So I tried the search option and didn't come up with anything, forgive me if i missed something but can anyone tell me what the "strange tomb" at high hrothgar is? I'm prompted to activate it but nothing happens, so I inspected it in the console and tracked it to Cursed Loot. thanks in advance!

Possible bug>

Ultrathight straitdress ->surrender option -> send to tavern but then continues to-> dragonar prison

the ultrathight straitdress is not removed at the entrance

Playing with Beta 2, I just finished Chloe's quest, triggering Courier in Chains.

 

  • Bug: There was no carriage driver when I got back to the carriage. There was a dead wolf nearby. I finally was able to locate the carriage driver using the console, he was standing in some shrubberies nearby, in the opposite direction of the dead wolf. I assume he ran off when somebody was fighting the wolf. @Kimy You should probably place a marker or something close to the carriage and put a package on the driver to make sure that he stays close to the carriage.
     

There are also two small visual issues:

  • The large ebonite gag clips pretty badly with Chloe's face (the large gags clip pretty badly with most faces in my setup, do I need to change something?).
  • The large ebonite gag of my own character is invisible. It is equipped e.g. the mouth is open, but refuses to become visible.

Are you an female elf, and do you have DD for Him and BRRF? I had a similar issue I reported on the DD beta thread. Disabling BRRF may help, there were changes to the gag's AA between those two that weren't working right for me.

Anyone know which blacksmith can remove high security restraints? I keep getting stuck with mitten shackles combo and basically nothing can get me out except the debug. I've tried many smiths and none of them even have an option to remove your restraints.


Not sure if I'm getting the wrong smiths or there are some mod clashes that removes the dialogue to break restraints.

Yes, indeed playing a female elf with the whole set of DD mods.

@Kimy I think this is an incompatibility between BRRF and DCUR.

  • BRRF overrides zadx_GagEboniteHarnessBallBigAA, removing the race entries for all non-human races (argonian, kahjit, but also all meric races)
  • BRRF creates new armor addons for these races (e.g. zadx_GagEboniteHarnessBallElfAA_DUPLICATE for elves)
  • BRRF then changes the relevant armors, e.g. zadx_GagEboniteHarnessBallBig_Rendered, to include all armor addons
  • DCUR's large ebonite gags only include the zadx_GagEboniteHarnessBallBigAA armor addon, so they will (visually) not work for all non-human races

 

I expect that there are similar issues with other BRRF changes that break DCUR restraints. I think that the cleanest solution is an optional patch to make DCUR compatible with BRRF as part of the DCUR installer (or if you want to be fancy and save us a mod slot, merge the patch with the main esp and have two versions of the esp in the installer).

 

Further edit: Yes, taking a closer look a lot of DCUR items will not work correctly with argonians and khajiit because of missing AA entries. A lot of head devices will not work with orcs in addition, and some not with elves. I would consider DCUR incompatible with BRRF without a patch.

Any blacksmith can remove high security restrains per money. Probably you don't on high security restraints. High security restraints is restraints what have this in armor name. if it in description - it's normal restraint but only hard to remove.

Bug Report (Minor):



For the "bound Queen" I got the book from the new 'tavern' in Riverwood however when I take it to Julius (THE BASTARD) My character says she "Found it in a chest" well I have never had my immersion broken so much in my life!

Been playing through this on SE almost perfectly.

Reporting this from the SE Thread

 

Had an issue playing 9.0 Beta2 on SE

 

Solicitation where they lock on devices when you go to collect it will either not remove all the devices and basically time out the dialog eventually.

Or after that happens when you choose Were you Happy with my services? it will sit there and wait till it times out.

I tried removing all the equipped devices hoping it would have a check that says nothing is still equipped let's bypass the script.

But it just sits there and times out and won't advance to collect the gold.

 

This has happened with two npcs so far for me.

 

To get around this in the script dcur_scquest_bondagesexunlock.psc

I added dcur_solicitationbondageapplied.Revert()

Just above the End Function as it only happens after all the items were processed.

 

The resulted in the long and eventually closing dialog without completing but it allowed me to talk to the npc right afterwards and collect my gold without going through the unlock scripts.

I know this isn't a great way to deal with this but at least it reset things so I could claim my gold and reuse the npc again normally.

 

The formlist dcur_solicitationbondageapplied

Was filled with 5 entries that were all invalid resulting in device=None

And checking the keyword for each entry using this

libs.notify(kw + " is equipped")

Was only showing [Keywor in the notification for each item and not including the " is equipped" text I had there

 

Likely a good fix for this will catch that the keyword is returning invalid so that it doesn't try to lookup the device with it.

I got by using PB's Devious Carriages, patched for overencumberence - vanilla carriage doesn't allow sitting while bound, and unpatched PBDC is stumped by being overweight ?

I confirm, it is not possible to activate the carriage while bound. I can tell the driver that I want to go to Dawnstar, but I cannot activate the carriage.

Bug report:

  1. Equip Rubber gloves with D-Links
  2. Lock them -> They are replaced with Rubber Gloves (locked)
  3. Use keys to unlock them

Result:

  • Rubber Gloves with D-Links reappear in inventory, equipped
  • Rubber Globes (locked) are unequipped but stay in inventory :bug:

Looks like the line to remove the locked gloves in commented in dcur_mastercontrollerscript.psc, Event OnUpdate(). I have not tested if enabling the line and recompiling the script fixes the issue, though. It also looks like the else branch might have an unconditional removal of keys (e.g. without checking the DD settings), not sure if that is desired?

Oh, I've always wondered where all these gloves came from!!

 

Another bug (from v8.5, don't know if it has been fixed with v9)

If you have the slave rubber gloves, that need four Hand Restraints Keys to unlock - have someone lock them, et voilà they're simple rubber gloves that unlock easily.

Probably this will be fixed with DD 5.1 - on change-log are say that property destroyonremove works with non quest items too.

And probably for that need DCL 9.0: in DCL 8.5 not set this attribute to true. I do it myself. If i remember clear. Anyway you can check dcur_RubberGlovesLockedInventory "Rubber Gloves (locked)" [ARMO:XX04DBC0] - about property destroyonremove - true.

If not this property you can add this to mod and with DD 5.1 beta it must work. Theoretically.

And after install DD 5.0 this fix stopped working. I still not put on DD 5.1 beta, because can't answer if it works.

I am using DD 5.1 beta 1 and DCL 9.0 beta 2, so it does not look like DD 5.1 fixes the issue.

Then open xedit found dcur_RubberGlovesLockedInventory "Rubber Gloves (locked)" [ARMO:XX04DBC0] where XX is your DCL hex load order (my is 10) and add property:

UPD: I just install DD 5.1 Beta and with DCL 8.5 and those fix it's works.

During a Cursed loot event my follower got equipped with Iron Prisoner Chains xx0048C8 (Expansion version is xx02FA8B)

These are from Contraptions and don't want to respond to Furniture or Restraint keys to unlock.

Got 14 Restraint Keys and 2 Furniture keys Currently and getting a you don't have the right key message

Added the furniture keys after having looked up the item in SSEedit because restraint keys weren't working.

 

.... I just realized further down it says 200 keys needed...

I added the other 198 Furniture keys and it unlocked.

I believe this device likely shouldn't be in the Cursed Loot available items

The same event equipped the Rusty Iron Prisoner Chains(xx02FA8F) on my character which I was able to remove normally.

I can't remember either putting a werarable device into Contraptions or ever creating a device requiring 200 keys to unlock. oO

Can confirm though, there is a Prisoner Chains item with that ID in the non-beta LE version of contraptions requiring 200 keys to unlock

Yeah, iirc that gets equipped on a NPC if you press <PgUp> (or whatever key it is) when targeting them to assign them to a device. Maybe it was not equipped by a cursed loot event, but @iamwookie hit that key accidentally while targeting the follower? @Kimy do you abort after some time if the player does not select a device, or do you keep the poor NPC in prisoner chains forever?

Happened inside a dungeon with no furniture/contraptions around so pretty sure that isn't the case.

No need for contraptions to be nearby. The way it works is, you target the NPC and press PgUp. The NPC is equipped with prisoner chains and you get a message telling you that the NPC is selected for furniture placement. Then you target a contraption and press PgUp again to get a menu. Or you target the NPC and press PgUp to unselect the NPC for furniture placement.

 

If you still have a savegame with the prisoner chains you can easily test if that is what happened. Just target the NPC and press PgUp, and see what happens.

Just checked the saved game

Well this is interesting

No she wasn't selected for furniture placement, when the hotkey was used it then selected her, I was fairly sure this was the case given pageup is no where near the other keys.

 

However selecting her with that and then unselecting her did unequip the chains.

Bug Report:

  • The Slave Gag consumes head restraint keys even if the option to consume keys is disabled in DD settings
  • Also it disappears after unequipping (dcur_slaveGagScript.psc says so, RemoveDevice(akActor, destroyDevice = true), but I see no logical reason why it should disappear).
