If you don't change their outfit then when they go through a loading-door the game will revert them to their outfit which undoes any changes made. If you want to provide a configurable outfit though you will find that you cannot add, change or remove items from existing outfits because no SKSE extensions were made and of course the idiots at Bethesda never conceived of the idea that people would like to be able to script such things. However, there is a solution. You can have an outfit that contains only a leveled list and you can add or remove items from that leveled list and thus you can create outfits that can be scripted.

You can have an outfit that contains only a leveled list and you can add or remove items from that leveled list and thus you can create outfits that can be scripted. dm2 already had the "stop wearing your default outfit" dialog, but i also added "wear this shit" for the next version. they still behave as they normally would, choosing what they think is the best out of what they have, so to get them to wear specific things you should take away what you dont want them to wear.

With Manipulator i can take them away... at this point i could give them what I want them to wear. But this is a workaround. I'm more thinking about an option like 'give me your Armot/Put this on' or something like that... Would make Things easier for me. The best would be: 'Replace that Manequin...' (I guess that would be a bit degrading.... and perhaps not so easy to realize... But it would be cool...)
