To make a localized conversion, you'd still need to start from the non-localized plugin (the SE-converted one in this case).  Then some more processing, outside the CK:

• Run it through xEdit (aka TES5Edit in this case) to localize it (replace strings with IDs, and generate string tables for your original language).  There's a sub-menu just for localization.
• Then the translators would have to re-apply their translations - string IDs change every time you touch the plugin, so the old ones won't work.  That is fairly quick, with the right tools, but this step cannot be neglected.
• You'd need to create dummy string tables (copies of the original) for *every* other supported language that didn't have a translation done.  Otherwise, those languages would be broken (fail to load, likely corrupted saves, etc.).
• Archive2 (last I checked) did not cope well with string files that are exact duplicates of one another.  So string tables should remain as loose files, unless by some miracle we actually had local translations in every supported language.

So it's a different tool chain then you might be familiar with.  The individual steps aren't that complicated, but doing it well usually requires multiple different skill sets.  And the process has to start all over again (with the non-localized plugin) any time the plugin changes.

I would presume you'd need SSE versions of those dependencies as well.  Not an SSE user myself, so I'll defer to @Adviser69 for a more definite answer.

Is there a way to delay or prohibit Pirate Prize from activating?  Normally it is an immediate trigger once you sleep in the wilderness after you do Cidhna Mine, but I was hoping I could put it on hold somehow so I could do Treasure Hunter Whore first.

It won't start if the character's wearing a harness, belt, gag, or blindfold.  So if THW's sleep event doesn't have the same restrictions, you could influence the order that way.

I've completed Escaping Cidhna Mine and had just finished Lights out. Were they to be done separately?

Not a time limit, as such.  Just a number of encounters (25+) and a time-of-day, to ensure that Erikur's doors won't be locked.

Hi everyone, i am playing the side quests of this great mod, but when a character like madanach or barkul should stop talking and the quest trigger, instead the dialogue won't end and nothing trigger...does anyone know why?

From the looks of your load order and the problems you described earlier, it could be one of 3 things:

A load order conflict

A script overload

A bad mesh/texture

 

Given that you have stated the problem is consistent in one area with the same trigger, I think I can rule out script overload. So that leaves load order or bad mesh/texture. So here are my suggestions to alleviate your problem, and might just fix the MNC problem as well.

First, make sure you have installed the DD Hotfix, which is now included in the Devious Devices AIO installer. You wouldn't believe how often this little important step gets overlooked.

Hopefully this will help in some form. I am using the most up to date MNC myself, and I am the one who converted SD+, Sexlab Parasites and Sisterhood for DeepBlueFrog, in addition to my conversion of DeviousCidhna and Angrim's Apprentice for stobor, so I try to monitor the conversions and how they interact with each other when I can.

I think it's that files the DD hotfix and DD AIO , that ones are new for me, because I have had Dev followers installed and when I equiped some equipments passed like 10 seconds CTD, I going to instal that ones and see what happen, if is not the solution for my problem must be load order conflict, but I don't know I never have a ctd for the load order, if it works or not I going to inform, thanks for the help

Tags : Eltrys , The Forsworn Conspiracy , No One Escapes Cidhna Mine

 

Problem : Encountered a bug where "No One Escapes Cidhna Mine" doesn't trigger, most probably caused by the guard catching you in the Talos temple giving the standard crime dialogue, the usual pay fine, jail time or fight to the death. The quest dialogue that frames you doesn't trigger.

 

After 2 days of trial and error, searching google and here for solutions, discovered a workaround for this bug, tested working for me.

 

Workaround :

When you're done with Thonar or Nepos, or both stages.

Open your console (for PC), type in player.moveto 198fd

 

Result : Your character will be teleported directly on top of Eltrys and will trigger the quest dialogue, framing you this and that, and proceeds to take you to Cidhna mine and continues on with the modified Cidhna questline for Devious Cidhna.

 

Prior to this, I've tried the setstage ms01 100 or setstage ms02 0, this only takes you to the standard non-mod Cidhna Mine where the mod can't take effect.

Not a problem, and I totally agree that the hotfix should be given more announcement. I would also suggest looking into gettting the latest More Nasty Critters, as a few previous updates had caused some sort of CTD problem with the horses and one or two other creatures on both LE and SE. This problem has since been fixed.

Is there a console command for triggering the dialogue for Rolff, Yngvar, or Harrald that leads to the Lost Knife scenario? Or at least one that says the conditions for them is met or that the dialogue is completed? Met all the requirements after finishing the mine & they don't do anything to me other than the usual dialogue from them

I'm having this issue as well. I wonder if moving it lower on the  load order will work? I thought I read that a few pages back... but then maybe it was a different mod... Anyone any ideas or fixes for this? Thanks!

I've never had any problem with anything preempting their dialogue for the "Fair Game" quest (the prereq for the Lost Knife scenario).  You have to avoid wearing a conflicting device (collar or gag), but that's it.  Load order shouldn't have any effect.
