Running from the ass end of nowhere to some Cage on the other side of the world without the ability to defend myself was really fun and scary a few times. Too bad I got stuck in the cage and gave up but I may give it another go.

The idea is you sleep for up to 24 hours and then you get another note outside the cage, but reachable through the bars. Pick up that and you'll see your means of escape. It can glitch though, so it is possible to do all that and still get stuck.

silvergunboat Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Excellent mod, just finished my 1st run across skyrim, final "score":- * one and half hour or real time * 7 bandits * one troll (ouch) * chastity belt, and blindfold forced on me (which made navigating.... interesting) Only bug i found was like others the quest didn't end - could get out of the cage ok with they key and could auto - complete the quest with set stage but no auto complete Suggestions: * Make the markers appear on the roads in a checkpoint like system, half the fun i found was dealing with the random encounters * add "vingett' of what happens to the other races for you to run past i shall keep an eye out for future updates

Usually the problem is that the key clips through the platform and disappears. If you can get out the quest should end when you get your stuff back from the chest. There's a note inside the chest as well. I might have set that as the trigger item, so it you leave it in the chest the quest would stay open. I'll have to look at that. I'll spoiler this in case you want to see what happens on the second run There should be a key underneath the note. If you don't pick the note up, you'll never see it. And it can clip through the platform and vanish when the note is picked up. It's quite rare that it happens, but you might have been unlucky. I have plans for a backup release mechanism, eventually..

And world peace and free beer too. I was going to ask why a cure for cancer wasn't part of your ideal vision, but then I remembered that the serendipitously-named DocClox already has it. Hopefully it will be released soon too.

Well, your previous 2 mods never made it so, third time's the charm Yeah, that wasn't nice. This mod could already be considered complete - it tells a story, from beginning to end, and is entertaining. In that sense, he has completed an entire mod, which is an accomplishment, as anyone who has had the misfortune of wrestling with the CK can tell you. The fact he is willing to add more to the story is a huge bonus. It seems everyone is under the impression my comment was meant to be snide or disrespectful. I can assure you this was not the case. I'm sorry if I have offended you in any way doc. The Skyrim Slavers guild was simply too big, so no blame there. And during your development of The Love of Mara you had RL issues to deal with, which is of course always more important. Take all the time you need and even if you somehow don't manage to finish this mod (and it basically already is finished) then I won't think less of you in any way Please forgive me and my poor sense of humor ^^

The cancer cure is still buggy, but I can't spare any time to work on it until I get this Ebola outbreak sorted out.

But, don't get chained down waiting for a sneak peak at what is in store for the mod.... How about... I like pony boots, do you like pony boots, can you run in pony boots... okay start running in your pony boots! Actually that last part is in there with the latest version of DD (or its in there in the test build anyway). Oh did I mention fingering, but not in a sexual way...yeah figure that one out? I'm gonna stop now before doc kicks me out off of the test team.
