I've had quite a bit of trouble with the end of the Bondage Adventure quest; there's a pretty high probability that the inescapable armbinder and the corset will not be unequipped - and the former cannot be removed by any means at that point.  The problem, looking at my logs, is that DDi is convinced that it has caught a 'remove all' operation in progress and re-equips the devices immediately.

 

Now, the peculiar games DDi plays with corset and belt immediately preceded this failure (unequipping the belt), so that might be related.  Or it could be simple timing.

 

It might be good for the quest to check that everything was actually removed, before it terminates (thus allowing for repeating the removal dialogue as necessary).

If you are going to be using SPERG, (which is good/lightweight and less fiddly than other options), ensure that you also follow the requirements and install the community uncapper. (Otherwise you'll get a perk at every level, rather than the intended every other level).

Just a quick question, what exactly does the frostfall patch do? Is it adding exposure protection to the devious devices? or is it to make sure the devices don't interfere with protection from your armor?

Have a problem with "Sex attack" module.

First off, noticed my character could not die anymore.

Secondly, if I uncheck Sex attacks, my character will die immediately. If I remove the mod, same thing. Immediate death upon loading.

Not sure if there is a way to fix my save without going back a long while or if there is a console fix..

That gal can be found in Dawnstar, at one of the houses at the coast.

Have a problem with "Sex attack" module.

Sounds like the mod had set you as essential, there was a similar bug that occured when removing a mod called Player Knockout. There was an uninstall button you had to click before removing it or that exact problem would happen.  I don't really know how the sex attacks work since I never used that part, but maybe using the cursed loot uninstall button will fix the issue?

One of those of you having the god mode issue could please post a log and a more detailed description of what's happening there (e.g. is the character still getting healed up or triggers one of the outcome scenarios etc.).

 

Today I have seen that I am essential too.

So I load my old saves and tried to find out when it happend.

And it happend right after installing the new version.

 

I have a save game in Breezehome. After deinstalling 4.9 and installing 4.10.

When I wait for the MCM and take a look at the debug section I can see that I am not essential.

The next save (still in Breezehome) after playing with the settings says that I am essential.

 

I have made anaother test: Load my first DCL 4.10 game again, wait for the MCM, seeing I am not essential, set my settings, leave the MCM, look in the MCM again and now I am essential.

 

Another load and another test. Now I left the MCM a few times while doing my settings and I am still unessential after I have done all my settings.

Next test:

The same save and again I set everything at once and I am essential.

 

I have done this a few times and it's always the same:

If I do all seetings at once I will end essential (after leaving the MCM and open it again)

If I do it step by step, leaving the menu and open it again I can do all my settings and I am not essential.

very odd.

I have a log file and I can see a few errors from old mods. I will try to clean my save and test if I can reproduce this behavior again

I contributed a set of Khajiit and Argonian headgear meshes to DDa so hopefully they'll be integrated in the next release. Then they should automatically work with DCL.

 

I haven't looked at the hoods yet though.

 

 

Oh my! That's Great news to hear for me, I'm not sure how thanks are measured but please, have a boat-load.

 

I'll be patiently and eagerly keeping my eye out for them :>

i just tried the new breast size meets arousal function. seems very incompatible with my body mod. they distorted very early on at 25% increase. not that i complain!

my chars breasts have already been acting up due to various modes such as hormones i believe. 

 

even bigger size would just make me vomit anyway of how unrealistic it would look compared to my real self. because i still am doing my best to keep my char looking just like me as much as possible. adds immersion drastically  ;)

Mind you that being Essential is an -intentional- change in 4.10, when the combat surrender feature is active. What's not intentional is that the combat surrender doesn't trigger according to some reports. However, I am still waiting on confirmation that this happens for installations -without- PerMa in the load order. If this issue can be assumed to be caused by PerMa, I will just close the support ticket as I don't support any issues involving that mod.

There are sliders in MCM you can define the range for breast scaling with. The default is a fairly wide range because this feature is meant to be a visual indicator for your arousal, so it needs to be noticeable, but nothing keeps you to change it to fairly realistic values.

 

I enjoy making characters that resemble me as closely as possible too, btw. Racemenu and Apachii Hair FTW (I have no idea why so few games bother to implement long hair out of the box - it annoys the heck out of me in many MMOs that offer something looking like three different kinds of buzz cuts for female characters, ugh!) :)

Finally got around to trying this mod, kicking myself for not having tried it sooner.

 

Bad time to supply new suggestions (right after new release when bugs are flitting everywhere) but I'll forget if I wait too long so:

 

This mod has the BDSM stuff but is a little light on actual BDSM activity so I'd like to propose a new trap type: The whippingpunishment trap, if you don't have Captured Dreams installed or have a neutral Sub/Dom rating (10) in Captured dreams you either randomly whip one of your followers, or get whipped by one of your followers. Above neutral you always whip a follower and of course below you always get whipped. For each two points up or down an additional follower is included until you are whipping the maximum five followers or they are whipping you.

If you have no followers then perhaps using the same bandits as for the sex attacks would work. Spanking could also randomly be substituted for whipping in the above.

 

That would add some BDSM activity to the traps and help flesh out the whole BDSM theme of the mod. Come to think of it, instead of just getting fucked as actions by those who notice those who are naked or bound etc you could add whipping and spanking as alternate activities that could be applied in those cases as well.

I've just reproduced the problem with combat surrender not kicking in for low health.  PerMa is not involved (nor is SPERG, SkyRe, DAYMOYL, Defeat, Submit, etc.).  The surrender by hotkey is working fine, but there is no indication in the log that DCUR is even sensing the hits.  Brand new character.

 

Right, just to confirm - surrendering using hotkey works, but no trace at all from enemy hits in the log?

Pinute posted a step-by-step guide how to identify mods that change child characters in problematic ways a few hours ago. To the best of my knowledge, my code works as intended.

 

 

Yep, PCEA changes the child flag. I've updated the previous post to reflect that, and included a better example picture.

 

Edit: Jkllkj, you can use Tes5edit to put the child flag back into PCEA. From what I know it shouldn't break anything non-PCEA related. I've never used PCEA so YMMV.

 

 

 

I too encounter the problem that cursed loot accuses me of using child abuse mods in my skyrim. I dont have any. I do use PCEA since years though. So I used tes5edit and added the missing child flag following

Nonetheless at startup I still get the message. If I check again, the child flag at 2c65b is present.

Can we please get an cursed loot update without this check, similar to the last version?

 

 

What's probably happening here is that you've already seen Braith and her child flag is baked into your save, similar to how Lydia still uses male animations if you add one of the mods that remove the opposite gender animation flag from her after she's been assigned as your housecarl. 

 

Try a new game with your modified PCEA.

Just started to have a strange problem. Some of the restrains, like the WT-ebonite custom slave harness, dont show up on the body. When equipped the harness appare for a split second then disappear. The harness is equipped in the inventory and the dialouge tell that im visible bound but it just dont show on the body. Other harnesses, like the standard harness (the one wich need no keys) show up just fine. Anyone else have had anything like this happend?

 

Try the MCM for DDi under devices underneath. I had something similar that was resolved for a bit with changing this. In the end I just upgraded to 4.9 and then 4.10 as my issue had been with 4.6.

So the exhibitionist suit appears to have the same effect as the slut collar. But what does Dibella's charm do, besides give the (defensive and regenerative) collar enchantment effects? I ran around with it for a while, didn't see its advertised drawback come into play at all. Uncertain if it's working in my game.

Correct.  Looking at the control flow for the OnHit event in dcur_clocktickRefScript.psc, there are lots of different ways that could happen.  I'll see if I can narrow it down to which path it actually took.

 

Edit: OK, that was pretty easy: the OnHit event is returning due to the OnHitCooldown check.  The variable is (in this instance) 6840.72, while GetCurrentRealTime returns 38, 39, 40... in other words, the script variable has a stored value from the previous Skyrim session, while the function is returning the time in this session.

 

I've edited my local copy to reset OnHitCooldown if the event returns early due to the cooldown, and now the surrender-on-low-health works.

OK, I've thrown out PerMa and added SPERG and combat surrender worked two times in a row. It's looking good so far. BUT now I have another problem:

After the first combat surrender I was left in the wilderness with an armbinder and had to free myself. This succeeded after a while but the armbinder did not unequip and the "equip" sound effect kept playing every few seconds. I was able to remove the armbinder by using the safeword though. After the second surrender I got locked in a full suit (I think bondage adventure started) and the same sound effect kept looping. I have a log excerpt for the latter event:

The last error repeats until I saved the game and quit.

I don't know if I messed up anything loadorder-wise (I do use LOOT, and this is a fresh character. Out of the door, attacked the first bandits I saw).

Solicitation for be released from restraints doesn t work for me :(

 

I really need it but the moment i install it on clan save it works... then when the dialogue stops when an npc asks "what would you do if i release you?"

 

and no new dialogue appears until you press esc and quit the dialogue :(

 

Kimi could you give me some help :(?

i really wanted this funtion and now it doesn t work as soon as i save and reload.

I'm using Sperg and even with combat surrender off and being attacked by a spider I remain in God mode. Health goes down to 0 and stays there until I heal myself. Where are the logs you'd like to see?

Finally got around to trying this mod, kicking myself for not having tried it sooner.

 

Bad time to supply new suggestions (right after new release when bugs are flitting everywhere) but I'll forget if I wait too long so:

 

This mod has the BDSM stuff but is a little light on actual BDSM activity so I'd like to propose a new trap type: The whippingpunishment trap, if you don't have Captured Dreams installed or have a neutral Sub/Dom rating (10) in Captured dreams you either randomly whip one of your followers, or get whipped by one of your followers. Above neutral you always whip a follower and of course below you always get whipped. For each two points up or down an additional follower is included until you are whipping the maximum five followers or they are whipping you.

If you have no followers then perhaps using the same bandits as for the sex attacks would work. Spanking could also randomly be substituted for whipping in the above.

 

That would add some BDSM activity to the traps and help flesh out the whole BDSM theme of the mod. Come to think of it, instead of just getting fucked as actions by those who notice those who are naked or bound etc you could add whipping and spanking as alternate activities that could be applied in those cases as well.

 

Edit: Changed suggested name of trap and removed a typo.

 

Due to personal preference of its creator, Cursed Loot emphasizes the BD a lot more than the SM part. Compared to many other bondage-themed mods it generally has a playful tone and is rather low on humiliation and pain stuff. That being said, I am not ruling out some spanking or whipping scenes down the road, but they will have a very playful tone too to fit the rest of the mod.

 

So the exhibitionist suit appears to have the same effect as the slut collar. But what does Dibella's charm do, besides give the (defensive and regenerative) collar enchantment effects? I ran around with it for a while, didn't see its advertised drawback come into play at all. Uncertain if it's working in my game.

 

Dibella's Charm is basically an armour substitute to facilitate nude playthroughs - for the price of it triggering (a lot of) sex attacks. However, it's partially disabled when "Proximity Rape" in MCM's Rubber Doll quest section is unchecked, as they share the same code. In the end it's a fun item I added because I could. :D

 

 

 

I've just reproduced the problem with combat surrender not kicking in for low health.  PerMa is not involved (nor is SPERG, SkyRe, DAYMOYL, Defeat, Submit, etc.).  The surrender by hotkey is working fine, but there is no indication in the log that DCUR is even sensing the hits.  Brand new character.

 

Right, just to confirm - surrendering using hotkey works, but no trace at all from enemy hits in the log?

 

 

Correct.  Looking at the control flow for the OnHit event in dcur_clocktickRefScript.psc, there are lots of different ways that could happen.  I'll see if I can narrow it down to which path it actually took.

 

Edit: OK, that was pretty easy: the OnHit event is returning due to the OnHitCooldown check.  The variable is (in this instance) 6840.72, while GetCurrentRealTime returns 38, 39, 40... in other words, the script variable has a stored value from the previous Skyrim session, while the function is returning the time in this session.

 

I've edited my local copy to reset OnHitCooldown if the event returns early due to the cooldown, and now the surrender-on-low-health works.

 

 

/doh!!! Guess who didn't realize that GetCurrentRealTime() resets each time the game loads. Meh!

Thank you so much for your help in tracking this down, this bug had my sanity challenged. :)

Does this bug persist on new games?

Check Cursed Loot's Debug section in MCM and see if the player is marked essential even when Combat Surrender is off. Mind you that due to a glitch the flag is still set when you disable Sex Attacks globally, but don't uncheck Combat Surrender specifically.

Right. So it shares code with the rubber doll proximity rape, but triggers additional sex attacks? Any particular triggering conditions, or just a random thing that happens every passing moment?

 

Also, would you consider using the proximity rape function on other items in the future? I really like the way its implemented, and new ways to get my character sexually dominated is always fun, but rubber suits have never been my personal thing. I admit, I was hoping the charm would use the proximity rape function.

 

(Having said that - I ABSOLUTELY ADORE the way the rubber doll quest is implemented.  Great stuff! Unfortunately for me, I just can't get over rubber suits.)

I will very likely make more use of this feature. I cannot yet say on what type of items I will use it on, though. I know that rubber isn't everyone's cup of tea, but due to mod author preference, more rubber items and quests are pretty much guaranteed to happen! :D
