Stuck at Tercius being busy standing still, can't use wait or sleep function because my game will CTD because my PC is a potato.

So, what's the command for the quest? I tried to dig around but can't find them. I think I might need to skip Tercius.

 

Have you considered replacing the potato with some chips?

I had two instances of game play CTD.  One with the initial sex scene with the ship captain and another with the initial sex with the dungeon Argonians. 

That was likely because of sexlab. Those things just happen recently in all sort of mods.

Tho they seem to happen less often if modder is using GetAnimationByName() instead of GetAnimationsByTags().

 

When I was transported back to the dock at Riften at the end of the mod my controls were still disabled and I could still see the activate 'Phillius' (one your Argonians) space bar being displayed.  He happened to be the last character within my field of activation when I was moved back to the dock.

Obviously few lines of code are missing there but for now you can use restore player controls buttons in ZAZ MCM.

That's the end of the mod and tbh thing that you should do at that point is to go back to the save from before you even started playing this mod  :P

Just finished a playthrough. Very nice story and dialogue - looking forward to seeing more. No major bugs or glitches, but the lighting is off in a couple of places - but that might also my my ENB. I had the same frozen bug at the end of the story in Riften as Kendo 2, but that doesn't matter much anyway.

Finished the story just now. Great mod, i hope you can finish it soon :) 

Low luminosity in some places (dunmer tower and boats), thats because im using a light overhaul mod, but could be great if you can set a torch or two.

No bugs for me, as far as i saw. I was expecting more kinky/devious interactions (more uses of Devious Devices mods and forniture) with the bandits, but thats ok, i have more mods for that matter.

Great so far, curious to see where this mod is going to go. Given that it seems quite a passive/low level would be cool if it could be tied in as an option for the alternative start mod so when you select the option from the statue, use the bed you wake up on the oat with the journal filling you in on how you got there.

Nav mesh bug in the Jarls house on the second island.

If he is by the fire pit and tries to walk over to get the wine from the cabinet then he'll just get stuck on the bench that you placed there.

He does not walk around it, he tries to walk thru it... I got around it by Running into him which bumped him to a point where the bench was not in the way.

 

Needless to say... A very Fun mod...

 

I'm hoping you do something more with the collar from the mage.

Something along the lines of what Dark Investigations did, where it kicks off an ai package for the character and you can only fight what your are doing at certain points, but your are not in full control...

 

Oh and yeah, Grey Face... but yeah it's still early alpha.

Update to 0.1d - Replace all bandits with custom NPCs + bug fixes.

I recommend disabling all non-essential mods as there seems to be a problem with bandits caused by some mods.

This content is not final, the mod is in a state of WIP and only has a few quests finished.

I would recommend for you to play only if you are okay with bugs/problems at the moment.

 

What is this mod?

 

This is a story-focused quest mod in which the player can become a slave to a group of bandits staying on an isolated island off the coast of Skyrim. So far there are 5 small-medium sized quests finished. After the player gains their freedom, they will not be attacked by bandits in the wild. This mod is intended to be played as a female character.

 

I recommend playing as a low-level character and not on an important save game.

 

How to Start

Go the Beggar's Row in Riften and talk to Kathel to start the quest.

 

Darkwind Island

 

Darkwind Island is an island fortress built by the imperial legion as an outpost near Skyrim. The island was stormed and overrun by bandits and is now controlled by several clans. The leader of the clans is a bandit called Tercius, the leader of the first attack. The bandits have been kidnapping slaves to use as a workforce and also recruits willing servants for more important jobs.

 

Installation/Uninstallation

To install, extract the contents of the RAR file into your Skyrim Data folder.

Alternatively, use Mod Organizer or NMM.

 

To Uninstall, delete Darkwind.esp, Darkwind.bsa from your Data folder and Darkwind.seq from your Data/SEQ folder.

Or just uninstall with MO or NMM.

I hope you are waiting for bug reports so hers mine.

 

everything went fine up to reaching the island and going to meat Tercius.

Just to explain I usually play with myself added to the bandit factions as they can be so friendly if you know what I mean and had forgotten to reset it using the bat files I use so was immune to any bandits attacks.

 

When I entered Vivian was under attack from the bandits and they would keep attacking each time she recoved, so I made her a member of the bandit faction in the console and she recovered and sat in the chair.

 

Gavel has too much in the corner to sit etc I had to restart as we got all hung up in the funature. I get a CTD if I choose the bed option tried 2 times.

 

Tercius when he says he needs some luck before he goes takes the famale rolls I tried lots of times to reset the animation but he insisted on me doing him.

 

Wait for news to return 24 hours-  I waited 3 days nothing and so I removed this promising mod and am awaiting the next update

 

 

When was it that you tried this? Was it 0.1d?

 

Just because I think I've fixed those problems now.

I managed to get to the end using version ‘D’ I did have a few freezes on entering cells but a reload puts things right.

I am running 128 mods in my load list, 20 of those are Slab mods and only had to disable Lover's Victim to avoid lockups when NPC tried to engage in the middle of other scripts running and Milk mod as I couldn’t get to any machines.

 

I did notice a female guard as you come through the gate at the dock with a moustache and beard not sure if that’s intended.

 

When I saw the guard come in at the end I expected him to say Tercius now believed me after interrogating Gavel.

 

Some Ideas

I liked the atmospheric Crypt and the continual attention from the Argonian’s could be expanded as the player maybe has to go to the mine during the day after her falling out with Tercius and back to the waiting Argonian’s attentions at night. This could go on until Tercius finally lets the player attempt to redeem herself in his eyes.

 

Just a thought but perhaps Gavel could be actively working on his potions after his interrogation but this time to help Tercius now he knows about it.

Maybe Gavel from now on has a guard in his tower to keep him in line as the only reason he is still alive is that he has knowledge that Tercius wants. He could also now have a patch over one eye to indicate he has been tortured.

 

Another thought - The player working and being sent back to the Crypt at night – each time she talks to Tercius there is a topic option in the list that makes Tercius give the player a chance to redeem herself, it would be up to the player by choosing the option to end the working and being sent back to the Crypt cycle.

 

Obviously the player has tasks to complete at the newly acquired Farmer Island maybe escorting the females prisoners back to the main Bandit Island and introducing them to a new slave life with the bandits.

 

There is another option in that Gavel managed to persuade Tercius that it was all my doing and the player has to work their way back up to Tercius’s trust with Gavel knowing I tried to rat on him, so now when I’m sent to help him things can get a bit extreme.

First of all, great mod so far. I really enjoy the direction it is taking and I am looking forward for more. I will add few comments about the story in spoiler.

 

 

So far the story feels a bit linear, different options to solve sub-quests could greatly improve the story from both gameplay POV and RP POV. For example, the jarl is one way to find the secret passage. Eavesdropping on a conversation between the jarl and his guard's captain if you are a sneaking character or even being discovered that you aren't a noble. This could add a lot of replayability to the mod.

I think a bit more story is needed in the begining. I think other people has addressed it but I will mention it as well. Perhaps a bandit encounter before the conversation in Beggar's Row could be used to show why the player would consensually put herself in this servile position to start the quest.

Another issue I have with the story is the way the player is moved from the imperial's isle. It feels very unrealistic that no one notices the boat and how the "noble" leaves. Especially if you have left the jarl alive and made your exit with the key (as a side note, the key isn't really needed imho - the bandits should have someone that can pick the lock).

 

 

 

I also noticed something that could be a bug.

 

 

After the conversation where one of the argonians wants you to clean his cock, before the animation starts, a conversation starts with players reply "..." but then the conversation is interrupted due to the animation starting.

wen you enter Riften (from the main-Gate where the stables are, not the small ones!) go RIGHT and downstairs to the water (canal). The Beggars Row is right opposite of Elgrims Elixir (the alchemy-shop in Riften!) Hope it helps :)  (Now if you are from Germany maybe, than ... könnte ich den Weg auch in deutsch beschreiben... :) )

hmmm odd, I get ctd when the first sex animation trigger, yes I have all that is needed installed, I know it's not a texture and that it's an animation, which? I don't know, I downloaded the newest ZaZ animations an hour ago :/

If this occurs once and you don't have any trouble with animations after you reload your game then most likely it is the bug with Sexlab itself. Sexlab Version 1.59c fixes this mostly but it will still CTD on occasion.

 

If it occurs seemingly randomly, often-times after playing for an hour (+/-), then it may be Sexlab Aroused crashing your game. Try Sexlab Aroused Redux to replace Aroused.

 

If you CTD every time an animation starts then a papyrus log, load order, FNIS report might be helpful in helping you to diagnose the issue.

I think the end is bugged when I get that bar on my neck and wrists and guy comes into dungeon and after he's finished talking I get the "thanks for playing" popup and am sent back to Riften unable to move. The bar device goes away but I think the game registers it still being there making me unable to move.

I get exactly the same - enjoyed the playthrough though - looking forward to future developments. With regard to lack of movement tried "enablePlayerControls", "TCL", coc to Whiterun - no effect. Character can draw weapon and can access inventory but other wise locked in position.

 

Just seen Pinky6225's post on p4 - go to Zaz Animation Pack in the MCM, select Player Control Center and click on Release.

This is only a minor bug...use the ZaZ-Debug Options under MCM (player AI)...(enable this,close menu ,open menu and disable this)

This Mod is in a WIP-Status and not finished... i think,it needs a lot of weeks for the next quests...
