Your efforts are greatly appreciated BM - this mod is a must have in my loadout!

 

Q: Is there any chance of incorporating the spider add-on into the main mod?  I'd love to have both, but losing the spit effect in the spider one stops me from using it - I usually have the spit effects to 100% (in EC+ too), which means my party need to avoid it or it takes them out of the combat making life increasingly difficult with multiple enemies! ;)

All help (and solutions) gratefully received - Unfortunately my game time is limited atm (as are my scripting skills at all times!)  so I am working on this but it's unlikely I will have a quick solution.

 

With any luck I will have some more time  at the end of July and into August to really take a pop at it.

 

 

Understood, we all have to deal with real life first... a game is just a game.   Get to things when you can, no pressure from me.   As for my enthusiasm, a lot of this is new to me so its the novelty effect.  I've actually only had the game about 5 months, so most of the mods are new to me.  I've started picking up the basics of mods but have a LOT to learn; helping figure out bugs in others mods is part of my way of doing that, just watching and learning.  Eventually, I want to try making some mods of my own.  BTW, I'm also an intermediate level 3D modeler, so if at some point you need some meshes made, textures, etc. I might be able to help (I'm pretty good at hard surface models, still getting the hang of softbody models and I'm still a noob at rigging and animation).  I need to learn what formats Skyrim uses and how to import things though.

 

 

So I've been trying to figure out the bugs looking at the PSC and testing in the mod (this is my first time looking at papyrus in anyway), after looking through some of the scripts and looking specifically at the MCM psc and player psc the thought occured that there doesn't appear to be a way to track state change of a follower. so if a follower becomes pregnant it will show in menu but because you've registered the follower before they were pregnant when you change cells the pregnancy will vanish. 

 

So I went to test my theory, used the chaurus breeder spell on Lydia outside of breeze home, registered her, and then entered the house changing cells, and yes she remained pregnant, because she was registered after she was pregnant.

 

I'm wondering if that's what happened with the bandit I mentioned in a previous post.  Maybe I registered my girls and inadvertantly registered the bandit after the bandit was pregnant and didn't realize what I'd done.  That would explain it.  Certainly sounds like you've made some progress figuring it out.

 

EDIT:  I tried repeating your experiment and here's what happened.   I took a follower (Marim again) into Greywatch cave and first made sure she was NOT registered with EC+ or the spider addon (just in case there is any cross talk between them, don't think there is but better to be sure), I'd already cleared the trolls out so it was a good spot to use.  Spawned a chaurus reaper, made him very horny and used a calm spell on him and then let Aroused Creatures do the rest.  Got the golden glow, checked and she had been impregnated.  Calmed the chaurus again, then went to MCM and registered Marim as a companion, then left the cave.   Outside (new cell, Skyrim world) she was still pregnant.

 

Next I went to Whiterun and went in, another cell change and sadly Marim was no longer pregnant.   So it seems once you register that's it, no more cell changes.  Did not try leaving her unregistered and then leaving the cave but I suspect that won't work either, may give it a try later.

 

I don't know anything about papyrus (I suppose i'll have to learn it at some point if I get serious about mods) but I think you're on the right track, if that flag can be identified and maybe a reset option can be added in MCM; that would solve some other problems.  Maybe when Bane gets some free time he can point you at the flag, otherwise if you have the script you might be able to find it yourself.  Wish you luck on that.

I'd second this, would cut down on the mods and configs we have to keep up with.

 

Speaking of spit attacks.  The current effect is okay but seemed kind of... I dunno, comical, to me.   I mean a chaurus spits at a gal and a dweomer machine pops up?  LOL   Granted you can turn that animation off in Sexlab so its not a huge issue.  But, I was looking at the Aracnophobia mod today.  I haven't installed it yet but it got me thinking.  What if the spit attack for spiders and chaurus did a web effect instead, essentially acting like a knockdown effect from Defeat or maybe just make the spit paralytic (making whoever is hit and doesn't resist very vulnerable)?  Just kind of seemed like a more "immersive" approach (and creepy as hell but that's part of what makes it cool).  Right now the main priority is getting the basic pregnancy tracking working correctly.  Until that's done not much else matters IMHO.

Got another question.  This is my first time using a pregnancy mod, so there are a few things I'm not sure about.  Specifcally, the body changes I should be seeing.

In EC+ I have body changes enabled, breast, glute and belly growth are set to fast.   Max breast size is 3 and max belly is 6.

 

After 3 days (the default incubation period) and just a few hours away from their "due date" I've noticed the girls breasts have gotten noticably larger, but their bellies are still flat washboards.  As far as I can tell in EC+ the belly node is active and should be working, so either I've done something wrong or something isn't working right.  Any suggestions?

Have tried out CBBE yet, should at some point.  Right now I'm working to just keep what I have stable.  I made the mistake of installing Beeing Female and... just don't.  The mod itself can be frustrating but worse when I uninstalled it, it corrupted my saved games.  I had to roll back to a save before I installed it and even then it screwed up MCM, a couple of mods (including EC+ when I tried to reinstall it) and one follower got corrupted (they were there but could not interact with them at all, no talking, nothing, had to delete them and respawn to get the follower back).

 

So for now I'll stick with UNPB.   But yeah, at some point, maybe next time I start a new game, might give CBBE a try.  Will have to find armors and things to go with it, I've got a pretty good collection for UNPB.

 

Oh an been trying out Hentai Pregnancy and SoulGem Pregnancy, so far they seem compatible with EC+

Natively EC only triggers tentacle attacks from spit.

What I did was go into SexLab and toggled the animations I didn't want, same as with anything else.  That seems to work for now.  Although, one issue I did notice is that when you register the animations it puts them in the normal / consensual list for SexLab.  As a side effect, sometimes when an NPC masturbates I've gotten the big blob hentai thing show up instead.  Kind of funny but can break immersion if that's what you're going for.  Dunno if you could move them to the Aggressive list or how hard that would be, might be an idea.

 

I think maybe an alternate effect for the spit, give it a paralytic effect, would be a nice option if possible.  Retain the tentacle attack and just select which you want (one, the other or both).  Then if I use Arachnophobia, the paralytic effect would make the victim that much more vulernable to the web attacks or with a chaurus, just more vulnerable to knockdown in Defeat... either of which is bad news for the vicitm.  Less change and coding for you that way as well.   Just an idea though.   Big thing is fixing pregnancy tracking across cells, without that the rest is kind of a moot point.

 

BTW, do the baby chaurus ever grow up to full size?   I did infest the outside part of Whiterun, around the stables.  A few days after they hatched the guards were running around killing them.  Was funny to watch but got me to thinking, are those things actually growing or do they stay babies forever (or at least until a crazed guard kills them).

 

Funniest moment was when one guard shouted "I'm getting out of here!" and actually ran away.

Don't know if they ever reach full size, but I have had them grow to a point where they begin spitting too!  I pretty much wiped out Whiterun accidentally (I guess I didn't do enough reading!), figuring they don't grow.  Had to reload from an earlier save and help wipe out the infestation lol!

LOL, hate to say but things like that were a big part of why I tried this mod.   Oh hi Maven, you arrogant *&)^).... hear you got a bug problem in your house, how's that going... oh wait, I guess that fat belly answers my question.   Couldn't have happened to a more deserving breeder.   An then there's Eislif, the Blades (never liked them), the Dark Brotherhood (let me get this straight, you send over two dozen assasins to try an kill me, I've got your "contracts" in my pocket btw; and NOW you thought it'd be a good idea to kidnap me, drag me out to a cabin where we're all alone and try an recruit me... explain to me again how you thought this could possibly end well for you?), etc.

Heh, I first got the game a little over 5 months ago.  Played thru the entire story line twice vanilla, that took about 3 months (2nd time went a lot faster).  After that I'd gotten a pretty good handle on what weapons and tactics to use and if you have something like EFF, well... an army of followers certainly makes some dungeons easier (not all, a few they actually just get in the way due to too many confined spaces).   Then about 2 months ago I started experimenting with mods and its been mod insanity ever since!  lol

 

Right now I'm trying to use a few mods, EC being one and possibly arachnophobia together to create a particular "experience".    Basically, when I play my character as heroic (and sometimes even when I play him as evil), he tends to form an attachment to one of his followers.  Sometimes it Lydia, sometime one of the new ones added by mods.   They become best friends, companions, lovers, etc.   Okay so now imagine this scene.

 

Our hero and his best gal enter some dungeon or cave while questing, adventuring or just looking for loot.  They are set upon by a swarm of spiders (or chaurus).  Our hero is an archer and mage so begins firing away, while his best gal rushes forward to tank for him equipped in the best sexy armor he could craft for her with a legendary sword.   Its their usual strategy and they've got the routine down pretty well.

 

But then it all goes horribly wrong.   The spiders start spitting at tank gal and she's caught in webs!!!  Or the chaurus spit at tank gal and she's paralyzed!!!  The creatures swarm past her towards our hero who fights on alone now.  But it gets worse, he see's not all of them have rushed him, one has turned its attention to tank gal... what's it doing?   What's that extending out of its abdomen... it can't be... no.... it is... its going to.... oh god no, not that... not to her!!!   Our hero fights harder to save his best gal before she's violated by the vile creature.

 

Maybe he does... or maybe he doesn't... maybe afterwards he helps her the best he can as she deals with an awkward and unsettling pregnancy.  Does she feel betrayed that he couldn't stop it from happening?   Maybe she's even a lil turned on by it... or maybe he is...    Do they decide to hunt down spiders and/or chaurus or just avoid them from now on?

 

An that's it in a nut shell.   Anyways that's what I've been up to with my interest in all this.   And of course the other part was the above, snatch some hapless bandit, get her impregnated and then drop her off in someone's house to lay eggs...  SURPRISE!!!

 

Still need to install and try out Arachnophobia and see if it plays well with EC and the spider add on.   Being a lil cautious about mods after that mess with Beeing Female.

For some reason the animations aren't registering with SexLab, everything else is working fine as far as I can tell, but the animations won't register. Have I perhaps missed something?

Q: do you have the original Estrus installed?

 

If so, try going into SexLab and rebuilding the registered animations, then see if it will register.

Deselect some, re-register remaining animations with sexlab, then attempt to register EC+ animations. (If that doesn't work, deselect some more NSAP animations, re-register remaining animations with sexlab, then attempt to register EC+ animations.(If that doesn't work, deselect some more NSAP animations, re-register remaining animations with sexlab, then attempt to register EC+ animations.(If that doesn't work, deselect some more NSAP animations, re-register remaining animations with sexlab, then attempt to register EC+ animations.(If that doesn't work, deselect some more NSAP animations, re-register remaining animations with sexlab, then attempt to register EC+ animations. etc..... Not sure if I'm just missing something here but is there an option for CBBE users to switch to a weight based system instead of the skeleton? Looks a little strange going by skeleton.

Nah, I figured it out and took out several animations I didn't use or like. I also had the original Estrus mod installed, but the esp was not active. Not sure if that was part of it as well.

Ah. Okay.

 

I've got it working now. It was an issue with the maximum animations allowed number. I turned a ton off and its working fine now. Thanks for the info everyone! I wasn't aware of the limit.

Having a small issue with EC+. I installed EC+ primarily for use with Deviously Enchanted Chests and Cursed Loot; not fond of pregnancies so I turned that feature off. However, everytime I get assaulted by a Chaurus after being defeated, my character is friendly to all Chaurus.

 

I found I could manually fix this by removing my pc from the ZZEstrusChaurusExclusionFaction (if I recall correctly. There were 2 EC factions - exclusion and breeder - I had to remove my character from one of the factions) However, I have to repeatthis after any mating with a chaurus. Is there any way around this?

 

Edit: I think it was the ZZEstrusChaurusBreederFaction I had to remove myself from

I'm having an issue with the two new animations firing and causing some mods to fail and even some console command. any ideas as to what could be happening? already did a clean save, just in case. i am also triggering it from cursed loot.

After dozens of hours of gameplay, I'm having a severe issue with the 3.94 version: Most of the hostiles, being NPCs or creatures, become friendly at a certain distance from the player character. I checked my mods one by one and the culprit is unmistakably this mod.
