TheOzoneHole Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Tried it with a new game (started mostly to debug the errors Race Menu 3 was giving me), and it worked fine with the patch. Pony boots from DD Extra added, tats including "Bad" on stomach, "Team Whore" & "#1" on ass. No goofy fog again either. Only issue is that the Solvent didn't remove the belly tattoo like I was hoping.
PubliusNV Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Same as @TheOzoneHole. Everything appeared to work correctly except that the Solvent didn't remove any tatoos. I really hope that @DocClox will return and pick up this mod again, I'd like to see it expanded as he originally outlined.
PubliusNV Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 One other problem ... after finishing the quest, sex does not appear to reduce arousal. Each incidence gives a message about not being able to get relief, and arousal does not go down.
Content Consumer Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 One other problem ... after finishing the quest, sex does not appear to reduce arousal. Each incidence gives a message about not being able to get relief, and arousal does not go down. That's intended. It's the brand on your shoulder - a daedric brand that permanently sets your arousal to 100 (by increasing the rate, if I remember right). However, you should be able to get arousal down for a while in the cage at the end of the race... I think Doc set it to be the only place in Skyrim that you can.

Each incidence gives a message about not being able to get relief, and arousal does not go down. Ment to be that way, part of the overall storyline that isn't finished yet. There are hints at how to lower arousal, but if I remember correctly it is breaks if you reach max arousal. Which is very easy to do if you have other DD related mods! Bah, I was too slow!
TheOzoneHole Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Oh, okay then. That would explain some of the highly naggy comments popping up during the run. I had re-enabled Deviously Helpless, and that first bandit got me with a chastity belt so I wasn't sure if it was DH or QAYL that was popping the messages. Breaks at 100% huh? That will be a problem for my exhibitionist char.
PubliusNV Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Thanks for explaining the arousal behavior. I guess I'll revert to the save I made before installing the mod and hope that Doc returns or someone else picks up the mod. It was a fun run with pony boots, gag, and armbinder. Had to outrun a lot of bears, wolves, and two dragons, and got caught by 3 groups of bandits.
Aelie Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 this may not be my place to say this, but dont hold your breath for this ever getting finished. unless someone else wants to finish it themselves.
TheOzoneHole Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Aelie, I had a few mod ideas of my own that never got past the alpha or beta stages and left people hanging, so I really can't complain overly loud if it happens to me. Heck, it has been over four years since the computer crash that whipped out the Morrowind Simple Prostitution System mods I was developing and stupidly hadn't backed up, and I'm still pissed off at myself about that. Sure I want to see the mod finished, and I even thought of a few neat ideas based on the mod for possible stories and races; but in the end it is Doc's mod and we all have lives that we have to put before our modding.
Aelie Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 based on docs final comments, i dont know when or if he will be back to lovers lab.
Content Consumer Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 based on docs final comments, i dont know when or if he will be back to lovers lab. Don't give up hope! I've seen several mods where the author dropped off the face of the world for a couple months, only to come back strong. Besides, if anyone has an insight into what was planned for the mod, it's probably btn2k3, who was testing some alpha builds for the next update.

The best way to get rid of that thingy while not loosing your ingame progress is to use the warehouse from your console. You can then uninstall qayl without any problems, running savetool afterwards doesn't hurt either.
DocClox Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 /me pokes head over parapet and looks nervous Umm... hi. Been a bit busy with other things. Sorry for the absence.
Content Consumer Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 /me pokes head over parapet and looks nervous Umm... hi. Been a bit busy with other things. Sorry for the absence. I FEEL SO VINDICATED :) :) My faith in thee, Oh Mighty DocClox, has never wavered. Yea, I hath kept mine trust in thee through trials and tribulations, hardships unnumbered, and thou hast come back unto me, in thine glory. Now go disappear for a few more months, because there's nothing like the actual presence of a deity to make a true believer nervous.
The Jazz Man Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 All good Doc. Don't be scared, they just wanted to know that you are still around. I think all of us here know that real life must, and will always have to come first. good to see you again.
DocClox Posted January 27, 2015 Author Posted January 27, 2015 I just overloaded on Skyrim and had to do something else for a while. In fact I've not played the game since I last posted on here, really. It was a bit odd coming back to it again - I had the courier run up and deliver a racing flyer and I thought - "I'm not touching that thing - I know what happens if I do that" Weird really. I was quite surprised by how strongly I felt that. And as for talking to Bjorlam...

And as for talking to Bjorlam... yes mailman is a pain in the ass when you start a new game on skyrim you dont really want to enter a town for the first time to have some chump run upto you and force you to talk you exit it by pressing escape or tab and he chases you down to do it again it would be better if the quest started by reading a leaflet pinned on a wall or something in 1 town lets face it no one wants a stalking mail man who wont back the fuck off XD hmm pedo pat instead of postman pat comes to mind
WaterRabbit Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 So I have to admit when I first saw this mod I didn't think it would be all that interesting. Partly because I had trouble getting everything to work properly. However, I just played this through the other day and I have changed my mind about it. First I used LAL to start in Solitude's Proudspire manor. I then when straight into the quest at level 1. I did this to essentially remove the temptation to fast travel once I got the armbinder removed. At the end, I had the same problem as everyone else and could not remove the tattoo so I coc'ed into the warehouse. From the look of things in there you have some really good ideas. It would be great if you could expand on your quest as they look really interesting. I would make one suggestion: while the quest(s) are running from this mod, disable fast travel like is done with the Cursed Collar quest in Devious Devices. Part of the reason is I am usually free of all devices by the time I get to Riften. I also usually have enough loot to sell to get enough money to pay for a carriage ride to Solitude. So for that you might want to add a slave collar that cannot be removed until the end which can prevent carriage drivers from allowing slaves to ride. Otherwise, this module looks like it is the start of a really good quest idea.
