About to go to sleep and I see cursed loot has updated.  WHELP it's a good thing tomorrow is Friday.

The text showing version 6.4 is nothing, it simply means that the text wasn't changed to say 7.0.

DCL is 7.0, you can see that by the "Active Quest Running: False," which is a new feature in 7.0

Deviously Cursed Loot LAL AddOn.esp still lists a dependency on ZaZAnimationPack.esm in the File Header.  (I'm using Tes5Edit to view).  Turns out that the "Clean Masters" option will remove it as it does not need to be there.

 

Edit: ZaZAnimationPack.esm is also listed in ModuleConfig.XML

Awesome update.  Currently stuck in the Supply and Demand Quest line, specifically the first errand "lost shipment". I am not having a lot of luck finding it,, 

 

(More details in spoiler so as not to spoil the fun for those who haven't tried it yet and don't want any broken surpises. )

I have raided caves, bandit camps and forts etc ..  I have opened a dozen or more Boss chests and still no shipment. Is it a low drop rate and I am just unlucky or is it open a lot of chests until you eventually find it,,  

 

Cloe Start quest was a lot of fun..  Nice job on getting the balance just right.

So I've finished the supply and demand quest and I'm stuck in the maid boots.  I can't unlock them and DCL doesn't remove them even with safe word.  Of course maybe something console related I haven't tried will work but DCL has fought every attempt to remove them that way.

I'm trying the Chloe quest, and when I try to squeeze through the collapsed passage (the head deeper into the ruins objective) it just teleports me a few meters over to the bridge nearby.

 

I'm guessing it's not supposed to be doing this? Is there a way to bypass it?

Yeah Im getting the same issue too. I've searched every nook and cranny but Im not finding an imperial or any dead body with special loot and I've searched the same dead bodies multiple times too. I All I am getting is an arrow to an ash pile which I click on and all it dead it teleport me to  the other side while still pointing back to the ash pile.

@Pluslo @ Majin Buu. as far as I know when you clock on the ash pile...you will get teleported to the other side of the rocks. that is intended. the quest marker despite pointing to the other side of the rocks...it is not important. as you go further into the cave...you will find several imperial bodies which you can loot and you can progress to the next stage. 

@Kimy..love the Chloe content...was just wondering whether there was any method to activate the Dom follower system ? thanks again for the update

OK thats the issue then, When I teleport to  the other side, there are no imperial bodies to loot. They are not loading in. Well I switched over to loose scripts . Will see if that makes a diff. Also lower on my load order int he left column in MO.

 

EDIT: I dont know if it was because I switched to loose scripts or because I saved and reloaded, but bodies finally appeared after the ash pile and IO can progress.

Thanks for the response. Yeah the teleporting didn't really serve a purpose which was why I was so confused. I just went further into the cave and found what I needed.

Teleporting is probably for live another life where the wall doesn't crumble. I always had to teleport forward

Your log does seem to be pointing at FNIS though...

Have you checked your FNIS outputs are all there? And not with weird permissions so Skyrim can't access them or something?

Thanks so much for this Kimy.

 

What a fantastic release you have treated us to, with enhancements and improvements almost everywhere, and attention given to a range of features far beyond my expectations.

 

If I have a complaint, it's that I will be totally addicted to Skyrim for weeks to come trying all this out.

 

 

I can't wait to get into the new material, try the new start, experiment with Leon and Leah again after so long, and hardcore Sasha by default.

 

Maybe I am especially lucky for this release, but it sounds like everything I could wish for is in there in one form or another.

 

 

I can imagine that many long hours of work went into this. I appreciate it, really, I do.

Does anyone know if the restraints added as a punishment for trying to steal the key from dominant follower (I'm testing hardcore Sasha) have a timer? I was put in a heavy yoke, and since Sasha takes away all the keys I can't really imagine how to get free in a non-cheating way.

So i started as LAL addon's enslaved princess, finished Chloe quests and 1 supply and demand from dollmaker. All 3 have in common that player is slowed down far too much, it just makes it take longer time in real life and it feels frustrating. Speedmult in the LAL quest was down to 20% because carryweight was set to negative. 70% movement speed with the most restricting hobble dress would sound about right in my opinion. I propably started playing 8 hours ago? I'm unemployed with next to infinite free time so i don't have a problem, most people might...

 

Also the supply and demand being about gathering ingredients around Riften while slowed down by heavy bondage.

I had to go to nearest farm for chicken egg, swim to the island in the middle to get nirnroot and fast travel to Dragonsreach keep's kitchen for leek. Poor innkeeper in the Ragged Flagon must be sad now with cold and spoiled hamburger. Cleaning quest was fine, but these ingredients were just too far around.

 

And yes, in Riften i had already checked the inn and Jarl's keep for leek and nirnroot but there were none.

 

Oh, and when i returned to dollmaker, she didn't remove the maid chains and boots.

I noticed your NPCs have a red forehead.

I had that too in with my actors. I openend the CK and looked at Leah. The FemaleUpperEyeSocket.dds, FemaleLowerEyeSocket.dds and FemaleHeadNord_Lips.dds were all applied to her forehead for some reason. Setting the interpolation to 0 always works for me.

The MCM tooltip for the Shopping Quest tells us that the quest can only be started when your wrists are bound. But I think that that's no longer that case.

When talking to Vekel the Man for the Supply And Demand quest. he said "Oh, she wants me special stuff again. And lot's of it." That line sounds weird to me. I don't know if that's intended, but I suggest something like: "Oh, right. She wants my special stuff again, and lots of it."

I just bought Sasha and I wanted to ask her to dominate me. But the option "Ok, you've had your fun. Stop dominating me!" was already available. I did get the right option after I released her from the belt.

After the Supply And Demand quest, I noticed that the restraints from that quest were still in my inventory. They weren't destroyed when the were unequipped.

I had to search Nazeems chest. I openend the chest with the key, took the book and read it. But the quest didn't progress. I also tried reading it before I took it out, but nothing worked. The queststage was at 170 before and after opening the chest.

EDIT: The Chloe quest progressed correctly on the 5th try. I didn't do anything special that time, but I guess it solved itself.

 

EDIT2: I wanted to start the quest to become Leon's slave. But Claudius keeps telling me that I can't bring a follower with me. I don't have a follower with me, but the dcur_hasfollowers shows as 1. So I used "set dcur_hasfollowers to 0". But it keeps setting it to 1 whenever I talk to him.

I did dismiss Chloe before I started the quest, that could have something to do with it.

 

EDIT3: The follower things was solved by dismissing Chloe and waiting 2 hours before starting the quest.

But teleporting to the mansion still freezes my game 3/5 times.

I also would like to request that version numbers be updated for all future versions because installing /uninstalling any dd mods these days is getting too confusing in NMM as you don't know which one to update  anymore.
