Hi. I'm digging the ability to be restrained in furniture while my master is asleep. Problem is, I keep getting a "cage failed alias" message around midnight. Looks to be related to sdqs_enslavement or something similar. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I'm not sure how SDpatches handles followers during SD enslavement:

> PC gets enslaved via SD+

> followers get enslaved via SD+ and send to Mistwatch (if all goes well)

> SDpatches cage scene starts for the night

> all followers get called back from Mistwatch to line up to get caged with the PC in one cage

=> not a problem if I have only one follower, but with 4+ followers sdpatches gets issues to get them all into the cage (especially if there is already a NPC slave in there)

=> this causes an endless scene with followers and PC standing in front of the cage while SDpatches seems to calculate possible ways to get all those pixels into that small cage

=> scene gets stuck (doesn't break but never continues)

 

Would it be possible:

> to leave followers in Mistwatch? I'm always happy if SD+ manages to get them there and keep them there too.

> emergency button to stop a SDpatches scene if stuck? SDpatches scenes get stuck >25% of the time, especially with cages not placed by you (SDcages). Waiting a hour works sometimes, but more often the night is over from waiting rather than SDpatches manages to get everyone locked up for the night.

 

EDIT: if SDpatches already only moves followers into a cage that are in the same cell, then it's petcollar's fault to call the followers back from mistwatch in the first place :classic_ph34r:

Bad thing: She doesn't stop trying

SDpatches would win a lot more reliability if there would be a way to stop a scene or talk to the master for alternatives and flag that cage door as a no-no.

Or a key to tell SDpatches to try another cage?

SOMETHING!

Atm scenes like this just get stuck.

@Inte Any chance for adding patch that will add equip devices "event" for humanoid creatures like giants and rieklings for some reason they only equip collars, but no wrists restraints not even default sd restraints.

Yes, I can add a distance check for the caged followers.

Just use SUM. 

  1. In SUM MCM select your PC.
  2. Hit your AI hotkey. 
  3. Choose 'Stop Current Scene'.
  4. Any running scene involving your PC should stop, including the SDc one.

I don't think SDc does that, I'll have to have another look, either way I will add a followers distance check.

It's a bit dark, but I take it, it's a very narrow cage?

You can wait until the morning and then stop the scene with SUM.

Why do I have that odd feeling you explained that one already to me a while ago? ?

Ah! I always ONLY spammed the AI hotkey as solution for EVERYTHING, with expected results ?

This is right in the Incompatibilities section of the description of the mod.  But you just updated SD Patches.  Who do I believe...?

You’ll have to ask in the SD+ thread.

In my last tests everything was working fine, as I am using the StorageUtil variable provided by @DeepBlueFrog for this very situation.

Cages scenes stopped working for me some time ago. Is there a way to check if the quest is running and to restart it?

Updated to latest SDP and SUM, running the latest SD+ as well.

I think it's related to the old SD patches for version 2044(?), means the warning is for this one: Old SD2+ Patches - Do not use with SD3+.7z

 

The new SDpatches and the new SD+ work very well together!

 

Just had a 6 RL-hour  "SD/SDpatches (all newest versions) + SDcages + Corsec patches + Captives" experience and I still suffer from sleep deprivation (ingame with iNeed and in RL thx to biology).

At least I wasn't alone:

Not directly an escape, but at least we got those vampire masters into the open.

(yes also hired a vampire thx to TDF prostitution (=rises relationship rank so vampires can be hired) and NFF)

Updated to latest SDP and SUM, running the latest SD+ as well. 

In console type, 'Help _SDP_ 3' 

Make sure both globals there are set to 0. 

_SDP_State_Secure - something like that, and the orther is _SDP_State_InCage, maybe?

Not only that. Thx to Sexlife Meat was running around and offered her services. Those vampires where really lazy ?

 

I should install PetCollar again to give those slaves something to do ?, but frist I want to test how well SDpatches now works with followers (and without the PetCollar effect that might mess up Cage Time scenes).

 

If the SDcages captives fall out of their restrains they never find their way back in. I guess they aren't into self bondage.

I'm surprised that MEAT became a full fledged follower. Even if she is running away every time there is a battle (set to cowardly in NFF).

She became a useful Pony-mule tho and can tank multiple hostiles by just running away.

 

I was sure it would have issues to make her a follower, because I thought she would try to run back to her wall restrains all the time.
