Is there a console command to bypass the part where it says try on the strange woman's suit, and mask

Do you have all the mods this mod requires active?

Skipping the first quest is not a good idea - if it breaks here you would run into more serious issues later.

Yes, there is. Problem is: I'm on the wrong system right now so I can't look it up. I believe the quest name is tir_start01. Find out which stage it currently has ('getstage tir_start01') and then increment it by 10 (use 'setstage').

It just says Item 'tir_start40' nor found for parameter quest

Why are you typing tir_start40 in the first place?

Cause thats the stage it was on so wanted to skip it as it's not working properly

Hmm, if it's not working correctly immediately, that's not a good sign about the overall stability of your mods in general.

Alternatively, makes sure you have the latest version of TiR, also, uhhhh, go into sexlab (I think) or Devious devices MCM, and make sure that there's nothing equipped to your character in the "Devices Underneath" categories.

That's not what I meant. If it's at stage 40 and you want to skip it, you need to add 10 (I usually increase stages in steps of 10). So you want to go to stage 50. To do that, you use the 'setstage' command (as I wrote earlier).

Example:

setstage tir_start01 50

So if you're at the stage where you're supposed to put on the suit, it will now tell you to put on the mask. Go to stage 60 if that doesn't work either.

But if you keep having problems, you probably need to check your setup. Eventually, you'll run into something you can't console around anymore.

I had a few things selected on it so I disabled them should I save and reload and also do I disable the item hider slot it says Device Hider + Long hair (41)

Already ran into another problem the slave never bursted in after the rubber mail quest not sure I can console this one

In theory, you can. But I don't know the quest name off hand (might be tir_twr_hunt01) or the stages.

I don't want to be mean, but I really don't have the time to tell you every single bypass you're going to need. Because that thing will just keep happening until the underlying issue is fixed.

Learn and experiment on your own or try to fix the problem.

I've replayed the entire storyline. I'm really looking forward to the next version, this mod is always so much fun to play. Did you find the zipperless suits I made. I am making some improvements so that transparent suits also work properly.

You mean the normal map for Rubbermatt's flat version? Then yes. Will probably become the new default, provided I don't make a fomod installer (jury is still out on that).

I'd love to see a zipper less suit, just like the neck entry ones available today!! I don't mind the seams, but I do mind the big ugly zippers.... :-)

Oh, yeah. I meant the zippers. Somehow I confused "seams" with "zippers". How could I? Them evil zippers! Good rubber suits have no way of opening them up once they're equipped! Everyone knows that!

Well the seamless, zipperless bit is easy enough, it's just a bunch of textures, the suits themselves are completely smooth all the detail is in the normal maps. So solid blocks of colour matching all the variations in this mod with a completely smooth normal map, made them myself so no problem with redistribution. All you have to do is drag & drop into the TiR catsuits texture folder & overwrite the existing files. (after backing up the existing ones first obviously) Haven't done anything with the inflatable body suit yet, but I think it uses the catsuit normal anyway.

I can send all those I have done to you, maybe put them up as an optional 'seamless' pack? Totally TiR lore friendly after all, seeing as the suits are created with magic why would they have seams and zippers? :D

The heels and hood are a bit more problematic, first up I used one of the hoods from the Nova suit set then edited it in Nifskope to make it smooth and seamless, need to check whether the author allows altering & including in other morphs. Next I used the shoes from Xinafays High Heels 1.3, again edited in Nifskope, including a bit of jiggery pokery with the normals to get the smooth rubber look where the default female foot would be. Most importantly I've switched over to the NIO heels system built into RaceMenu, added the necessary settings to the nifs and stripped all hdtHH references out of the mods I'm using. So if anyone still using hdtHH tries to use these shoes their PCs feet will sink into the ground.

(Why use NIO? Well after a little editing with the CK every woman in Skyrim is now wearing 6" stilettos, all of them from Ysolda to some random bandit, with no hit to performance because I don't have the hdtHH spell effect trying to apply itself to dozens of NPCs at once, the NIO effect is built into the footwear itself and applies automagically.)

Attached the textures for those who know what they're doing, minimal memory footprint, maximum seamlessness.

I had a quick look at those textures and they truly look seamless and ziperless, but I actually really like the seams on the rubber suits - seams make them look better.

And I think GreySpammer just wanted to get rid of the zippers (based on previous posts) and just mixed the word seams with zippers :)

Each to their own, personally I've spent quite a bit of money over the years on fetish gear with as few seams as possible. The day someone like Libidex creates a completely seamless suit I'll be out robbing a bank so I can buy one (not touching the moulded suits already out there with a barge pole, moulded latex tears all too easily).

Meanwhile giving myself a major headache trying to get an all-in-one suit into Skyrim (minus the tentacles)

I can get it into Blender and reduce the mesh resolution so that it will convert to a nif easily enough. Its the bit after that where it all goes a bit pear shaped.

Anyone know any good tutorials? the ones I've found tend to miss some fairly major steps because the authors assume familiarity with the tools.

(Plus Blender 2.49 is a horribly clunky piece of crap. Someone really needs to make Niftools for the latest version).

Personally I like seams, because seams are realistic and seams are the best we can do in this day and age.  A lack of seams in anything but a futuristic context looks like lazy modeling/art to me. (your image I like and would be exempt, for example.)

Wouldn't a seamless suit have to be moulded? I can't see any other way around it! But I agree, when someone invents the made-to-measure neck-entry catsuit... we'll have to coordinate which banks we're robbing so we don't overlap.

Well Rubbermatt, if you are that passionate about totally seamless suits, why don't you create a mod for the mod :-) Literally, make a mod that mods TIR !!! This way, everyone that have the same feelings about rubber as you do can get their way!!!.

I already have to an extent, and that's why I uploaded those textures, so anyone else can just copy them into their TiR textures directory if they so desire.

The actual modded mod is a pretty ugly kludge job, hacked together out of parts of other mods. Apart from getting permissions to redistribute, it simply is not in any fit state to be shared with anyone at this moment.

Hence why I'm trying to get the suit pictured above into the game, mostly as proof of concept at this point, but then you'd have an enchanted suit that looks like it's fused itself together after you put it on.

If I can get the damned thing to work.

I had come to the same conclusion.

Then they started making 3D printers that can print clothes.

It wasn't that long ago that the idea of having a 3D printer in your home was like something out of The Jetsons. Today you can get one for the price of a secondhand car.

Now that the catwalks of the world are thronging with 3D printed fashion collections I don't think it'll be too long before we start seeing the first 3D printed fetish gear. So, futuristic? Yeah, but it's near future now "Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon ..."

(The pic is from a series featuring an alien symbiote that looks a bit like the 'Black Oil' from the X-Files that's taken a crew member as a host and is now running around the ship infecting other crew members. At the point I've got to in writing the story half the crew have been captured, the girls transformed into rubber goddesses and the guys cocooned & glued to the walls 'for later'. Started as a rude Trek parody & just snowballed out of control. But I'm still getting that bloody suit into Skyrim if it kills me.)

Great mod overall.  I started to have a lot of issues with it not working toward the end and had to use the console to start, continue, and finish the Rubber Boon quest, and I had to use the console to start the Rubber Epilog(ue) quest because after 4 days of no courier, I realized that the quest hadn't been started when I finished the previous one.  And then my character couldn't move, so I had to set stage 20 in the debug quest.  Also, ground models for the rubber clothing have the wrong textures selected, so most look blue in the inventory menu.

The dialogue was smooth and believable, and grammatical mistakes were relatively few, given the number of lines in the mod.  Just a missing word here or there or a misspelling mostly.  Only two glaring mistakes that left me wondering what was just said for a moment.  With the exception of the quests that didn't start properly or The Mistress sometimes being MIA (moveto player fixed it), I found the story weird, perverse, and a good amount of fun.

Too bad about Raynila though.  Jirisiel is fucking crazy.  Were it an option, now that I stopped Enaron, I'd murder the entire tower of rubber bitches and free the slaves.

That's why I made it so you can use your boon to set Raynila free, if you sympathise with her so much. Maybe I'll also add some money for her in that case. She had fallen on hard times after Enaron fired her, so perhaps if she gained some financial security at the end, at least some good would have come out of it. We'll see.

so i just finished the rubber school quest how ever there was one question i didnt seem to have there that might cross a mind of someone trapped like that, that how i pee/poo with such suit on. maybe add question & explanation from mistress on updated version about this one

Evette San is dead due to vampires long before I started this mod... What do I do?

Open console and type in "player.placeatme 000198B3 1" without the "" marks.

Then do her quest and after it select her while in console and type kill to lessen the change for weird stuff later.

this would fit for me :D im not so much about immersion rather than the shape of human body in these suits.

Well, you're not supposed to "spam e". You defeat her, then the quest progresses and you can activate her again to "bind" her via a dialogue option. If that doesn't work, then something else is overriding the dialogue.

After that, you should see the scene with the cart and then be back in the Tower. If the Mistress is gone, use the console to get her back ('prid xx067a9b', 'moveto player'). Then you should be able to complete the quest.
