Hi. I downloaded the newest version and noticed, there is another file structure. The new version adds a MNC DIR in the /animations/ sub-DIR. The older versions added a "SexLabCreature" sub-DIR. Should I delete the old sub-DIR's? (I don't use Mod Managers!).

PS: Are there any Chaurus genitals? It seems, they have nothing to work with. :P

No answer to my question? Don't want to have too much unused files in my Skyrim folder. :-/

Got lost in the flood.

If you upgrade from pre 7.0 to 7.0+ you should remove the old behaviour files (at least in auxbones/tail and the ones in atronach and spriggan) then reinstall sexlab and then install my mod. Run FNIS at the end.

Except the 3 I mentioned all others will be reinstalled by sexlab.

And for chaurus: sure, check meshes\slnc\chaurus\

Hmm I tried this mod and there seems to be a few issues for me.

The creatures don't seem to follow the 'train' or 'talk' commands. I removed the train with male and female npc, and only use the train with PC option.

When I try to train nothing happens, but after I go into MCM and click train with female NPC, the creature then starts animating with the PC.

After that though, my PC cannot move.

The schlongs for the creatures (e.g. Arch Demon) is also missing.

I've prioritised MoreNastyCritters.esp on top of the remaining Creatures mods. And I also use SOS.

I have installed the Creatures, Bestiality mods from before Critters. Should I be unticking these mods since Critters says it includes them all?

Thanks.

SOS works fine as long as you uncheck the werewolf support.

Of course you have to remove the mods that are included as it is stated in the install instructions.

Of course you have to follow the loadorder as stated in the install instructions.

And prioitizing in Skyrim usually means moving them towards the bottom of the list.

If PC is weeping then press space or something and you can move again.

Of course you have to enable training with player in the menu for the critters to train with the player...

I just wanted to say thank you so very much for making this wonderful all in one collection of deviously dangerous critters. It really makes it so much easier for people like me (who would forget their head if it wasn't screwed on) to install and manage. You are awesome!

Mod Orgoniser & More Nasty Critters

Hello all, im kinda hopeing someone can help me as im rather stuck after installation and running FNIS and whatnot i cant seem to get the k9 anims to work my female characters doing her bit but the dog just stands still, now im guessing its me installing it wrong with mod orgoniser as the instructions say just drop it in the data folder which isn`t an option with MO so im hopeing someone out there has had the same issue and could possibly help please.

I use Mod Organizer and had this EXACT same issue so I'll jump in here....

UNcheck More Nasty Critters in the left pane to get it out of your load.

Load a save. It will complain about stuff being missing. Tell it to load anyways.

Save

Quit

Restart MO and load your last save again.

Save AGAIN (this time you should NOT have received the warning about stuff missing)

Quit

Restart MO and check the box for More Nasty Critters again in the left pane.

Make sure it's activated also in the right pane.

*** forgot this in the original replay... sorry

RUN GENERATE FNIS FOR USERS

*** after you run Fnis for users.....

Reload your save.

Wait for the MCM menu to register.

Wait about another 90 seconds just to give things time to settle in.

Go into Mod configuration -> Sexlab

Toggle Animations -> select Creatures

Now get out of there (without doing anything really) and in the Sexlab MCM go to the last entry for Rebuilding Sexlab

In the resulting menu look for "Reset Animation Registry" ....

click that

Takes a minute to reset animations

Now go to the Toggle Animations again, set to Creatures, scroll down and see if the animations are isted (the newest ones appear at the very bottom of the list in mine)

Get out of MCM, try the animation again.

Are you Running GenerateFNISfor Users from within Mod Organizer?

If yes, I've sometimes had to run it more than once to get everything to register correctly.

Other times I've run FreeCommander from inside MO, and then navigated to GenerateFNISforUsers and run it from FreeCommander (which is running in MO) and that works as well.

Sounds like a lot, but this is one of those things that probably took me longer to TYPE than it will take you to actually DO.

:)

Cheers for the help did not not seem to work unfortunatly but knowing me maybe i missed something i will keep working at this, i like machines and logic but these darn computers seem to defy the laws of both! lol thanks again i will get to the bottom of this. oh and never hear of free commander will also look into that looks intresting.

UPDATE: GOT IT !!! ok with my mod orgoniser setup with FNIS i had created a ANIMS bin for fnis to store the new anims now for some reason i had to delete my ANIMS bin and create a new one out of the new OVERWRITE bin that just cought the new fnis files after doing the GenerateFnisforUsers thing, why i did not think of this before i`ll never know either too tired or not enough cokacola! anyway thanks chajapa for your help :)

Is there a tutorial somewhere to add custom races to SexLab?

I could use one for some races I created for Stories.

Wait does Sexlab have trouble with custom races? This is news to me. :-/

Problems? No. But animations are defined for specific sets of races. If a creature belongs to the "Werewolfrace" for example the animations in SL that are defined for "Werewolfrace" will play for it. If you define your own "Archdemonrace" for example then no animations will trigger for it cause it is not part of any animation definitions in SL. So... you have to define your own. Thats part of what I have done all along...

If you are curious you can look into the MoreNastyCrittersFactory.psc if you want to see what I mean.

Hello and sorry to bother you, but i have a question, although i probably did something wrong i'd like to know what, without further adeu, the problem: everything works perfectly except...The spiders, and i'm not talking about scaling issues, i'm talking about them dissapearing completely from the sex scene, not sure why or what causes this but it happens every time.

Posted

spiders missing sounds like there are no spider textures for um aroused spiders. so when it goes to show the spider with genitals it cant because there isnt anything where it is looking? thats what i am thinking. have you looked under the menu to see if they are checked also?

Posted

In the "Do It Yourself section" ONLY the Dragonpenis should be checked and nothing else unless you have nude models from somewhere else. There are none included here!

I know. Im just not sure how I should handle my Mod updates. Was told I do too many updates... so probably best to wait until Dayelyte finishes the set and I release it complete.

Dunno how to continue...

By whom? i personally prefer the fast updates :3

the mod keep getting updated just means u keep care of the advancements, if the people who nag about it being updated too often they should just wait to download it every once in a while.

Unless one of the animators from who u use the animations said it.....then it's understandable...they're their animations.

The best way to handle a "too many updates" complaint would probably be to ask people that want a stable system to use some specific older version of the mod.

But I think the real issue is probably not your updates to the mod, but the way the mod notification system works here. It sends out a notification for all sorts of reasons (including if you changed the mod, but lots of other reasons also), and there's no information supplied about what changed.

It's kind of annoying but it's not really aimed in your direction, you just caught some flak from someone that (in my opinion) was not paying proper attention.

I agree 100% ^_^

Updates like every other day are troublesome for people with playstyles like me.  I've found with Skyrim that the safest way to handle game playthroughs with mods is once you start a game... you don't make any changes until you're done.  Potentially any mid-game update can wreck the whole thing, even if you cleansave and use save game script removers and a bunch of other things.

So people like me have a problem when a mod starts putting out a new update every day or every other day because we feel it's unsafe to update an ongoing game.  If I have to update a mod, it'll be for a new playthrough; frequent updates means I'm putting my gameplay on hold until the updates stop.  That's not to say I'm against you updating; any fix or stable addition is welcome, but I'm unable to play in the meantime regardless.  It's kinda frustrating.

I run well over 180 mods and often remove one or update one on the fly and have never had an issue in over 308 hours of game play on this particular profile.  The main reason I don't have an issue is I look at exactly what every mod I use actually does and what it adds to my game.  If it has scripts then first I'm gonna make a save in an area where those scripts won't be running.  Then I'm going to clean that save of any script instances and then I'm going to uncheck that mod.  Then i'm going to load that cleaned save and make an in-game clean save and only then will I install the new update or continue playing with the mod removed.  (oh, and if the mod modified a vanilla script then I'm going to find that script and delete it and then run the Steam cache verify utility to give me back anything I might be missing.)

A simple mesh or texture update or even a new set of animations which need to have FNIS update the behavioral files is NOT going to cause a save game issue.

Besides, its not the mod authors fault that Skyrim was made to hold onto script instances.  IF a mod author can improve their mod and it will benefit the players who get to use the mod for free then all I have to say is, THANK YOU!

The player always has the option NOT to update.

I've got several mods in my load order which I totally stopped updating because the mod author started going in a direction I didn't like.

The only person responsible for my load order and the health of my save game is me.

Just my 2cp.

Looking forward to the next update.

EDIT - Deleted earlier post with a silly question and since I've answered that silly question in game I can only say that the seven stages with a Hentai Flame Atronach is very HOT!  Thank you for adding that particular bit of business because I've been anticipating it from the first moment I saw one.     Now all I have to hope for is to be able to put a bag over a hag raven's head before I bend her over!

Dentarr, Xandero released a new Flame Atronach animation. You will add it, right?

Update anyway you want but my suggestion is to state it in the Description in big letters the last version that is safe to use on existing saved games.  There is no rule the latest version of any mod must work on everyone's games and the opinion of people who screw up their own saves without reading the installation guide and following proper modding practices is irrelevant.  Just my 0.02.

I always write a changelog so everybody can see what is added or changed and can decide if they wanna update or not.

If a version is "safe" I cannot say. It always depends on what else is running in your game and what problems that might have with stuff in this mod.

If something major changes I always go to a new version number. And if it might be problematic I ask for testers.

In the end this is Skyrim modding. Meaning something can work great for me and 100 other people and totally fuck up up your game...
