Yep I got that, but I meant how do I manually edit the mod to not take away the gold? For posterity reasons.

Hello, i am using this mod but i have a weird bug, no idea if it is from this mod. Some npcs of the mod keep following me for no reason.Is there any way to make them stop? The only solution so far is to disable them, any idea how to make them stop?

 

Also for the pirate prize quest, how much time should you wait the event when you are sold is triggered?
Should you first remove your devices so you get the escape quest? Or you just have to do something else so 5 or 6 step(from the mod page about the quest) would happen.

Don't think there's anything that'd cause an NPC to follow you, beyond an immediate attempt to run an animation.  Haven't seen any similar reports, so I'd have to assume that's some other mod.

 

Waiting (game time) is irrelevant to the Pirate Prize quest.  Number of encounters is what determines when it's time to get a move on (it's 25 encounters, if I recall correctly).

So to fail the escape and be sold in solitude i need to have 25 encounters, even if i reach the stage of the quest where i can escape? Or 25 encounters while the quest is at the stage where you try to escape(try to get out off the ship).

Also when i get to the stage where i meet Melaran, i just put the items given and follow him? Cause the quest doesn't update, i think it finishes after i get a bit far from the ship.

25 encounters total, I don't think it's dependent on stage... though it's been a while and my memory might be faulty.  It may have some checks for making sure the armbinder/jacket is off (to prevent equip conflicts), and Melaran won't show up at night (the parade's supposed to occur in broad daylight).

 

The quest doesn't update when Melaran shows up, rather a secondary quest takes over (and the original one ends normally, as it always does, when you enter a new named location).  That's all normal and expected.

So when Melaran showed up,dd items were added in the inventory, he has a dialogue to put each one on. When i do he puts a yoke on me.But after that the quest doesn't end, neither a new one starts. He also some same dialogues as the crew members. He walks away towards the town of solitude. I follow him to see if something happens, but the only thing that happens is that the pirate quest ends after you go much further away while you walk with him. After that no new quest starts by it self. Should i do something to start it? Or can i maybe use a command. I walked all the way to the palace with him and nothing happened.

The fact that he showed up at all means the followup quest (DvCidhna_Erikur) is running.  That should've gone to stage 10 (and displayed an objective) when he added the yoke.  Check the status of DvCidhna_Erikur in console (sqv command); if it isn't at stage 10, a setstage command might fix it (ideally while still aboard the Dainty Sload).

 

Another thing to check is whether Melaran (and the PC) are in DvCidhna_EscortFaction at this point.  They should be.

Well the DvCidhna_Erikur quest isn't running even after yoke is equiped. The quest state is stopped, and it is not enabled. The setstage command didn't work so far.
How can i check if i am in DvCidhna_EscortFaction  faction? Or if Melaran is.

Well there's your problem, though I've no idea how that quest could fail to start.  If setstage or startquest won't start it, something's thoroughly broken.  Usually that involves some essential alias being impossible to fill.  In this case, that'd probably mean Erikur is dead or has been massively modified by some other mod (since the only other aliases are Melaran and the player, and they both seem to be present).

Hi Stobor , Is the pirate prize repeatable if i escape with out killing anyone , I'm setting up a new play trough . I'm just going through options for simply slavery and I'm looking for outcome's like this.

 

Great mod never had any problems with it , thank you for handwork and sharing.

Hello all, I've been having some trouble... well, getting this mod to load. No matter what I do, when loading Devious Cidhna, it causes my game to ctd before ever getting to the title screen. I have all the requirements, my SKSE is updated, I run FNIS religiously, and I have tried disabling all mods but Devious Cidhna and its requirements - and it still CTDs me before ever showing the title screen. Does anybody have any suggestions on what could be causing this? I looked through the earlier threads, but couldn't seem to find anything.

This almost always means a missing requirement...

 

Which versions of Devious Devices, Sexlab, Sexlab aroused, and ZAP are you using?

I'm using the latest versions linked from each mod's download pages, excepting Aroused, for which I found a newer and SSE compatible version. I've opened it in SSEEdit just to make sure I wasn't missing something, and it loaded without incident. I've sorted things with LOOT, and received no trouble on that front. Nothing I can do seems to show any sign of there being a problem, except that my game CTDs on loading.

I'm also having this same problem here. Is it because I'm running SE and not Oldrim?

Very possibly.  I have no idea why it would be incompatible, if all the dependencies are present in SE-compatible form, but nobody's ever reported such a problem with Oldrim.

 

You'll likely have more success debugging Skyrim SE issues on a thread dedicated to that.  In other words, not here.

So i enter the mines and talk to Borkul about arrangement, then nothing happens. I even started a new save to see the bug repeat itself. I can keep asking him the question as many times as i like because no quest starts. This is in Oldrim and LL mods include:

DCL, DD (latest), ZAP 7, DD-Equip, DEC, SL Kidnapped, Naked dungeons... I don't know how to work on this, i see nothing relevant in console at that time. Also Simple Slavery fails to ever start Cidhna if it's left as only option, they just set me free from the auction and i walk out the door to Riften. 

 

I guess i'll try a different MO profile with as few mods as possible

Absolutely, i've been playing various other mods for months. DCL has always worked fully, done playthrough of Captured Dreams shop, Shout like a virgin, and many other big mods.

 

As for the rape part, the npcs in Cidhna do rape the player through other mods i have. They even add restraints.

Not working with the test profile either. They talk about blindfolding me but then not doing anything.

 

I have:

- Devious Cidhna v1_10_NonLocalized_ESP (It includes everything right?)

- SlaveTats 1.3.0-beta 2

- DD 4.1

- Sexlab 162

- SL aroused 28b

- ZAP 7

- CBBE HDT, Racemenu, XPMSE

- Unofficial legendary edition patch

- ... and just a couple of my quality of life mods for vanilla Skyrim from nexus, less than my normal profile has.

 

edit: I'll try the FOMOD version soon today and update the post when done.

 

edit2: Now it seems to be working, so far.

 

As a personal opinion i hate BSA versions. It's tough to overwrite files by other mods perhaps newer/better versions if they're all packed like that. And i don't have individual level of control over files.

? depending on what you mean by that ^  it might NOT be enough.

As the name says... it's only the esp file.

If that is the only package, that you downloaded, then it is NOT enough.

  1. download both packages with the red mark from my screenshot
  2. install the upper one first
  3. install the lower one second
  4. the lower one WILL overwrite ONLY the esp of the upper one
  5. it will replace the localized features with the english-only variant of all texts.

As I recall, there are two main ways it can proceed from there: talking to Gilfre (Mixwater mill), or talking to soldiers (e.g. any army camp).  Either should have an option that leads to being transported to Lost Knife cavern.  I've seen reports that the yoke causes problems (with DD v4+) preventing one of the escape methods, but I haven't tried that myself in a while.  So be prepared for the possibility that you might need to get the yoke removed by other means (as various mods provide now).
