Kittsu Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Does anyone have a guess on why the quest No One Escapes Cidhna Mine doesn't start? Uninstalling the mod didn't help either, it keeps doing it now... Starting the quest manually through console does not allow the mod to work either.EDIT: Nevermind, I had to activate the quest from the console BEFORE being sent to mine for it to work. How bothersome.
stobor Posted November 19, 2014 Author Posted November 19, 2014 That would be a problem on your end; this mod has no effect on starting that quest. Nada.
chajapa Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 OK, well I screwed this up royally. I guess I wasn't supposed to kill that beast guy, or Madenach.... right? I had the blindfold put on me. I talked to the guy that wanted skooma. I brawled the guy that HAD the skooma and gave it to the guy that wanted it in trade for a shiv. Used the shiv to kill the beast guy and Madenach. I take it that's not what what supposed to happen. Oh and with Milk Mod, I was leaking milk and never saw any reference to my condition I'll try this again. But a spoiler to get started would be cool .... all that running around to go to jail takes a while.
stobor Posted November 19, 2014 Author Posted November 19, 2014 Regarding the Milk Mod-related dialogue: the intro line is something along the lines of 'what are you staring at?'. Regarding everything else: do less fighting, more fucking.
chajapa Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 So.... help me out here a little. (Search on this site is kinda dreadful)... I should wander around with a blindfold on and talk to these prisoners several times... each... until I see something other than their normal dialogue from when I first see them? Do the PRISONERS make comments? I'm assuming it's prisoners because that's the only people in the mine. Like.... 6 NPCs including the beast..... oh and Madenach. Apologies if I sound kinda n00bish but I've actually played through the game 3 times and never been in Cidhna Mine

Apologies if I sound kinda n00bish but I've actually played through the game 3 times and never been in Cidhna Mine Just wander around, then linger near the various npc's. you don't need to open dialogue with them - they'll take care of that part themselves.
stobor Posted November 20, 2014 Author Posted November 20, 2014 Well, the original NPCs all have force-greet AI behavior packages (cross their line of sight, they'll take the initiative). The new ones added by the 'Blood and Silver' expansion start off with vanilla 'hello' comments - but get the same force-greet package added to them the first time they talk to you (after which, they'll behave like the original NPCs). To prevent getting caught in continuous loops, the AI package has a cooldown of several minutes before it'll trigger again on the same NPC. It can still trigger for other ones, so it is quite easy to get caught in a pattern of being passed back and forth between two NPCs, if they idle close together. TL;DR - what the preceding post said.
chajapa Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 OK, just FYI, I ran this through all the way to the escape from Markarth and never saw anything related to milk even though I was leaking the whole time from Milk Mod. I'm going to start it again using SGO and see if that changes anything.
chajapa Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Wait.... reading the OP and version history.... do the comments regarding milk come from Markarth guards and not the prisoners in the mine? 'Cause right now I have SGO running, her breasts are full with that, AND Milk mod and she's leaking... and still no comments in the mine about milk.
stobor Posted November 20, 2014 Author Posted November 20, 2014 Talk to someone. Do you have a line 'what are you staring at' ? If not, console: help dvcidhna 3 and check for variables with 'milk' in the name. Post their values here.
chajapa Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 entered Cidhna using setstage ms01 100 and then setstage ms02 0 That got things to the beginning. issue console command help dvcidhna 3 ALL values are at zero This is with Milk Mod running and her breasts leaking milk. EDIT I manually set DvCidhna_GotMilk to 1 and got the line about milk but she responded with Sorry I don't have enough or something like that. After sex, that value got set back to 0 ....still testing.... EDIT #2 OK, Milk Maid is level 1 with 6 milk in her breasts and leaking GotMilk = 0 GotMilked = 1 (I manually set it to 1) If I set GotMilk to 1 I get the "What are you staring at?" line but she always tells them she doesn't have much so they do the "Aw, I knew I should have asked earlier." response. THEN if I check GotMilk it's back to 0 Going to try manually setting GolMilked to 0 and GotMilk to 1 and see what happens. just FYI, the other dvCidhna value for Submit appears to be incrementing when I choose a submissive response to their demand for sex.
stobor Posted November 21, 2014 Author Posted November 21, 2014 I suspect that your console hackery to start the mod is skipping steps that need to run. Try this instead: setstage ms01 80 and then enter the Temple of Talos and let the guards take you to the mines normally (I know that works, that's how I tested it). Other than that, overriding the 'gotMilk' variable won't work, it'll be overwritten again next time it is tested (in a dialogue fragment). Your results read like it either did not run the initial MilkMod check, or that it ran but did not find the mod. The check runs under two conditions: when loading a saved game (while the quest is running), or when the blindfold is applied. You might also try: sqv DvCidhna_Quest and look for the quest variable 'hasMilkMod_var', which records the results of that check. Edit: If the quest has recognized the mod, also make sure that the 'Engorged' debuff is present; that's how the current version checks milk level.
chajapa Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Well.... that might be my problem right there... I think I have it set up with buffs/debuffs turned off in the MCM. I'll log in and check that first. If she doesn't have the engorged debuff, then that might be the problem. EDIT: That was it. Can't have (De)Buffs toggled off in Milk Mod or the check fails ... makes sense now knowing what's being checked. It worked several times. Now I just have to get that animation listed as unique within Apropos so the description of what's happening is more accurate.
chajapa Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 OK, now I have to ask. What are you checking for as far as Soulgem Oven? All I had to do for Milk Mod was to turn on the Buffs/Debuffs and this works nicely. And I know your time is probably limited, but if you wouldn't mind having a look at a request I posted HERE , I'd appreciate it. Maybe a small side project? It seems you have most of the work done already. Just need to break out and adjust some pieces. Obviously I'm a willing tester and we could take this to PMs or to that thread if you'd like. Or you can tell me to piss off because you don't have time. Meanwhile.... I've never enjoyed being in jail quite so much!
stobor Posted November 22, 2014 Author Posted November 22, 2014 The normal way is to keep talking (through gag speech, part of the DDI mod for quite a while now), and get devices removed that way. But any which way, if you get far enough from the ship to change location, the quest should end. The lighthouse will do; that's the closest landmark that is a different 'location' to Skyrim.
PubliusNV Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 The first time I tried to do the Pirate quest, on my last play-through, I did it after already having killed everyone aboard the Dainty Sload as part of the Thieve's Guild questline, so I had to abandon the quest. This time, on a new playthrough, I knew to start it earlier, and I just finished it. Nicely done! My PC was able to talk her way out of the armbinder and blindfold, and pickpocket the keys, with lots of fun times in between. Overall, an excellent mod! Thanks for making it.
just_Gina Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Just finished getting away from the pirates in 1.5.1. I have to say great work. Aside from having to reload a couple of times to get Madanoch to escape the mine, everything worked great. All the extra npcs in the mine worked quite well with your mod. Thanks for the update!
hellburning phenix Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Hy everyone, im posting here becauseI have an issue with this mod and I don't know how to fix it. I simply don't have the option with borkul to begin the mod. I have put this mod at the end af all my mods, and of course, I have all the prerequisites installed.

stobor Posted November 30, 2014 Author Posted November 30, 2014 Also, make sure you entered Cidhna Mine via the Forsworn Conspiracy quest. Just getting arrested for thievery won't do.
hellburning phenix Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Hy everyone, im posting here becauseI have an issue with this mod and I don't know how to fix it. I simply don't have the option with borkul to begin the mod. I have put this mod at the end af all my mods, and of course, I have all the prerequisites installed. Talk to Uraccen first. Sorry, I forgot to mention that I did talk with Uraccen first. I suppose that the option should appear in the options when you say "I need to see Madanach" to Borkul AFTER talking with Uraccen. And that's what I do. To be more precise, I tried every tlking option with Uraccen AND borkul, and tho option doesn't appear.
stobor Posted November 30, 2014 Author Posted November 30, 2014 As I recall, it is a dialogue option on the same level as 'I need to see Madanach', not a branch underneath that. But rather than try to guess based on dialogue branches, let's check the actual quest status in console: sqv dvCidhna_quest Is the quest running? Is it at stage 0? Are the aliases all filled in? And while we're at it, what about the vanilla Cidhna Mine quest: sqv MS02 What stage is that at?
stobor Posted November 30, 2014 Author Posted November 30, 2014 @DarkLeon54: Deviously Helpless isn't listed as a required mod because it isn't a required mod. Your conclusion is in error.
Morferous Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 same glitch for me all stages to 0 for the mod's quest and the original cidhna quest is stuck after i give the skooma and got the (knife) i don't know how to tell "surin" in english x) EDIT: Nevermind, this mod isn't compatible with "dangerous female prison" or something like that, and once i installed Devious Helpless it worked fine (DHelpless isn't in the required mods in first page) If you mean "Horrified Female Prisons" then these mods do not conflict. Nothing has been done to Cidhna mine yet. Author planned these mods to be compatible, if he would ever do something to Cidhna mine in that mod.
hellburning phenix Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 As I recall, it is a dialogue option on the same level as 'I need to see Madanach', not a branch underneath that. And while we're at it, what about the vanilla Cidhna Mine quest: sqv MS02 What stage is that at? Okay, now I see a litle bit better where the problem is. The alliases of the dvCidhna_quest are al filled with "NONE", the quest is not enabled, the state is stopped, and the current stage = 0. for the MS02 : Every alliases are filled in, enabled = yes, state Running, current stage =10 So if you can help me stobor, i'd realy appreciate it ....
