maxsteiner Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I got no "cant we find some arangement" line with the beast. I tried to start this with a pc already in chidna mine. I havent done anything yet so i still got to get past the beast but all i get is the vanilla talk options.

That probably would not work, the quest is triggered by going to the mine after completing the Forsworn Conspiracy. Skipping ahead (or just getting arrested for random theft) won't do it.
stobor Posted October 15, 2014 Author Posted October 15, 2014 @xesfer: Glad you enjoyed it; I find that it really helps immersion if NPCs actually react to what has happened, rather than repeating the same old lines. But reputation comments are hard to generalize beyond a single mod, because to work well they need to be specific enough (and character-appropriate) to give the illusion that the NPC really does know your reputation. Knowing how many times you've had sex isn't enough (is the character a whore, or a honeymooner?). Fortunately, this is an area that doesn't really require a shared framework (beyond what Bethesda has provided); it is trivial to add 'hello' comments to NPCs, and there really isn't much need to coordinate them between mods.
Saber2th Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Will the follow up quest work if I've already finished the Cidhna Mine quest before installing the mod?
stobor Posted October 15, 2014 Author Posted October 15, 2014 Will the follow up quest work if I've already finished the Cidhna Mine quest before installing the mod? Not likely. You could probably start the Pirate quest manually (from the console), but the rest have more specific starting conditions.

It does however crash alot when i try to use the free camera mode though.
BlackHoleEyes Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I have something of an issue (i guess). Doing pirate Prize again now. Gone through 25 encounters, but no dialogue choice for the beach dumping. Do the "mmrph" dialogue choice with the count as an actual encounter, or does it HAVE to be those were they approach you? I'm some place north of 25, if you count the "Mmrph" ones. So unless those count i guess i gotta go back to the grind. Does the dialogue branch only come up with the First Mate, or is it any of the corsairs?
stobor Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 As I recall, it is probably any of them, or perhaps any of them except the first mate (depends on the relative order of the dialogue conditions). Or maybe I'm misremembering the threshold. Try this in console: help dvCidhna 3 and look for something like DvCidhna_PirateCount. Set it to something really high, like 50. Then talk to some pirates (talk... not just force-greet lines).
MortalKombat88 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 First of all great mod! I got a question though. The part in the prison worked like a charm. But after the ruins when we get into the town again. The Forsworn en guards are fighting but I get no dialogue or any indication of what to do. Afterwards the Forsworn just run away and I don't know how I can activate the extra quests. The onces where the Forsworn are still alive. How do I activate the other quests? Or is this a bug on my end? I downloaded and installed this map with an existing save, no previous version from this mod.

If you've sided with the Forsworn and they've fought their way out of Markarth, they'll head toward Druadach Redoubt. Just go there and talk to Madanach again to start the Forsworn side quests.
jfraser Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Or you can follow them when they escape Markarth. It's kind of entertaining watching them navigate the terrain.

You mean watching them collect a train of hostile city guards, warring imperial and stormcloak troops, the occasional sabrecat or wolf, and a couple of Afflicted for good measure? I once followed Borkul the Beast to Druadach Redoubt and he got all of these. I have to admit, it was pretty funny when the afflicted and city guard caught up to a stormcloak-imperial skirmish and a sabrecat jumped in.

However, i keep running between the corsairs and First Mate, talking to each of them, without getting any new dialogue choices. Do i need to have some of the devices removed or something?
stobor Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 If you've never had the gag removed, then you're still at stage < 20. That would prevent the dialogue in question (the "Master, are you ready for me?" variations) from proceeding, no matter how long you'd been with the pirates. Other than that, I don't see any way it wouldn't show up.
blarghxxx Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 So I played through "Meet the neighbours" and the chest didn't contain all of my items. Ther were some that might have been mine and some that most definately were never mine but most stuff was missing. Just an FYI, I'm currently deliberating whether to try again (but I'd have to start efore cidhna mine because I'm a lazy saver) or just consider it bad kuck for my character and go on :-)

Ok thank you very much! I didn't remember this quest in vanilla Skyrim. Just started a few weeks back as a restart. I completed it more than a year ago so
wex969 Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 you should make a version of this mod that is compatible with Blood and Silver - Cidhna Mine Expanded by Nerd of Prey http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59277/?
circ Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Was sort of thinking the same thing. An enlarged Cidhna would give the quest more length too.
jfraser Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 I haven't tried it, but it looks as if the two would work together. Add Dangerously Nude or something similar and you will even be able to extend the raping to the new npc's.
stobor Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 I may take a look at it; if the factions for the new NPCs are the same, it might help. More likely, it'd require treating that mod as a master file (and thus, a separate download for this mod, because I'm not making that mod a hard requirement).

It uses the faction the other prisoners use. Also, if you did the same trick that Slaverun does, you can turn the females in there into slaves, too.
