It works in theory and I do a similar thing with Dark Investigation, but eventually when a new version comes out I usually ended up with having to start all over again.

Updates of other mods usually means the branching save will get left behind unless I go and update every branching save.

Best you can do is have a MO profile for each save, but that gets ugly quickly.

Somethings been bugging me and I wanted to see if anyone else is having this problem.    I do the first (and only at this time) race,  get to the cage, eventually escape the cage and then remove the gear,  but my vision is still slightly blurry.    At first I thought it was just something with my save to I made a new on and tried it again only to get the same result.   Am I the only one? 

 

By the way,  absolutly can't wait for the next update.  This mod is one of my dreams come true <3

Try the console command rimodcf to remove the blur

Wow. That's a lot of posts :)

 

I suppose there are a few bits and pieces I can share.

 

The next quest kicks off, like the first one, with a note from the courier. This says words to the effect of "Sorry about that. I know you probably want to kill me, but there are extenuating circumstances. Why not let me explain over dinner? I've paid Bjorlam to bring you to my estate. All you have to do is ask"

 

So you can ignore the note, or go and see Cursus, Whether you have mayhem or romance in mind is up the player. All you have to do is talk to Bjorlam, the Whiterun carriage driver.

 

What could possibly go wrong?

 

 

As regards bad ends ... it's possible (depending on how you play it) that this mod will leave your character playable, but with some priorities radically altered. Some people would probably regard that as a bad end, others as a good one.

 

As regards closure, revenge and the like ... all I'll say is that there are worse than Cursus involved. You may have to choose with whom you settle accounts. But that's a way off yet,

Yeah, I can imagine :)

 

Not to worry, I've just been dreadfully under-motivated the last few weeks. Although I do expect things to improve once I make Patrician status in Jack-O-Nine :)

 

So good things are coming. Great. I really do mean that. Great. I'm just um... getting a bit impatient. Life is cruel - in a wrong way :)

Lolz for the Lolz... yeah doc when ya gonna get me a new alpha build to test... hids in basement of estate...

 

Just kidding....

 

I've been try'n to get hdt p bones to animate correctly for unp bodies, and getting epic failures with it.

Got so pissed that the last week I've been using UN7B and thinking wow this is great its detailed, its beautiful, its got a pretty weight painting for the lower extremity (looking at the bones in OS the weight painting for the vag is great).

 

Then I realized 2 Glarring facts.

1. UN7B completely breaks the Argonian female race, as its uv map borks the feet for the argonian female.

Also the vag area on the argonian and khajit may not be able to painted correctly with this body.

 

2. There is no HDT xml file that enables that beautiful piece of flesh.

 

So now I'm at a cross roads, do I try to figure out how to remove the vag from the mesh and make it a separate part with its own uv map and texture files... it is beautiful but it only works for female humans, and elves... But beast races need there loving too!!!

 

Or do I just say "Fuck It, I will wait and see what Bla Bla puts together for Citrus 3.0" and hope that he includes output for the Demonfet UNP body shape...DF's become a must have body type for me, nothing else will cut it any more. To the Point I've been trying to figure out how to convert UN7B to a DF shape (the 0 weight is almost identical, but the 1 weight with the super thin waist line is just not there).... Then again UN7B doesn't work on beast races so, arh...

 

And yeah, I've come real close to doing a full on delete of the "UNP HDT Vagina" download I have in the adult section.

The current vag model is just not as beautiful and it's hard as hell to weight paint (due to it being so close together); but it does work on all races... pro's -vs- con's.

 

On the bright side: I did get to play thru most of the Captured Dreams update this week (rolled as a lovely little Nord  female with a UN7B 100 weight setting)... I really liked the embassy quest in that update... to bad it is not repeatable.... something about being a slave for a week, was kinky as all hell.

 

Captured Dreams v3.0 reminded me of where the alpha in QAYL was headed, except doc's Alpha seems to be working towards a kinkier outcome... will not say any more on that, as it is still an alpha build for those that don't know.

 

 

So yeah Doc, finish up with that non Skyrim slaver game you've been tinkering with and get back in the groove... please.

Ran into trouble on my latest QAYL quest.  I used the patch to apply the tats for the updated slavetats mod.  It worked but not properly, not all the tats were applied, just the belly and the two on the cheeks.  Examing the applications in Slavetats showed that everything was there though not all showing.  Anyway, after the race I used the solvent to remove the belly tattoo.  I got the proper dialogue but the tattto did not come off.  I then got the quest to find more solvent by talking to others, is that quest functional?  Since I couldn't seem to get that part working I just used the console command to get more solvent.

 

The mod thinks the belly tattoo is removed and it isn't, extra solvent doesn't help.  I would really like that tattoo gone, is there a console command that could help?

 

And now for an opinion, I'm not too fond of the new tattoos.  I haven't seen them since the first series.  The one's applied to my character look like 80's airbrushed t-shirt designs, too vibrant and not the rough scrawling of the originals.  Plus, they are huge, well the belly one is anyway.

I have a little problem, after the tavern meeting.

 

 

After driking (and been poisoned), the fade to black effect started, .... and nothing happened next. I still hear people telling me "hello!", but nothing happened. [/spolier]

 

Is there any console command to start the quest, ready to the strating line? :)

Sounds like your a stuck in the scene that was supposed to fill the gap between the poisoning and the race. 

I never ever got this scene so I'm unsure what to do, but I thought this scene was removed by now. Are you sure you have the latest version?

Is it the 0.2.6.1 version?

 

(The 0.2.6.4 has no esp, so I think yes...)

 

I will overwrite it, and see what happens!

The 2.6.1 is the current version.

2.6.4 is just a tat pack... you should probably use both.

Durring the black out it strips your gear, equips the new gear/tattoos, and zones you to the starting line.  Any thing going wrong with the removing of your gear, or equipping of the new gear/tattoos might be causing your problem.  You might try emptying non-essential items from your inventory if your carrying gobs of keys or notes or other weightless stuff. Try to avoid having any unremoveable/quest items from other mods on you.  Try DD items and (if your using them) the tattoos to check that they work by themselves.

Ran into trouble on my latest QAYL quest.  I used the patch to apply the tats for the updated slavetats mod.  It worked but not properly, not all the tats were applied, just the belly and the two on the cheeks.  Examing the applications in Slavetats showed that everything was there though not all showing.  Anyway, after the race I used the solvent to remove the belly tattoo.  I got the proper dialogue but the tattto did not come off.  I then got the quest to find more solvent by talking to others, is that quest functional?  Since I couldn't seem to get that part working I just used the console command to get more solvent.

After a few days of running around in the game with the belly tattoo a solution finally occurred to me on how to remove it.  I'm sure most of you experienced or clever modders already knew what to do.  But for those that may come across the same issue here was my solution.

 

First I simply removed the QAYL Tattoo files.  That didn't work.

 

Next, I removed QAYL and the Tattoo Patch from my load order.  The tattoo was gone but my character's skin had turned blue.  Plus SlaveTat's was still showing that slot six was still dedicated to "QAYL Belly".  As it was greyed out I couldn't remove it.

 

Finally, I removed JContainers from my load order.  Loaded up the game, CTD on first start up, second start up and my character was back to normal.  Saved the game.  Quit.  Reinstalled JContainers and loaded the game.  Tattoo is gone, skin is correct color and all six SlaveTat slots are open.

 

Not sure why I didn't think of removing the mod earlier.  I mean other than the one race it's just taking up space in the load order.

An easier solution would have been to console in some "solution".

It is part of the mod, you only get one in the initial release but there is more out there.

 

You need 4 bottles total just for the v2.6 that is in this thread.

1 for the belly and 3 for the ass, and for the back tattoo that keeps the player horny... well there is no solution that will remove it in the v2.6 versions... but you can pull up the QAYL test area and look for a button that will remove all of the tattoo's.

 

Just know that what ever you do in the test area, should stay in the test area... kinda like Vegas but not.

Hm.

So I finished the first race, but the courier doesn't appear again. 

How soon is that supposed to happen?

Or do I have to do anything to trigger it?
