stobor Posted December 1, 2014 Author Posted December 1, 2014 How did you arrive in Cidhna Mine? Did you do 'Forsworn Conspiracy' (quest MS01)? Or just get arrested for thievery? (As previously noted, ordinary arrests won't start the quest).  You could try starting the quest from the console ('startquest DvCidhna_Quest'), and then check if it worked (i.e. the aliases filled, the quest status is 'running'). But I hesitate to recommend that, since it isn't the way I test things.
damaskos Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Lovely mod, but the mine needs place to sleep. I added few, but could not figure out how to make them work like normal beds, always that "serve your sentence" window. Could somebody help?

stobor Posted December 2, 2014 Author Posted December 2, 2014 The problem with beds is that the 'serve your sentence' behavior is part of the vanilla game. I can't "fix" it, at least not without running the risk of real conflicts.

stobor Posted December 2, 2014 Author Posted December 2, 2014 Then try manually starting the quest. If something is preventing the aliases from filling, the quest will fail to start... but I'm at a loss for what could cause that, unless you have a mod that removes one of the named NPCs from Cidhna. It can't be anything very common or obvious, or other people would have hit it by now.
aspirine2 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 does the milk conversation line appear inside the cidhna prison or with the guards..and it doesn't appear on both for me any help i can get ?? Â i get line are you staring at my chest ? from this mod http://www.loverslab.com/topic/39827-wip-nice-melons-you-got-there-honey/

eric_starbuck Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Did you ever think to expand the "devious" part to the forsworn conspiracy part? Especially with Nepo and the guy he sends after you. it would be nice if after beating you they would "use" you and this could also better explain why the PG is so submissive when she gets to madanach.  Something like she was broken by nepos and everything happening to her before the prison.
stobor Posted December 4, 2014 Author Posted December 4, 2014 @eric_starbuck: Hmm, not a bad idea. I have sometimes had the brawl outside the Warrens end that way (without the Brawl Bug patch), without needing any special modding, but it might be interesting to develop that idea further.
stobor Posted December 4, 2014 Author Posted December 4, 2014 @damaskos: I'm not going to be doing anything like that, nor adding beds.  That mod looks like it would be a likely conflict with vanilla Skyrim (and with Unofficial Patch mods). Feel free to use it, but I'm not going to add something like that to this mod. If I start modifying the mines myself, it would conflict with other mods that do so - like the 'Blood & Silver' expansion. There is already a workaround for Realistic Needs, as someone mentioned. So there's no great need for this sort of complication.
magicrealm Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 thonar silverblood and madanach both get killed. so i get no further quests, sigh. what if i ressurect madanach ? will that work?
Discord12 Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I jsut came here to say that I love this mod. Â It's the (by far) best questmod I've encountered yet, and hope to see more of it. Â I'm curious about one thing. Â I ended the "Borkul" Questline, got my stuff back. When talking to Madanach again, he tells me to go to the warrens. I dont get a questlog, but I can go to the warrens and convince garvey. Nothing ever happens from there on though and madanach doesnt react to it. Â Is that a Bug or a foreshadowing to expanding the questline even further?
eric_starbuck Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 It is just the beginning of something in develpement. Unfortunately there is no more.  I started the whole quest 3 times so far.  It is a pity the first part is quite "hard" for new characters. (especially nepos house).
stobor Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Umm, Nepos the Nose can be skipped entirely. It is sufficient to do either Nepos or the Treasury House, as far as I can tell. And the Treasury House is far easier.
Discord12 Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 skipping one of those doesnt seem to work for me, questlog always needs me to do both =(
eric_starbuck Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Me too. I usually lower the difficulty to basic to pass nepos house. once I got enslaved by SD+ and I thought it could be something part of the devious chidna mod, making nepos sending you to madanach in order you help him escape.  Borgul of course does not trust you and you get through the standard first part of devious chidna. Then once escaped and arrived to the camp, you meet nepos again, who virtually passes your ownership to his king.  besides the borgul mission (meet the neighbours), there could be another mission from nepos to expand the scenario.
stobor Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Hmm, that's odd. I don't think I have any mods that alter that quest. My last real play-through went like this: Talk to Eltrys, start the investigation Sneak into Margaret's room, read the journal Report to Eltrys (get paid) Investigate Weylin's quarters (get in brawl, lose. sneak up on thug and kill him.) Report to Eltrys (get paid) Investigate the Treasury House Return to the temple to warn Eltrys, encounter guards, go to jail. Devious Cidhna begins. I think the key is how many times you report back to Eltrys.
eric_starbuck Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I think the difference is: Investigate Weylin's quarters (get in brawl, lose. sneak up on thug and kill him.)I beated the thug and he gave me the information about nepos without killing him. then the quest marker points us to nepos.
stobor Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 No, I got the quest marker pointing at Nepos. I just didn't get that far, before the guards arrested me.
eric_starbuck Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I am planning another playtrough, i will try to do so.
jfraser Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I used to gather help with a follower mod before I discovered the same thing. Get Margaret's journal, speak with weylin once to start the quest, go to the treasury house, go back to the temple and get arrested. I don't even go to the warrens at all.
