been reading them all with gratitute.

P.S.: By the way, the incompatible entry in ths FNIS_Slaves_of_Tamriel_List.txt about crawl*.hkx is not needed for the current version, so you can freely delete it without any problem.

 

If you can't wait for the official patch, you can try to delete it and rerun the FNIS generator to workaround the issue.

Heres an idea, what about changing the guards to orks? I think it would be more interesting for the opppresors to be orks once rape and forced prositiuton comes into play.

That's a great mod.

The mining content is very fine right now. I hope we will soon be able to get to the second day of mining after sleeping in the cells.

The guard won't open the gate to the mining room he just stands there and I can't move.

 

Sorry to hear that you have experienced such a trouble. The problem with NPCs getting stuck has been the most prevalent and hard to debug problem for this mod so far, however the frequency has been reduced somewhat since the timescale variable was adjusted in the last release.

 

Due to the nature of the problem, it can happen randomly, so there's a chance that you can get past the part if you reload and play it again. If not, please check the Papyrus log first to see if there's any error messages when it happens, and let me know if you find anything suspicious.

 

Heres an idea, what about changing the guards to orks? I think it would be more interesting for the opppresors to be orks once rape and forced prositiuton comes into play.

 

It's definitely a possibility. Actually, there has been some discussion about a proper backstory for the guard faction, and I much liked the idea to make them non-human race, so as to introduce some sort of 'racism' element to the atmosphere.

 

For now, I'm just postponing implementing any story related elements (as well as dialogues, or sex scenes) until I can get the basic day-to-day schedule working first. Until then, you can see the current guards in their Whitehold outfit as simple placeholders.

 

I'll certainly revisit the idea as soon as it's done. Thanks for the suggestion!

Ran it again and it was fine turns out other mods were interfering.

Sounds very nice, i didnt installed it yet but is there a way to escape? Like after 3-4 days one slave is working on a plan to escape (but in the end just get crushed by falling rocks for some thrilling moments?).

Does the hair regrow?

What about a little infection: When you sleep there is a chance that the bugs that are crawling around your cell laying some eggs in your vagina/ass.

For punishment: You are now the toilet for other slaves (and maybe for the guards).

Smuggling: When the guards find something in your vagina that you wanted to smuggel in (idk what it could be) the guards will stitch/sew your vagina.

A bit cannibalism: Sometimes a slave dies so the guards will feed the remains to the others.

Hi... I am having a problem where I wont advance... Ok, I triggered quest in menu

went for branding

everything smooth

now going to cell

stop at cell door

kneel

guard have conversation

stop at let me open door for you

guard walks to door but no open

 

Stuck. I left it going for 5 minutes while I do some chores and still stuck. I use wait ingame function for a nearly whole 24 hours no response. I restart and try new character yet still no response. I have all the requirement mods installed. Before this bug happened, everything was superb, the voice acting, animations, tattoos, all nice. Really a masterpiece.

The guard won't open the gate to the mining room he just stands there and I can't move.

I also have the same problem. Odd right?

I uninstalled all my other mods and reinstalled only this mod and it's requirements, voila! All goes well.

 

One of the most immersive mods I have ever seen. It feels like reality... like working a dead end job... Kinda sad and depressing. But that's what makes it shine. This surrealistic feel is what I like about this mod.

I like this suggestion, but the fetish is quite a niche one especially the vore/guro-esque suggestions. Might turn off many of the users :(

But I really think they should be some ending, I mean, there is no end to this and there is no 'owner or big boss' of the mine. I think it can go from where you work your way to crap level slave to employee of the month, and then after a long time of hard work or some kind of event that you get to choose to either to continue to be a dumb slave or to be set free... and that is when the rest of skyrim starts and you find the dragonborn within you... or end up being another slave to another mod...

 

This mod has much potential. I really respect and love what the modders are doing for the game despite most of them having real jobs or relationships to deal with.

Okay, so I "finished" playing one day. I am very, very impressed. It's a great atmosphere. I have defeat on, and I ended up getting whipped down and fisted, while the other slaves "Watched". How defeat works, that kind of seemed to inspire a hilarious rebellion where all the girls cowered in the corner, which resulted in the entire thing breaking as the guard in the guard room ran out to put them down, and a few ran out and cowered in there, so it never reset and got locked at the next "show us your ore" part.

 

Anyway, a reload later, I went through it again. I use Realistic Needs and Diseases instead of Ineeds. Not sure why there isn't a hay pile in the cells. I don't know how feeding goes, since it  refused to work on several different reloads. I suspect there's a mod conflict, which is odd since the other scheduling events went off fine (except that crazy rebellion.)

 

But... About the orc dominated racism. Bad idea. Not because it couldn't be done, but because it decreases your potential if that's the "theme". But that isn't

Your backstory should probably be something like the Mine is owned by a wealthy individual. Possibly a Dunmer, maybe not. it doesn't really matter who owns it if he's never seen. it can be located in Skyrim. It's an illegal operation, and therefore if you can escape, you can come back and liberate the mine, or any number of other outcomes. The point is, you don't have to have slaves "Nordic" or guards "Orc". You can have a mixture. Your "guards" are hired personnel to keep the slaves in line. That means their races don't matter.

Maybe the "duty guard" can change every 3-4 days. Maybe one guard is racist against all non-imperials and is quick with the whip, but another is a more gentle soul who doesn't care how much resting you do as long as you are being productive, but expects "service"

 

I'm looking forward to seeing further improvements on this mod.

For some reason, I couldn't post anything in the new site and now I can as it seems to be rolled back. I've managed to find some time to work on the remaining tasks for the next Alpha version (which will be the last one before the Beta stage), but I didn't make much progress this time.

 

I was a bit frustrated by all the issues I had, but I'll try to keep going at least I can make the daily cycle working so I can finish the Alpha stage.

No escape yet, as it's planned for the very last of the development cycle, while we are near the end of the alpha stage. I like to make hair regrow, but it's not possible to do without having intermediate hair models. As to the other suggestions, I like them myself maybe except for the cannibalism part (because of my own personal preference). I can't promise anything now, as I'm very hard pressed to find anytime for working on this mod, but I'll try to revisit the idea when we get to the stage to think about introducing more contents.

I think the end game is you should be released on the condition you have to recurit new slaves and can watch them being introduced to their new lives.

 

Interesting idea, but I'm afraid it would be very difficult to implement for now. For one thing, the quest itself is not repeatable as it is, and the slaves positions are fixed as a quest setting. Maybe we can make an arbitrary NPC of choice to fill for a quest alias, but it will probably cause trouble as NPC's own AI package will interfere with the quest packages at some points.

Thanks for your kind words and feedback! :) I definitely plan to write a suitable ending for this mod, but I've been rather struggling to keep up recently due to my real issues. Hope I'll be able to spend more time for this mod next year.

 

And I'm already keeping my eyes on nooblet123's wonderful mod you mentioned. I just didn't have enough time to actually try it inside this mod. But what I found from playing with it alone, I think it was really well done, and probably can enhance my mod nicely if I find a proper way to integrate it.

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't make it to the feeding scene due to such an issue. I often encounter that kind of random issues myself, and even with the timescale fix introduced in the last version, some of them still persist, making it really frustrating to work on this mod.

 

I'm afraid there to be no easy fix for such issues at this time, since they come from limitations of the platform itself. For now, the best way to deal with it is to save often, and try to reload whenever it happens.

 

As to the racial theme, I think it might spice up the atmosphere nicely, if it can enable the guards to make occasional derogatory comments about the slaves of an 'inferior race'. But I can see your alternative to make just one guard to be a racist to be a reasonable middle ground. I'll make it sure to revisit this issue once we reach to that stage where we begin implementing more contents.

The hair in "Slaverun Reloaded" regrow. Idk how but maybe you could ask him.

"Namira's Goat" could be the cannibalism part. You said you dont like it, but maybe someone else can do this for you.

I personally liked the picture someone posted here awhile back with the slave girl hauling a load on her back taking the ore to town or a depot. This would be an ideal opportunity to escape given that monsters / dragons or bandits could show up and distract the guards or defeat them thus making you property of bandits who would be rather more slack when it comes to security. Just saying if it comes to a vote.

 

As for the collar Nooblet posted usually I like his/her work but that collar looks like it would slip right off the head which would be somewhat immersion breaking.

There's a mod that makes Girls haul carts. I haven't looked at it, but maybe something of a similar nature could be done? it's called Skyrim Licensed Universal Transportation System.

 

Also, for the broken system, Can't you add a flag for last completed task, and refire if nessessary?

This is a known problem with the last version. The fix is to just remove the offending line.

It gets stuck in the jaw / back of the head when it's raised.

Thanks Content Consumer. May I ask how can I locate the FNIS_SlavesOfTamriel_List.txt file? Do I need to use specific software like papyrus script manager to delete the offending line?

 

Sorry, I didn't see this until just now.

It's in your data/meshes/actors/character/animations/slavesoftamriel folder.

For example, if you've installed Skyrim to the default location in Windows:

 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\character\animations\SlavesOfTamriel
