I'm on SSE 1.6.1130 and I can say Blood and Silver - Cidhna Mine Expanded v. 2.3b worked for me, along with this mod.

Super! I'm still on 1130 myself, because...well I couldn't afford my internet and will have to change providers lolol. And then I saw everything updating to 1130 fast and still lagging on 1170 and dare I say 1179 now. So I am actually super happy I stopped at 1130 lol Thx for letting me know! I haven't even started testing Markarth yet for this load order. Trying to get that...wild..wild mfin mod...pack? Or serious of patches and mains known as Seasons of Skyrim working, and itĀ  is just...a nightmare. lol

This is very frustrating to play, especially if you have SLSO. The bandits or pirates(the scenarios I have tried) keep assaulting you with a pause of only seconds. No one has that kind of sexual drive and the sex scenes quickly get repetitive. Add a cooldown of at least five minutes between scenes, or make an MCM where we can set it ourselves. That would make sex scenes worth a lot more and give you time to actually get free instead of getting fucked all the time.

Ā

There is another issue. If you save and reload while enslaved in the above mentioned scenarios, everyone go hostile and start attacking. I don't know if this is caused by Requiem, because it make changes to factions, but since it only happens on reload, it's more likely that the players faction rank isn't updated. Sorry, but this mod, although having many good ides, has the marks of simple and hasty programming.

Hey guys, I was having this same problem, really tearing my hair out trying to fix it. After some testing with a crash logger I noticed that Content Consumer's Alternate Starts was causing errors, so I disabled that and tried again and made it into the mine without CTD! Dunno if that'll fix it for ya'll but it might be worth a try.

Simple and hasty beats retarded and overly complex every day of the week.

Ā

Requiem requires the player to turn their PC into goatse with Java just to use the configuration utility which doesn't justify the cancer that is Java.Ā  This mod is plug and play and works as well as any other mod when the load order is correct.

Delete the guy that calls you "dogfucker" or the entire "Markarth dogfucker start".

Ā

What is the "correct" load order then? I mean, if you put mods into categories, and Requiem is one category, since it's a big "goatse" on its own.

Ā

If u ever want to see how incorrect your load order is, open xEdit and leave everything ticked and start checking for conflicts and seeing if you like the conflicts. I check every SINGLE record, literally every single one, hundreds of thousands of records in thousands of plugins every time I mod Skyrim. It takes up to 3 months of testing phases before I can even BEGIN a real playthrough with that kind of a load order. I'm on month 2 right now of a new setup. Pace urself depending on how many u got and give yourself ample time to test and seek conflict in ur LO before committing to a LO even if ur not trying to avoid the 3000 esl limit.Ā

Whatever ur doing, whatever ur order is, KNOW your order, and know what it does in relation to other mods.

Ā

As for Cihdna Mine, you will find a lot of things frustrating with SLSO installed. Requiem is incredibly massive, and has been one of the most highly patched mods for a long time. You will definitely need to be spending time in xEdit looking at it and all of its patches to check for conflicts regularly. This will not be simply conflict sorting. With some mods, you have to really think about the functions of both conflicting mods and whether or not one even should overwrite the other, and sometimes juz trial and error.

Requiem isn't goatse, it just requires you to embrace goatse because the people that took it over when it was "finished" after the release of Dawnguard are kinda oddballs that see every problem they face being solved with goatse.Ā Ā

Ā

I actually liked requiem before the goatse when it had manual patches and I'd probably like it again if they would take a nod from FNIS and write their utility with no external requirements like human beings that respect their users.

Ā

I'm also certain I remember playing through an earlier version of DC with Requiem's stat switcher loaded after DC.

Ā

You can also remove requiem and get the same punishing behavior with Sexlab Survival coupled with iNeed.

Ā

I don't really think it's a goatse, except that a lot of mods aren't compatible and you have to patch them yourself because the patch central only covers "the most popular mods", which seems to be an arbitrary deal(since he didn't even make a patch for Realistic Needs). But I'm not salty. You can get a lot of patches from other modders or just change something in a mod to make it compatible, but DC doesn't have any obvious conflicts, so can't really be patched.

Ā

When it comes to external requirements, they are mostly not critical. The unoffical patch is a no brainer and playing without some of the fixes is fine(Bug fixes seems necessary though), if you don't mind the occasion crash or odd behaviour(will happen anyway with a big load order). But the requirements aren't hard to install and don't have any performance hit so I don't see the problem there.

Ā

SexLab Survival and iNeed don't handle enemies, AI and combat so wouldn't really give the same punishing game, except for economy and making life in cities a bit more difficult.

Ā

Your stats + damage output are lowered enough that Deadly Wenches take a lot more effort to beat and the toll booths/dropped item theft removes the fast travel item duplication exploit that makes selling drugs to Ysolda a viable but tedious path to pay for skill training and houses.

Ā

Every Draugr being a Draugr Death Lord gets old the first time you complete Bleak Falls Barrow right out of Helgen.

So I've got an issue that I'm hoping has a simple solution.

Ā

I just discovered that the reason I keep being teleported to the pirate quest is that for the first time ever (Several Hundred Hours) I actually fulfilled the conditions to be kidnapped and sold to them by the silverbloods.Ā  One problem.Ā  Timing.Ā  I was literally forced to disable realistic needs just so I didn't have to sleep while doing another mod, because being kidnapped while locked in a haunted house in another dimension was...not immersive.Ā  So much so that I thought it was a bug until I went back through my saves and realized it only started after cidna mine.

Ā

Is there a way to disable the "kidnapping" script or am I going to have to do the time-warp again and get kidnapped by pirates two weeks ago?

Ā

And before anybody says "just disable Devious Cidhna," I'm feeling pretty sure that might bugger up the follow-up quests from the mod that I want to do later.

Ā

Thanks,

Maybe double check that you downloaded the correct version of Devious Cidhna for your game.

I use Vortex, SkyrimSE, and Devious Cidhna v1_10_SE and don't have a problem.

Hi I'm getting an issue when I try and start the quest by talking to Borkul for the first time, he will say the line and called Urracen to put a blindfold on, but after that nothing happens. I don't get blindfolded nor does anything in general happen and when I talk to borkul again, the dialogue options are still the same and the same line to start the quest is there and it repeats the same thing following with nothing.

Ā

Is this some load order issue or is there a mod that interferes with this mod's scripting for this to actually start?

I'm playing the Skyrim SE version, I had Simple Slavery send me to the Lost Knife Hideout for the quest, A Dish Best Served Hot, the quest ran just fine.Ā  It was afterwards that I noticed that bandits were no longer hostile.Ā  I had long gone past my saves so I was hoping that there was a console command that would make the bandits hostile again.Ā  Any thoughts on how to solve this issue?Ā  Thanks.

Ā

You can try using console to remove yourself from bandit faction:

player.removefromfaction [faction id]

I don't know which faction specifically it added but here's a list of bandit factions and their possible id's: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Factions_B#BanditFaction

Ā

I assume you might've been added toĀ BanditFriendFaction, or BanditAllyFaction.

Experiment. Your mileage may vary.

Just a quick update.Ā  It did not work.Ā  Furthermore, after the Cidhna Mine quest with Madanach, all the Forsworn are now friendly, not just the gang from the mine.Ā  It's a very peaceful world now.

Ā

I appreciate your info though, I thought it might do the trick.

The mod may use its own faction. You'll have to examine the plugin in xEdit and see if it has. Then check your own character in something like More Informative Console for the list of factions you are a member of.

Ā

That is, of course, assuming my original line of thinking was correct. If not, then your guess is a as good as mine.

What about ESLifying the SE version? I once saw this warning somewhere regarding ESLifying:

Scripts that use GetFormFromFile with a formID that was changed will have to be updated with the new formID and recompiled, otherwise they will break.

Ā

A couple of Devious Cidhna scripts indeed contain the GetFormFromFileĀ  function. But they seem to refer to other mods like DD or Cursed Loot. So I guess it should be possible to compact the ESP and then ESLify? Or not...?

In case anyone has been running into the issue where the pirates/bandits become aggressive after saving & loading the game when you've been captured, I've identified the cause in my load order.

Sanguine's Debauchery (I'm running the latest SE version of it) runs some faction "cleanup" on game load - it removes you from a bunch of bandit-allied factions if you're not currently enslaved via SD - notably the BanditAllyFaction, which Devious Cidhna uses to keep the bandits friendly during these quests. So when SD does its cleanup, suddenly the bandits/pirates decide they don't like you any more.

Ā

In case anyone is interested, I've thrown together a very quick and dirty script fix which essentially just prevents SD from running this cleanup, which seems to resolve the issue for me. I imagine that if SD actuallyĀ needsĀ this cleanup (i.e. doesn't/can't always clean up after itself as it goes), then this fix may well cause some minor issues down the line after being enslaved via SD (probably little more than the classic peaceful bandit issues) - I may have a more thorough dig through SD and put together a slightly more robust fix at some point, if needed.
