I've done that path in my last playthrough with the current version, and had the correct meeting at the exit. The silverblood is supposed to meet you directly outside of the exit into Markarth.

By any chance, you took the proper patch through the tunnel behind the locked gate? Not the dwemer pipe, right?

 

If you weren't met there, then I guess something has gone wrong in your game. Maybe script lag has not updated the quest in time, but I'm only guessing here?

If you have more mods that alter Markarth, it could take quite some time to load all that!

If you have an earlier save, going back to that and trying again.. and doing things slowly at the critical scene might help.

 

From my memory, the critical points for you should be: 1. Killing Madanach (quest shoud update there!) ... 2. Exaclty the exit (better make a save inside.

As a last ressort, I would try the console, e.g.

Spoiler
  • kill Madanach (wait for the quest update, do it manually if it doesn't)
  • escape the usual path through the tunnel behind the gate, open that with the key from Madanach's corpse
  • make a save right before I exit into Markarth (savety)
  • exit and wait a few seconds until Markarth has settled itself
  • make a few steps forward, I guess there's a trigger zone or some-such
  • if nothing happens, console the Silverblood with "moveto player" to me

 

Something like that. But I would not continue without a proper quest ending, since there are some things (your items, your bounty, ...) that need to be cleaned up. At least that's what the end-quest dialogue tells me.

About how long is it suppose to be before the pirates sell me or dump me? I've been there for 17 in game days and I've gotten

 

I can pay a ransom, what'll happen to me, how long are we in port, can I go out on deck, and why is the door locked for options. Is something suppose to happen to trigger being sold/dumped?

 

I'm getting into the dainty by simple slavery if that matters

It is based on how many times the pirates have used your PC, iirc. It goes thru 3 semi quests of removing devices, and again iirc 25 encounters.

are the semi-quests the first time i need to get out of the bindings or the times where they put them back on me for asking about the door?

It's not obvious how to get out, but both ways involve talking to the first mate. Basically if you manage to get all your restraints off (I dunno if they have to stay off) through dialogue then have sex with him he should drop a key. Otherwise eventually he gets a new dialogue, use that dialogue and you will be sent out

Get them to remove the gag, arm-binder and blindfold, I believe the blindfold is first. Have fun with the crew, keep checking the dialog tree.

Sooner or later one of the crew, usually but not always the first mate, will tell you your fate.

Your gold is gone but you can get the rest of your stuff back - Spoiler

Your stuff is in the chest in the cabin where the first mate is, you'll need to find some lockpicks though

 

IIRC it doesn't touch your food at all, it remains in your characters inventory and there's plenty to pick up on the Dainty Sload as well

This mod would be great....without Devious Devices - Assets and Devious Devices - Integration

Unfortunately, forced by limitation amount of mods ( max install 255 mods ) this requirements are just make this mod unworthy to install.

I don't want to say anything bad/wrong about this mod ( I fully respect your job ) I believe this mod is great and I really wish to play that mod, but risk one mod-quest and make game unstable with instaling and un-installing mods ( few if im not wrong , and all of them havy scripted ) 

 

If I offend anybody please, take my apologies. It wasn't my intention to insult anybody.

 

I have only 3-4 armor mods / 5-6 cloth mods / 1 home mod and i still have problems which mod to install :frown: 

 

But thx to lads from Loverslab MY skyrim is so great :smile: many mods from this site is "I need to have it" :smile: and I just can't playing without this mods.

I have question about "this mod " if I go out from Cidhna jail, Can I go there back again or is just "one" way ticket ? 

If i can go multiple time to that jail be nice and maybe i consider to install this mod if I can go to Cidhna jail few more time :smile:

Cidhna Mines is a one-way ticket, same as the vanilla version.  There are some side-quests included in the mod that are repeatable after Cidhna however, depending on the side you choose and a few random ones like the Red Wave event.  They are mostly pretty minor quests but fun to try.

 

Most people that use Cidhna mines would also have several other DD-based mods, so normally it isn't a case of needing to install 3 masters for one quest mod.  If you are desperate for space and feeling adventurous, you could try upgrading More Nasty Critters to the latest SLAL version.  The latest version only requires 2 mod slots, instead of 5.  Might be worth looking into mod merging as well, altho that sounds like something for a new playthrough.

I've struggled out of the binds myself but for some reason that doesn't trigger the next stage of the quest that tells me to get out of the binds so I assume I need I need to get the crew to take them off but I can't talk to them with the gag in my mouth, they keep telling me "Nope, sorry, are those even words?" and a message tells me that I can't communicate with the gag on my mouth which I can't get rid of unless the arm binds are off so I assumed I need to struggle out of both on my own. They eventually take the blindfold off when I ask but the quest doesn't advance. Am I supposed to have them take all 3 off? If so how do I get them to take the gag out?

If it's using a ball gag, it may be an incompatibility issue with DD4.

Yea, ball gags were changed to be "hard" gags in DD4.  It sounds like that may change back at some point, but in the meantime you could try giving yourself rolls of paper, inkwells and a quill.  That will let you "talk" to people even with the ball gag.

 

In console type these three entries to get the items:

I think only 1 quill and inkwell is needed, only the paper is consumed, if I recall correctly.

I just put 10 of each because better to have too much than pick 1 for paper and get one use before being blocked again.  If I recall the ink may be consumed as well, and it isn't like inkwells or quills weigh anything.

Alright I'll try that see how it goes. One more thing, is my character's idle suppose to change after i get out of the bindings? I have a default folding arms idle but it changes to something of a combat stance in idle with the arms to the side

Well, I converted Devious Assets and Integration.  The only thing that looked wrong was the armbender and the Yoke.  I converted Devious mine and made it out of Cidhna mine.  Everything so far seems ok.  The rape scenes get an error, "Look up failed" but, continues to happen anyway. I did get blind folded and had to run around in blurry sight.  (Don't go pitch black like in LE.)  Still worked ok.  Madock has placed the chains that mark me as his slave.  Next I will try the Forsworn camp to see how much of that works... Sex scenes work.  Did have problem with lesbian sex, but male, 3 way with 2 male all worked.  Minor errors in conversation didn't keep things from working.

By random chance I managd to trigger the Prey/A Dish served hot quest. ... at least I guess so.

But I fear by using DDv4 I may have broken the quest?

  • Cidhna quest line has not started beyond the point that my next step would be to "accidently meet" Eltrys and get his note.
  • Farenger had a new (unknown to me) dialogue line, I was curious and *DANG* he put a collar on me
  • Thanks to @valcon767 I could trace the dialogue to DC and the "prey" quest.
  • Aside from the collar, I noticed nothing else. No plot, no events, no effects, just the collar.
  • whenever I meet him, I have a line to ask him "remove it please" and he always refuses ... I should not interrupt the magic at work

In the meantime (weeks ago in-game) I managed to escape the collar (DDv4 escape) , but I still have the dialogue with Farengar.

So it seems to me, the escape was not detected?

 

At this point I wonder if I broke the quest beyond repair or if and where I would best continue the story ?

I would have to search Breezehome from top to bottom, but I guess I still have that collar somewhere. So the right item should be available, if that matters.

 

Edit:

The primary part of my question is the pure technical one, that needs to be solved first!

But if that's cleaned up, I am happy for any hints how to continue from an immersive story-telling perspective. Ain't that what RPG is all about :classic_wink:?

I discussed the collar that Farengar puts on the PC with the mod author quite some time ago here in this forum thread, and he said that it was to be the start of a new part of his mod that he hadn't finished and had accidentally left in the mod.  So it's not due to DD4, and there's no way to get Farengar to take the collar off.  If you want it off, you'll have to get a key and remove it yourself.

Ah. Thank you. I didn't find that with the search  - probably wrong keyword.

The collar is already away from my neck, so that's not a thing anymore. I was just concerend, why Farengar's dialogue still "thinks" I wear it and if I broke something. :classic_blush:
