UrbanSniper Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Played through the mod and got the same bugs reported earlier (bloodthirsty bandits, quest sticking at the 24 hour wait, getting stuck when cooking stew in the dungeon; stopped there for the evening), but also noticed that there's some problems with Devious Devices compatibility, namely the gagged speech. If wearing a gag (such as when serving the captain on the trip over), you get the DD gag speech mini game. If you remove the gag, you get the regular 'gagged speech' the quest provides. Oh, also, had the Jarl decide to hide in the wardrobe when he went to get some drinks; waiting for an hour fixed it, though.

Quest seems to be working fine after I used this save, though I still have the anal strapon and 24 hour wait bugs.
atrix Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I made it as far as being in the Zaz device with the argonian prisoners, when the darkwind bandit comes to while being escorted back to the bandit boss he takes me to the door (on AI control) and halts there. No further progress. Have I hit the end? Also had to use setstage to advance as mentioned above the 24 hour wait.
mybrainhurts Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 When that bandit stops in front of the door, that is the end of the quest. But it's not clear it is the end. If you advance the quest DW04 to the next stage (I think it's 80) you will get a messagebox saying it's the end of the quest, that you are being sent back to the Riften docks, all your belongings will be returned to you, and that all bandits are now not hostile to you.

That was LAL character tho. though I still have the anal strapon ... bugs. That's what happens if author declares actors for a scene in wrong order. Female should be declared first, male 2nd. If you do it otherwise you got strapon up the ass action. Btw - that's a scene of good luck sex with bandit boss before he goes to attack that island.
wakokid Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Even with a clean save, I have the same problem with the bandits. I use skirim unbound and I did not use SD + (waiting for the next version , I uninstalled the mod).
formanfred Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Hi IAmTheOneWhoKnocks , I love this mod but just have one question on fares Isle when I talk to Honil she tells me to get into the boat and I get a message saying Completed Fares Island but then it does not advance from there I have tried waiting jumping into the boat still nothing happens is there a consol command that will advance this stage , thank you in advance
Rattlesnark Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Just as note to anyone who may experience crashing right as they click 'New game' or load a previous safe - as in before the game is even able to load anything (skipping even the 'Previously enabled mods are missing, confirm load?' message);It might be because ZAZ is outdated. This mod requires as least the latest version of ZAZ (6.00 at time of posting). I was on 5.61 previously, and it was causing my game crash in the aforementioned manner. Works fine now after updating ZAZ, about to test the mod quest out. EDIT: Oops, missed this post earlier in the thread. Would anyone here with a working Load Order for this mod be willing to post/PM me with it so I can troubleshoot this CTD issue? You'll earn Karma points. EDIT: Found the issue - ZAZ wasn't up-to-date. Go figure.
tndvrs Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I have disabled most of the sexlab mods , like sl defeat sl submit and other mods aswell but the bandits keep attacking aswell the wolves in the KEEP What mods do you have running ? list .!!!! Ah little thing... On arrival on the island could you have some kind of doctor give the player a medical check perhaps a little torture with dildo's and/or plugs. checking on vampirisme so there is a reason to give her some restraints, just in case. this would be a realistic storyline. You do not want to get sick....... do you ????

XJ347 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I like it so far but... Why not have the quest giver say she is getting a job cooking and cleaning, leaving out the sex. Once onboard, the captain summons her and lets her know that she is expected to put out... If she doesn't comply she can swim her way home! The quest can then continue as written from their. Being forced into sex slavery makes more room for roleplay because anyone can be tricked and blackmailed into sex... But as is, you have to be a whore to start the quest, which limits role playing options. It will take a little rewritting to fix, but not much... Mostly the NPC in beggers row, and a few opening lines for the captain. Obviously it is your quest and story... If you want all PC's to be whores that's fine. I will play it regardless! Just giving what I consider constructive criticism.

This NPC keeps spawning in a pillar, i can pull him out with dialogue sex from another mod and he then goes and sits on his throne but when i change cell he goes back into the pillar Its not an actual problem until he wants to walk out of the cell for his raid and then can't unless you've moved him out of the pillar before using the quest dialogue On returning to riften i saw all the messages etc and i have all my stuff but control of my toon wasnt returned so i had to use the zaz mcm release from ai control option

Stil not working with the bandids, perhaps you need to make me member of the faction of bandids the wolves are attacking me too. Oh, and the bandids killed all the slaves too....... Played with the file loaded early in the load order , no change Played with the file as last in load order, no change Hope you can make it working....

There's a keyword "sexlabnostrip" (something like that) that can be applied so that an item isn't unequipped for an animation and there's another keyword that can be applied so that the player can't remove an item. Also, the function used to equip an item has an option to prevent player from unequipping the item. Those are easy things to do so hopefully the author will apply those options to the restraints he uses.

Of course it should go without saying: all of the following is meant to be constructive criticism. I could not even put a house into Skyrim, let alone an entire mod like you. I know it's a lot of work to do such a mod, and I do not take anything for granted or demand things to be changed in YOUR mod, just to make it more pleasing to me (I just needed to write this, I am always afraid to annoy modders if I write something too much ) First, problems: Like so many others here before, yeah, those bandits are hostile and I needed to console-kill them all to get on. It seems to be a problem many have, so maybe it would be nice if in time you could just replace all generic bandits with special darkwind-bandits/pirates? On the ship after the second time with the captain I twice ended right in the "act" outside of the Island, floating in the air...the mod teleported me away too early. The third time it was fine though, not sure about it. Maybe link the "teleport" to the island with the bed - you need to sleep one hour at least, and wake up at the destiantion? Tercius somehow was eager to use his X-men powers and liked to hang out INSIDE walls and pillars. Not sure though what that caused, but I'll mention it. In the dungeon with the three Lizards I am supposed to cook a apple cabbage stew ... but the ingredients are not complete? I suspect this to be a change from another mod used by me though, maybe "Skyre" or a "Needs" mod, that changed the recipe. Would be cool though if some nord mead and green apples were laying around otherwise I can live with using the console to add them Also there, right at the end when they have you put in stocks to kneel in the water ... make it last a bit longer? The guard entered almost immediately, finsihing the mod. Again this should take a bit of time...imho... "Graphical Feedback": Now both islands look nice. Really. Darkwind Island has a very, well, dark feeeling to it already. But it would be cool if over time some more stuff could happen, slaves working here and there, getting punished, Guards patrolling ... the same goes for the second Island (which has a nice Viking-Fortress-Village-Feeling" - adding a bit more life over time would be nice, and I sincerly hope you didn't create that whole island only for the short quest involving it at the moment! Maybe general some more details (straw on the floor, candles, furniture etc) added would be nice as the mod grows, and especially the lighing...I'd make it generally a bit darker, with flickering lights so it really feels less bright and more like torches are the only source of illumination In the dungeon at teh end...well, if possible maybe lower the water-level a bit more...it looks a bit weird when the fuck you head-under-water Story Feedback (Spoilers of course) So...this is really the one I am most concerned with. Because your mod and the idea behind has so much potential, which it already shows...however, depending of course how much time you actually would like to pour into the mod...the story could benefit from a slower pace. I know its still a BETA with many things missing, but...well, I just post away: Beginning: Someone already mentioned it: It might be more interesting to give Kathel more dialogue-branches (as you did with the Argonians?)...have her probing a bit for information first...and maybe have two outcomes: Your player-char could either go the route "I have no problem being a whore for a while", which then would mostly continue as it does atm, or have the player tell her "I mostly do mercenary-work, and such thing", as to which Kathel would try to trick you.... This would lead the boat-captain at the docks to also trick you, and instead of peacefully ending on the ship you get knocked out and wake up there...it would be a bit harsher, rougher path, though it ends up like the other one at Gavel's place... Also, on the ship: Maybe slightly use the enviroment a bit more before the island? Have our player get aquainted with one or two of the slaves on board (the captain for example could order the player and some female slaves to perform a bit for his enjoyment?) And these slaves could potentially be used later in your story if you need characters like them in the plot? On the island: Right when you arrive at teh island my first question was: Why is the captain not outside? Why is nobody there to great him and maybe have a guard or underling lead me to the throne-room? Again, a nice way to introduce a character (for example the guy in the throne-room that has no dialogue atm?) When you report to Tercius: Maybe not have him immediately get you to Gavel. Instead build in one ar two mini-quests first, again to get you aquainted to the island-people (Vivan for example), and create the illusion of some time passing? Now Gavel...again why not have some fun with this char first? He just kinda has you gulp the potion (which, I admit, leads to funny dialogues!), but maybe have him conduct some magical experiments first? A bit to break your will, test your abilities, and then he would recomend to Tercius using you for the undercover-mission. In fact, maybe the whole purpose of getting you to Gavel was to make sure you will be useful in this way for Tercius' plans, but Gavel takes this chance to further his own goals? It just feels kinda weird to be in the island so shortly, and immediately Tercius uses you for such an extremely dangerous and important mission On the second island...again it would benefit from some more time on the island. Yes, we all want to reach the "real" slavery-part quick, but I can see a lot of potential here as well...snooping around hte island to learn more about the defences, maybe have one of the guards become a potential traitor, and a little jealousy-side-quest with the Jarl's frigid wife? However, the actual "seducing" of the Jarl is very good idea, I really like it! Back on Darkwind: Again, some errand-runs/fucks in-between the next major plotpoint might held a bit. And I really think the player shouldn't tell Tercius was the culprit. Of course I don't know what you plan, but atm it feels a bit like you are wasting maybe a good char and plot-driver for future quests. With proper set-up, why not framing someone else for the dirty deed? Maybe Vivian? He would not only punish you, but also his favorite concubine/wife? Which again could lead to wonderful story-moments ... also with Gavel still around while you are a slave, he makes a perfect antagonist, and give the player a goal to finish the the mod and have a pay-off in the end when Gavel gets exposed ... ? Also, I really REALLY hope you make good use of those pit-wolves as the mod goes on! :lol: Okay, that was a lot of writing, I hope you are not mad about this Whatever you do, I hope you go on with the mod in a way you have fun. It has so much potential to become something special ... a story-driven slave-mod for the player is really soemthing we need! Keep modding! I'll keep an eye on this mod for sure ... and will also post my thoughts (or not, if you don't want to!)
