That shouldn't be a problem, you can always start a new game and make the DCL configs there. But it helps if you have exported the configs some point so you don't need to redo every setting. I have made it a habit to export after most changes i do.

You can export your current settings on the save where you're locked out.

Import them to one where you're not locked away.

Then change the settings to not lock you out.

Then export those settings.

Then import them on the save where you were locked out.

 

That's what I always do.

I think there might be some kind of a conflict with armbinder idle animation, or any idle that modifies position of the arms, if cover animation is allowed. Basicaly, if PC gets naked and cover animation idle kicks in, then if armbinder is equipped, arms stay locked in cover idle and hands just turn invisible. Only way to get rid of it is to get out of the device that is locking your hands (so that idle is reset to default until cover idle kicks in again), putting some chest armor/clothing on (to clear the cover animation), turning off cover animation in MCM (because if you uncheck it first and get dressed later, you stay in cover idle even with clothes on) and re-equiping device you first unequipped.

 

Not even sure if it is DCLs fault, just wanted to let you know.

I've got two questions for kimy or anyone else that knows the answer:

 

1)  where can I find key fragments for the slave chastity belt?  Are they supposed to appear in chests or something, because I've been locked in one for about 4 hours and I haven't stumbled upon a single fragment.

 

2)  What is the damsel in distress quest?  I've never triggered it and it's not in the description.  The only reason I know about it is because it has it's own section under event parameters in the MCM.

1) 5 body restraints keys at the same time. It can be frustrating if you lose all your keys before getting the 5th.

 

2) I haven't seen it either. Did it mean cursed collar quest? I'm heading to sleep now so won't check ingame. Otherwise it could be some disabled quest.

2) Damsel in Distress is an event where your character get kidnapped, trapped in several restraints at the same time forced in a cage while in a hogtie position. You have to force your way out of the hogtie then search repeatedly for a key to open the cage while you are still bound, gagged and blind folded (although with the latest changes to the way the blindfold system works, that shouldn't be a problem). When you escape the cage you have to search all over for keys for all the devices. Each device requires several keys for the type of restraint (body restraint keys for body restraints, chastity is among these, head restraint keys for head restraints, hand restraint keys for hands, leg restraint keys for you get the picture). The keys are consumed on use so you need to keep hunting for them. Better hope the DiD key drop modifier is not set too low or you may never get out. ?

Thanks for the info.  One more question:  how do you actually trigger the damsel in distress quest?  it's not in the events section of the MCM

Oh, it body restraint keys.  I thought it was chastity key fragments 1 through 5 that unlocked you.  I guess that's for a different quest.

 

I didn't mean the cursed collar quest.  If you look under the event parameters section of the MCM you can set the key drop rate for the Damsel in distress quest, but that's the only mention of it.  It's not in the events section of the MCM.  Seph64 (guy right below your original response) says its an event where you have to escape from being kidnapped, hogtied, and thrown in a cage, but I can't figure out how to trigger it.

It triggers the same way random devices get trapped on you; by looting containers, opening doors, etc.

Damsel in Distress got broken a while back, so it's currently disabled, as I am making up my mind what to do with it.

did you look into the tattoo thing? i would love to have that as a possible trap outcome, or as part of a quest. i personaly love the tattoo, which is locatet in the chastity belt which reads: if you can read this, punish me for not wearing my belt...

Regarding the Damsel quest, i think it's fun, but it takes a really long time to remove everything. i think it took me around 1h (i have a high key drop chance, but also a high trap rate).

now usually when i get it, i reload the last save or use the free me button. but the start where you have to struggle is pretty fun, maybe you change it, that you have the keys, but you have to unlock everything. maybe with some added fun time if you fail to often or take too long.

 

Edit: maybe remake it with the different bondage furniture that will be added?

Well that would explain why I haven't encountered it.  While I've got your attention, I'd like to ask you about a few bugs (maybe bugs) I've encountered.  

 

When an enemy surrenders to me (though combat surrender), some of the options don't work properly.  I can rob, add restraints, and rape (once restraints are in place), but the other options don't work.  killing them makes them disappear like they've been disabled, but I can't re-enable them through console commands.  They also won't fallow me when I order them to.

 

My other bug might not actually be a bug.  When I'm left in the wilderness (consequence of combat surrender), my character just kind of lays their in the hogtie position.  I know there's a struggling hogtie animation, because I've seen it run when getting pushed to the ground during rape events.  Is the struggling hogtie animation supposed to play during left in the wilderness events?

Try runing fnis and check sexlab is installed and working right... and updated

The rape triggers seem to be completely broken in v6.4. I have all possible rape conditions enabled, my char is naked, unarmed, 100% aroused yet it says in the mcm my char isnt vulnerable to rape and no one rapes her. And i have rape enabled checked in the mcm. What gives? Not even while wearing the rubberdoll suit have i ever been raped. Even when it said in the top left "X is going to rape you"

I have definitely seen rapes happen from DCL in 6.4. But it's only my recent mod set that i may also have seen that rarely nothing happens on "X is going to rape you". So it's most likely some bad interaction with other mod or your save is overloaded with scripts. There is also lots of things you can configure related to it in MCM, so maybe you did something wrong. Maybe set it so that only 1 condition is enough and increase the chance for it to happen. As for the animations part, [Solicitation] works for you always?

 

But i like DEC's triggering more (Deviously Enslaved Continued), if you want to give it a try. The npc don't just teleport on you, but they run towards and start a dialog. There are more things that can happen to you, depending on if you have a follower.

Can someone test out the Heavy Gag Harness with shouting? I was able to shout when I learned the first word of unrelenting force. Heavy Gag Harness being, well, a gag should prevent all shouts.

 

Also; is it ever gonna to get ported to the new unlock system? I "Manipulated" the locks when I put it on, but it still insists on consuming a restraint key when I take it off.

There are many "heavy" items that can't be manipulated, i assumed it's on purpose. But after trying to manipulate they ask you second time if you are sure you want to put it on.

I haven't had any problems with rape triggering in 6.4, assuming DCL is working at all, and if you somehow got stack dumped, it might not be.

 

However, it doesn't scan very often, presumably to reduce load, so you might find sometimes rapes don't happen when they think you should or take a while, and other times happen right away.

 

Another mod with a ton of rape options, more modern than DEC, and with a bit more awareness of the existing mod-scape, is Sexlab Adventures.  Despite its name, it's aware of devious items. It is actively developed, has a range of follower options, and may well get more in the future. I'd think most people here know all about it, but for the occasional new visitor it might be news.

Suggestion: Self Bondage Sleeping.

Gives the player the option to engage in self bondage while sleeping. This increases the resting bonus that the player receives but increases the chance of being messed with.  Outcomes could include: All keys stolen leaving the player stuck in bondage longer than planned, bondage rape, kidnapped and left in the woods, kidnapped and sold into slavery or more bondage items added (like by jack the belter) with keys stolen.

 

Suggestion: Ring Gag NPC Interactions.

If the player is wearing a ring gag, there is a chance that NPCs will feed the player random items, simply because they can. This could include food, ingredients, potions, drugs or poisons.

 

Suggestion: Ethereal Bondage Items.

These items would have the ghostly look like bound weapons. These are what would be applied by the bondage spells. Like bound weapons they would only last for a min  and disappear. Because they disappear on their own, they would be impossible to remove via any other means.  If these were implemented, you could create a cursed bondage item that randomly applies ethereal bondage items once an hour until removed.

Ugh i can't stand when something happens to glitch out in the inventory AND IS STUCC on me plus disappearing from my inventory completly and then i have to use the console to permanently delete it ?, i wish there was an alternative way to fix this it doesn't happen often infact only happened maybe 2 times in a playthrough in the past month, But trying to use the debug to remove the bad restrain did nothing. And it was that black rubber mask with eye holes. 

 

I'm probably not the only one who ran into this issue before.
