If this game was about 'SJW propaganda' as you call it, that character would have been raised by a black female lesbian dwarf and a transsexual elf and they'd be overjoyed that their son was gay. Â But seriously, keep that bullshit in the appropiate threads. If you feel that itch to follow your personal crusade against xyz, do that in the threads that are meant for it or do it elsewhere, but not on LL. I think that soon enough this whole feminazi-SJW-taking-over-the-world conspiracy shit will get the politics treatment.

She's attracted to female Qunari more than anything. I haven't tried to hook up with her (and I never will), but the Strategy Guide tells me so.  You should be able to hook up with anyone no matter the gender or race so things like this can't be pointed at and argued about. It's controversial, and it doesn't have to be.  The worst part is, I went through the Eluvian with Morrigan as a female, but if you try to add that to the "Keep" (lazy way of not importing saves), they force you to change your used PC from DAO to a male. If you romanced Morrigan as a female, it will make you change it to a guy. If you performed the "ritual" with her, guy.  They pulled down their pants, squatted down, and took a big ol' shit on Equal Love. What's worse? The Keep doesn't see my DA2 characters! Got done beating DA2, fired up the Keep, and no blood mage!  Whether you're a girl or a guy, the option to flirt with Cassandra comes up in every conversation, but a girl can't hook up with her. That option should not exist if you can't hook up with someone. Got the same thing with Vivienne, but NO ONE can hook up with her. Not even a kiss, like Bella from DAO, or Kaitlyn (from...DAO).  So far, the only person I'd even consider hooking up with is Josephine. I may not even hook up with anyone. No one interests me in this game. Merril was a sure thing in DA2, and banging Isabella is something I had to do each time. Leliana and/or Morrigan were good options in DAO. In DAI I would sooner avoid romance with these characters than persue it.  I would have hooked up with Cassandra, but this happened --> Cassandra.png  On a side-note, being a hardass in this game leads to constant disapproval. The only time I've used a renegade option and gotten approval was with Varric (gotta love Varric). Either you're nice all the time, or you're disliked by all.  And how do you get a healing spell?? I don't see one in Solas' spell list. If there is no healing spell, or you have to be a Spirit Healer to get one, I will be dying an Awful lot.  I wonder what the whorehouse in this game is like. Interested to see if they finally added sex. There is no other purpose for a whorehouse, afterall.  Also, this game needs hair mods. The current options are pretty bad. Bioware employees seem to have something against long hair.    I hope most of the complaints in that spoiler are not meant seriously ... especially that everyone should be romancable by everyone ...like in DA2? Such an odd decision.  Why must it be okay for Cass to be completely changed? Why is it bad to want someone we already find attractive to remain attractive? Or at least, look similar to her old self. Every feature is different. It was a bad decision for more than one reason.  Seriously though, add someone attractive to the game. Someone. Just one? No? As I understand it, there will be no DLC characters this time...  In each DA game, there has been someone sexy. Stopping now is as good a decision as taking away the ability to equip team members with any armor you want. It goes as far as to all but eliminate long hair. This is not Mass Effect! These people are not in an actual military! No reason to have no such thing as long hair.  Even guys should have the option for long hair. It's not just a girl thing.  ...unless you overdo it --->  Â

DA2 looked sometimes like an animated comic, DA:I doesn't anymore. Your pictures from Cassandra are all about different styles. The first one from DA2 looks like it's from a 3D comic game, the second one looks like it's taken from an anime and the last one is the result of attempting to recreate her in a more realistic style. Haha!  But you're right, the 1st one was from DA2, the second was from her actual anime, and the last is DAI, which is certainly more detailed, but still has a ways to go before it resembles her from DA2. The face shape and bone structure, the eyes, they're completely different.  I'm not opposed at all to to making everyone look more detailed, but Leliana looks pretty much the same, and Varric can still be recognized as Varric, even in different clothes. If Cass was in anything but Seeker armor, or if I didn't already know that was her, I may not have thought it was even her, but eventually, I may have noticed a slight resemblance. This is of course if I had the game on mute.  I do like her in the game, she's a good character. Nothing bad to say but the change of appearance. Isabella had her makeover, guess it was time for Cassandra's.  So ending the Cass stuff, my crash issues pretty much disappeared lately. Pretty cool, but I don't know why this happened. I love, and hate it when that happens. Multiplayer is no longer crashing either. I played the crap out of it yesterday all night (kicked ass too! Beat the second difficulty 6 times in a row without even coming close to dying! Can't wait for new maps, characters, weapons, armor, and difficulty levels! MP has me hooked, buddy. Finally Promoted someone, and....okay, I'm gonna go play online. It calls to me.

I don't see ANY point of making everyone romanceable to everyone...sexuality is part of a character and writing one. And I NEVER liked this in DA2 that everyone is bisexual ...  But hey, if you thing males in Inquisiton get shafted on teh romace-side...pelase look at BG2 and the options, no OPTION there for females...*shudders* I get nightmares stil lthinking of that arsehole...  And I think Cass is okay. She is Brienne of Thedas. She cares not for looks, has been in battles, duty is more important for her than makeup. In fact I dislike her DA" appearance a lot more...and I love her scar ... and I will probably never romance her as I dislike playing dudes, but its okay. Because Cass simply isn't written as a lesbian, I accept this...  But as far as looks go in this game all that matters to me in the end is: No one is hotter, cooler, sexier than my Inquisitor anyway!!!    Â

Example after you kill your first High Dragon you can drink with Iron Bull and he starts spouting off Qunari words, even if you are also a qunari you can ask him what these words mean. I as a qunari even an outcast qunari should know my own language and wouldn't need to ask what they mean. Â The second thing I dislike is Sera as a romance option, She acts so childish I seriously couldn't see myself wanting to be with her even if she wasn't gender locked.

Plus, that garlic sweat that appears on her face from time to time looks pretty awful too. I don't know what they were trying to do, but this is by far the worst looking romanceable character I've seen in Bioware games.

Â Â Â Â Â Â That's what you can expect from sex in DAI. They finally add actual nudity, and this is what they did with it. Â Sera seems quite useful in battle, but other than that, I keep away from her. Too weird. She's something outta Monty Python. I just took a shit...that was sexier than her. I'm sure I'm missing some important dialogue with her, since I don't talk to her. Â Imagine what Merril would look like if she was in this game... Â Also, from the vid, it appears you have the same voice options as an elf or dwarf. If I had known that, I would have used the Skyrim chick's voice for my PC. I tried to stick with the same exact type of character as I had in DAO all the way through the series (hot evil human blood mage chick). I'll definitely use a guy if I choose an elf or dwarf, to avoid reusing Bethany's voice. The Skyrim voice wouldn't sound right for an elf, and I don't wanna use a female dwarf. Definitely a male dwarf. Think that's what I'll be next. Male dwarf was an excellent story in DAO.

Talks like a mutated piece of turd at first, but once you get to know her you try to read between the lines and you realize she's the only person in the whole universe at that point who gives a damn about the people, all the "lifeless NPCs" you see in the background. And with her caring so much, it gives a nice depth to the whole 'saving the world' context. She's a perfect RPG character from my point of vue, as she expands the world she's put in by referencing hidden actors. If I finish my book someday, I'm sure I'll find a character like her in it.  Doesn't look nice though I gotta admit, but if you keep in mind that BioWare wants to invest in characters instead of fan service waifus, why should she look nice in the first place ?Â

Â Well, for point one: That's true and this is another hint that DAI was always meant to be Hawke's story, notthe Inquisitor's. The Quizzy surely was an afterthought, added to replace teh unlucky Hawke who was sacrificed to please the fans after the backlash of DA2 and Shitstorm of ME3. There was a nice post at the Bioware-forums these days that gave a lot of other exampes for this, that you could easily replace the Quizzy with Hawke and a couple of key-chars...and then you have DA2 as an elaborate Prologue/Origin-story setting up DAI... Â I don't mind much, as I never cared for dwarves or elves anyway. Could easily go without racial choices...but for some this indeed ca nbe a bit dissapointing I suppose. And Sera? Well, I wouldn't want to date Harley Quinn or Tank Girl either...she is not right in the head, comic relief all the way, with the coolest dirty laugh one can imagine. Romance at your own risk I'd say... Â And good to see Angry joe's strong final verdict- Personally though I play on PC and see none of the issues with the controls, maybe playing as a warrior is more difficult than mage? Anyway...glad he showed us that Iron Bull romance-scene, I probably will never see it myself, and it was HILARIOUS! :D Best Bioware-Game since DAO, easily surpassing the entire ME-Franchise for me... Â

Â Either way I've already payed my $70 for DAI and even with Denuvo it was well worth the price compared to other new releases "cough" Assassin's Creed Unity "cough"

Additionally, I've heard the bypass will actually improve game performance, so I reckon anybody who doesn't do multiplayer will want a piece of it as well.

Guest carywinton Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Well unfortunately just like DA2 there will be no toolset for DAI so modding and such is going to be extremely difficult if even possible. As far as the game goes, it's quite cinematic and pretty but the controls stink. One of the key elements to good game design was totally ignored, make the game function well first. A pretty environment and people is all very nice, but if it does not function well, then it is merely pretty pictures. In the near future I will be developing a game and selecting some folks from here and a few other places to work on it. Then I can finally show what a game should function like. It may not be as pretty as all the award winners, but it will be fun to play because it will work.
